Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Capítulo 2003: Chapter 2003: There’s a Bit of Blood on the Pants

The fetus had been quite stable for a while, but one night she started bleeding.

Nangong Xu immediately consulted many renowned doctors to treat her, and after some treatment, the fetus stabilized again.

But Nangong Xu was already on edge, arranging for someone to watch over her at all times, almost never leaving her side.

Only when she was asleep was she allowed to be alone.

However, a servant would come in to check on her every ten minutes.

…

Nangong Ruyue went to the bathroom and was shocked to find a bit of blood on her pants.

Bleeding again!

Even though she didn’t like this child and didn’t want to give birth to him,

if the child were lost, Nangong Xu would certainly target Jian Yufei and them again.

Yufei was finally living a happy life, and she couldn’t let her happiness be ruined.

Nangong Ruyue quickly left the bathroom to find a servant.

By the time Nangong Xu received the news and rushed back, Nangong Ruyue was already in the hospital’s emergency room.

“What happened?!” he demanded darkly from the servant.

The servant replied nervously, “I don’t know what happened. Madam suddenly said she was bleeding, and then we brought her to the hospital.”

Fortunately, Nangong Castle had its own hospital, close by.

Nangong Xu’s presence was chilling; everyone knew how important this child was to him.

If anything happened to the child, no one knew what he would do.

The doctors understood this, so they worked hard on the emergency treatment.

…

Not long after, Nangong Ruyue was wheeled out of the emergency room.

Nangong Xu strode forward and asked the doctor, “How’s the situation?”

The doctor replied, “Madam’s body is temporarily fine, and the fetus is still safe. But we still need to observe further to understand why Madam bled again.”

“Will anything happen to the child?” Nangong Xu asked grimly.

The doctor shook his head, “We aren’t very confident. After all, the fetus changes every day, and we can’t predict what might happen specifically.”

Nangong Xu was furious, “The fetus must be saved!”

He rarely got angry and always faced people with a smile, so when he did get angry, it was even more frightening.

The doctor nodded respectfully, “Yes, we will certainly do our utmost.”

…

Nangong Ruyue was taken into a ward.

Nangong Xu stayed by her side; she woke up after sleeping for a few hours.

“Ruyue, how are you feeling?” Nangong Xu asked with concern.

Seeing his calm expression, Nangong Ruyue knew the child was still fine, nothing had happened.

She nodded, indicating she was fine.

Nangong Xu took the initiative to tell her, “The child is still here, don’t worry. The doctor said the fetus is currently fine, but we need to be more careful in the future until we get through the dangerous first three months.”

Nangong Ruyue looked indifferent; she really wanted to say that this child shouldn’t have come into this world at all.

Even heaven doesn’t want him to be born, which is why he has faced so many challenges.

But Nangong Xu insisted on his birth, and they had no choice.

Moreover, only by having this child can all the past grievances be resolved.

Nangong Ruyue was conflicted; she didn’t look forward to the arrival of this child, yet she hoped he would be born.

So everything could only go with the flow.

Nangong Ruyue fell asleep again shortly after waking.

Nangong Xu walked out of the ward, where the doctor was waiting for him with the test results.

“Sir, the fetus’s test results are out.”

Nangong Xu’s expression became serious, “What is it?”
