Entertainment: Wanted to Acquire the Company on the First Day of Signing

21: Let me tell you how to fish, you’ll catch crocodiles!PD Zhao was also speechless. He really wanted to secretly tell Lu Qingyu through the headset to choose baking cakes, but he couldn’t because this live stream was 24 hours a day. Most importantly, Lu Qingyu wasn’t wearing his damn headset.

Just like that, the eight guests were divided into two teams. The other seven took a car to the bakery, while Lu Qingyu went to fish alone.

This time, Lu Qingyu obediently paid the ten-yuan fare. PD Zhao followed the other seven guests this time; he didn’t want to follow Lu Qingyu anymore, as it was too exhausting.

However, the Cameraman Brother was still the same one from yesterday.

Lu Qingyu got into the car and bumped his fist toward the camera lens. ”Big brother, happy working together.”

The Cameraman Brother silently closed his eyes. As long as you don’t run away, it’s fine. No matter how good his stamina was, he couldn’t handle Lu Qingyu’s antics.

Over there, the seven guests arrived at the bakery and started the activity. Bai Tingxin had a clear goal and continued to hover between Yao Yiyi and Lü Qing. Although they were already divided into groups, everyone was busy currying favor with the person they liked. Thus, if one didn’t know better, it was impossible to tell who was grouped with whom.

Meanwhile, Lu Qingyu arrived at the fishing ground.

The fishing ground was huge and divided into several areas with different species of fish. General fishing usually took place in Area 3, where the ponds were stocked with carp, grass carp, sea bass, and so on, offering a rich variety of species.

The person guarding the site was an older sister, and the program had arranged for someone to receive guests alongside her.

The Big Sister first introduced the site to Lu Qingyu: ”The site fee is two hundred yuan for three hours. Any fish caught during this period can be taken away. You can bring your own equipment or rent from us for one hundred yuan.”

”Whoa! I thought I could just start fishing directly. How are there site fees and rentals?”

”They only give 20 yuan per jin of fish, but it costs 300 yuan just to enter. This activity is a bit of a scam.”

”As a fishing enthusiast, let me say that catching fifteen jin of fish in three hours is very easy.”

Lu Qingyu stood there, pinching his chin and thinking for a moment. A Staff Member took the opportunity to say, ”If you feel it’s not worth it, you can leave and choose another activity.”

As soon as these words came out, Lu Qingyu understood. They wanted him to go bake cakes. Unfortunately, they didn’t know that out of the 206 bones in Lu Qingyu’s body, 205 were rebellious bones.

”Big Sister, I’m not renting fishing gear. Can you lend me this rope?”

Lu Qingyu pointed to the hemp rope hanging in the pavilion. The Big Sister looked at him, bewildered. Coming to a fishery and wanting a hemp rope instead of fishing gear? What use was that thing?

The Big Sister was a straightforward person: ”Sure, just remember to return it to me.”

Lu Qingyu had no money on him now. The program very consciously pulled out a 200-yuan IOU. This time, they didn’t open their mouths wide like lions to demand a ten-fold return; it was just a simple 200-yuan IOU.

Before signing, Lu Qingyu very solemnly asked the Program Production Team, ”If I sign this, the site fee is covered by you, and I won’t have to pay extra? And no matter what fish I catch, they belong to me, right?”

The Program Production Team answered very cautiously and carefully, ”Of course. However, no matter what fish it is, it can only be sold back to us at the price of 20 yuan per jin.”

The Program Production Team was afraid Lu Qingyu would catch expensive fish and sell them to other tourists to make more money.

Lu Qingyu: ”Deal.”

So, Lu Qingyu took the hemp rope and walked toward the pond, with the Cameraman Brother following behind.

The two walked one after the other, but as they walked, the Cameraman Brother began to feel uneasy.

Wait, that’s not right. Pond No. 3 is to the left. Why is Lu Qingyu going to the right? What is he doing?

The Cameraman Brother couldn’t speak or give reminders; there could be no interference with the guests during the filming process.

Then, in the next moment, he followed Lu Qingyu up two steps.

Holy crap, a crocodile!

In the 25-degree heat, the Cameraman Brother broke into a cold sweat.

Damn it, Lu Qingyu went to the Crocodile Breeding Pond.

The fishery specifically raised a batch of commercial crocodiles that could be sold for consumption. There were about twenty in the pond. An adult crocodile was about four meters long and could weigh five to six hundred jin.

The crocodiles here weren’t that big yet; they were still juveniles, but they were still nearly two meters long, and even the smallest must have weighed 100 jin.

This area of the fishery was surrounded by iron mesh. The crocodiles were confined in a 1.5-meter-high pool. There were shallow platforms in the pool for the crocodiles to rest. Seeing twenty-odd crocodiles packed together made the Cameraman Brother’s scalp tingle.

Before the Cameraman Brother could even adapt to the environment, he saw Lu Qingyu’s hands flying as he tied a special knot in the rope, leaving a circular loop.

Lu Qingyu spun the rope loop in the air a few times to build momentum and then took a step forward.

”Away you go!”

With a whoosh, the rope was tossed into the crocodile pond.

One crocodile thought the keeper was throwing fish. Its instinctive reaction was to thrust its head out to catch it. The next moment—oh no—its mouth was caught, and the rope tightened instantly.

The Cameraman Brother didn’t know where Lu Qingyu got the strength. As he exerted force with both arms—holy crap—the crocodile was actually dragged up by him.

The crocodile was passively dragged ashore. Just as it was about to resist, Lu Qingyu flipped onto its back and used the rope to bind its limbs and tail. In less than two minutes, a 200-jin crocodile was tied with a beautiful butterfly knot, lying honestly on the shore, unable to struggle at all.

At this moment, the screen was filled with bullet comments saying ”Holy crap!”

”Love Journey” now had two live stream rooms. At this time, Lu Qingyu’s live stream room completely eclipsed the live stream room of the other seven guests.

Although PD Zhao was at the other location, when he saw the live stream from the backstage, he couldn’t help but say, ”Holy crap.”

A cold sweat broke out on him. Big brother, that’s a crocodile! Their program hadn’t bought insurance for the artists!

No, was Lu Qingyu the reincarnation of a brat? Did he not know the meaning of fear?

They told him to go fishing, and he caught a crocodile?

After completing all this, Lu Qingyu clapped his hands and said to the Fishing Ground Guard who hurried over:

”Big brother, help me weigh this. How many jin is it?”

The man was stunned. ”Huh?”

Coming back to his senses, the Fishing Ground Guard said, ”Crocodiles aren’t the same price as ordinary fish. You’ll have to pay extra for this.”

The Staff Members looked at each other and then glanced at Lu Qingyu.

Lu Qingyu turned his head to look at the sky. Why are you looking at me? It was agreed before fishing that any fish could be caught. Once the site fee was paid, no other fees would be charged; all would be borne by the Program Production Team.

”Pfft, I’m dying of laughter. That crocodile still doesn’t understand. It was clearly just sunbathing, so how did it suddenly get kidnapped?”

”Little brother’s fish-binding technique is truly top-tier.”

”They told you to fish, but they didn’t tell you to fish for crocodiles! I’m laughing so hard I’m losing it.”

”The Program Production Team is going to lose a fortune again. This crocodile is at least 200 jin. At 20 per jin, little brother’s income for the day is 4,000 yuan. He can just lie flat after this.”

”The butterfly knot on the crocodile is unexpectedly hilarious to me.”

”Crocodile: Where are your manners?”
