Entertainment: Wanted to Acquire the Company on the First Day of Signing

9: You just eat alone? The bullet comments started flooding the screen upon seeing this rule:

”This is definitely stirring up trouble.”

”Whoever made the rules for this season’s show is definitely a little bitch, but I love watching it.”

”Good grief, they get money deducted for poor performance? The male guests really need to step up.”

”I’m curious now, who will be in last place after three days?”

”I guess Su Jing. He’s a doctor, so he probably doesn’t know how to please girls.”

”It’s definitely Lu Qingyu. It would be hilarious if he got paired with Kaluo. Kaluo, hurry up and give him a zero.”

The four girls stepped up one by one to draw lots. Wen Minmin drew He Chenguang, Kaluo drew Su Jing, Yao Yiyi drew Lü Qing, and Bai Tingxin drew Lu Qingyu.

There was a prepared task board in the lobby, listing the tasks available for this week.

Fishing: 20 yuan per catty.

Planting trees: 30 yuan per tree.

Orchard picking: 10 yuan per catty.

Couple’s pottery making: 40 yuan per item.

Baking cakes: 50 yuan for a six-inch cake.

Herding sheep for villagers: 200 yuan for four hours.

PD Zhao said: ”The rules have all been explained to everyone. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. If there are no questions, then for the remaining time, please proceed on your own, guests.”

PD Zhao left the rule card posted on the wall and exited, leaving the rest to the eight guests to act on their own.

Su Jing had a rich emotional history and acted like a total sweetheart.

”Kaluo, what do you want to eat? Spend my money first. Keep yours for now. In case we don’t do well on our tasks, at least you’ll still have 50 yuan to choose to sleep in a room.”

”After you’re full, we’ll choose a couple’s task. Don’t worry, with me here, I definitely won’t let you go hungry.”

Kaluo cupped its hands: ”Really? Thank you so much, Brother Su.”

Although Kaluo also knew that 50 yuan wouldn’t buy anything good to eat.

Su Jing was 1.8 meters tall. He wasn’t particularly handsome, but he knew how to dress well. Wearing a pair of gold-rimmed glasses, he had a restrained, ascetic vibe.

He was truly a master of romance; just a few short sentences were enough to win the girl’s heart.

”Wow, this Su Jing is so sweet. He only has 50 yuan, but he still insists on treating Kaluo to a meal.”

”So considerate, I like Su Jing.”

With Su Jing taking the lead, Lü Qing and He Chenguang felt embarrassed to pay for their own meals separately. Like Su Jing, they all paid for food using their own money first.

Lu Qingyu read the rules for a while, came back to his senses after two minutes, and then went to look at the menu.

Bai Tingxin walked over to Lu Qingyu’s side: ”Little brother, what do you want to eat?”

Lu Qingyu: ”Let me think.”

Bai Tingxin assumed Lu Qingyu would spend money to buy food for himself like the others. She asked Lu Qingyu because she wanted to see what he liked to eat so she could choose what he liked; after all, he was the one paying.

Lu Qingyu thought for a while and finally chose the most cost-effective combination: a steamed bun for 10, a bag of instant noodles for 30, and a ham sausage for 10.

Bai Tingxin was not very satisfied when she saw Lu Qingyu pick up instant noodles. Instant noodles had too many calories; she would have preferred a salad.

Bai Tingxin: ”Little brother, I think salad is healthier.”

Lu Qingyu nodded: ”I won’t be full.”

Bai Tingxin: !!

Fine, it’s your money anyway, I’ll just make do.

”Hahaha, the little brother is still growing; he definitely wouldn’t be full from eating salad.”

”I’m dying of laughter, that’s so true. I only eat salad as a snack after a meal.”

”What’s the difference between eating salad and eating grass? Instant noodles have more soul.”

”The little brother has such a slender waist, he definitely doesn’t need to eat salad.”

Lu Qingyu didn’t say much. The male guests in other groups had already started marketing their personas in front of the camera; they all looked so considerate.

Bai Tingxin was not very satisfied with Lu Qingyu. Lu Qingyu was the best-looking, but he didn’t seem to have any fame. When no one was looking, Bai Tingxin had searched for Lu Qingyu on her phone but found no information. This situation suggested that he was definitely a newcomer.

She had encountered types like Lu Qingyu before; it was already quite good if their annual income reached over 100,000. Although he was a celebrity, becoming famous in the entertainment industry was a metaphysical mystery.

Some people became famous as soon as they debuted, while others might not become famous even after ten years. Lu Qingyu was young and could wait it out, but she couldn’t afford to spend the time.

Therefore, among these male guests, the one she had her eye on at first glance was Lü Qing, the lawyer with an annual income of over 3 million.

It was a pity she wasn’t paired with Lü Qing, but that didn’t matter. There was nothing she wanted that she couldn’t get.

Lu Qingyu brought the items to the kitchen, and she followed him.

Lu Qingyu put the instant noodles into the pot and added the ham sausage. Once the noodles were cooked, he took out the steamed bun. It was still hot, so he ate it right away.

Bai Tingxin still felt a bit embarrassed. Lu Qingyu only ate one bun. He had 50 yuan; he spent 10 on himself but spent 40 to cook noodles for her.

This little brother was actually quite thoughtful.

Seeing that Lu Qingyu had finished cooking the noodles, Bai Tingxin sat at the table quite naturally. Lu Qingyu carried the noodles and sat opposite Bai Tingxin. The bowl of noodles was right in front of her. Bai Tingxin reached out her hand, about to say thank you, but Lu Qingyu placed the noodles directly in front of himself and started eating heartily.

”Hmm, delicious. It’s so fragrant. It would be even better if there were a poached egg.”

Bai Tingxin was petrified; her outstretched hand remained awkwardly suspended in mid-air.

”This… wasn’t for me?”
