Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 1966: Chapter 1966: I Want You to Watch Me Drink

So he couldn’t go with her, only she could go alone.

Jian Yufei knew that directly refusing him definitely wouldn’t work.

She thought for a moment and said, ”How about this, you send me there, and then you come back. When I come back, I’ll let my cousin take me.”

Ruan Tianling raised an eyebrow and asked, ”You don’t want me to go with you guys?”

Jian Yufei laughed, holding his arm, ”It’s a girls’ date, it’s not good for a man to go. Probably my cousin wants to talk to me about personal stuff, if you go, she won’t be able to say it.”

”Talk about personal stuff?”

”Yes, I heard her voice was very low on the phone earlier, she must be feeling down.” She did speak the truth here.

Ruan Tianling snorted coldly, ”Why is she looking for you when she’s feeling down?”

”My cousin doesn’t have friends, if she doesn’t look for me, who else can she find? Alright, let’s do it this way, you send me there, I’ll let my cousin take me back, okay?”

”No...”

”Ruan Tianling, honey, Tianling, please agree, okay?” Jian Yufei shook his arm and acted coy.

Seeing her like this, Ruan Tianling couldn’t suppress the smile at the corner of his mouth.

”Alright, I agree, but give me a reward.” He said affectionately.

Jian Yufei laughed happily, then tiptoed and kissed his lips...

...

Li Mingxi and she had agreed to meet at a Japanese restaurant.

After Ruan Tianling dropped Jian Yufei off, he reminded her a few times, and only when he saw her go in did he drive away.

Jian Yufei walked into the private room and immediately smelled the scent of alcohol.

Li Mingxi was kneeling on the tatami, drinking sake.

A whole pot of sake, she seemed to have drunk quite a bit.

Jian Yufei sat down opposite her, ”Cousin, what’s wrong? You seem to be in a bad mood.”

Li Mingxi smiled faintly, ”It’s nothing, you came alone?”

”Ruan Tianling took me to the entrance, I let him go back.”

”I said, how can he be assured letting you come alone.” Li Mingxi poured herself another cup and drank it slowly.

Putting down the cup, she looked at Jian Yufei and smiled, ”Yufei, you’re truly blessed, marrying someone who loves you and whom you love. Ruan Tianling used to be such a carefree person, but now he loves only you and treats you so well. So you must have your charm and qualities to make him devoted to you.”

Jian Yufei listened to her words and felt like laughing.

If Li Mingxi wasn’t Ruan Tianling’s cousin, she would suspect Li Mingxi liked Ruan Tianling too.

”Cousin, stop drinking. I told Ruan Tianling you’ll take me back later. How will you take me back if you’re drunk?”

Seeing her about to drink again, Jian Yufei hurriedly stopped her.

Li Mingxi pushed away her hand, ”I can’t take you back, let Ruan Tianling come to pick you up later. I’m in a bad mood today, just let me drink. I rarely get drunk.”

”Why are you in a bad mood?” Jian Yufei asked with concern.

Li Mingxi shook her head and smiled, continued drinking.

She drank a few more cups but was only slightly drunk, Li Mingxi was annoyed.

”Why am I still not drunk after drinking so much?!”

”Cousin, did you ask me to come just to drink with you?” Jian Yufei asked.

Li Mingxi shook her head, ”No, I just wanted you to watch me drink, didn’t let you join.”

Jian Yufei: ”...”

Li Mingxi stopped drinking, picked up her chopsticks, and randomly ate sushi, ”Eat too, I ordered a lot, eat more.”

”Okay.” Jian Yufei had already eaten, but she still ate some with her.
