Chapter 1609: Chapter 1610 First Meeting Princess Yu

”My name is Bai Rouxin. Your Highness might not know me, but you must know my sister. My sister is Bai Rouyan, one of the seven Saintesses of Da Yue. However, I don’t know how I got captured. I was just sneaking out alone to have some fun that day, then I suddenly fell asleep, and when I woke up, I was there. Luckily, I met a kind older sister who knew a bit about music, so I became a musician there. Unfortunately, I encountered that villain. If it weren’t for Your Highness appearing in time, I would have been harmed by him!”

Ye Luo frowned slightly. Although Bai Rouxin’s words were simple and it seemed like she was just lucky, this matter is definitely not simple!

Since Bai Rouxin’s sister is a Saintess of the Demon Clan, it’s obvious that someone intentionally did this. Otherwise, who would specifically target such a little girl?

From what Ye Luo knows, the Commerce Alliance seems to have its own rules and wouldn’t easily provoke people from notable families. So, obviously, someone captured Bai Rouxin and then sold her to the Commerce Alliance!

Of course, this was just Ye Luo’s speculation because, right now, Ye Luo doesn’t even know the true face of the Commerce Alliance!

This time, Ye Luo left the inn for several days because he was taking the little fox Bai Rouxin with him, and he left letters behind, so it didn’t make the Demon Clan guards too worried.

However, at this moment, someone difficult to serve had come to the inn!

Princess Yu of the Demon Clan!

She’s not as gentle as her name suggests. In fact, the fact that she dared to infiltrate the Great Tang Empire and even plan numerous actions against it shows her true nature.

And in fact, when Ye Luo previously faced the Demon Clan as the Ninth Prince, the real person he was contending with was this Princess Yu.

However, Princess Yu has always moved mysteriously. Let alone people of the Great Tang Empire, even those from the Demon Clan infiltrating within the Great Tang Empire rarely know Princess Yu’s whereabouts.

The tradition of the Demon Clan is different from that of the Great Tang Empire. In the Great Tang Empire, women are restricted, and even with high cultivation and status, it’s hard for them to gain real power. But it’s different for the Demon Clan, where inheritance of noble titles doesn’t depend on your birth but on your ability!

Even as a daughter, as long as you have ability, you can still be ennobled!

The Great Tang Empire doesn’t have even a single female general, yet the Da Yue Empire has several female noble titles!

This is the difference, a difference in culture and tradition.

Princess Yu had been at the inn for several days, and the Demon Clan guards knew the purpose of her visit, but they didn’t dare to speak too much, since this was a personal matter between the Third Prince and Princess Yu!

On this day, Princess Yu was resting in her room when her personal maid informed her that the Third Prince had finally returned!

”Hmph, how long did he think he could hide from me? Back so soon? What about the little fox? Did she come back too?”

Princess Yu rose and looked at her maid to ask.

The maid dared not conceal anything and had to truthfully answer, ”Yes, Princess, the little fox has also returned and is in her room right now!”

”Hmph, quite bold to have returned. She should know the cost of coming back—go, send someone over, and execute them on the spot! The prince doesn’t need such useless burdens that only drag him down!”

Such a straightforward order to execute on the spot, when it’s clearly her dissatisfaction with the little fox following Ye Luo away, but she had to find a dignified reason?

Having received the order, the maid immediately left to arrange manpower.

And Princess Yu leisurely prepared to meet Ye Luo!

In fact, Ye Luo didn’t think much at the moment. Although he knew some things about this Princess Yu from the Third Prince’s memories.

However, the previous Third Prince was a standard coward in front of Princess Yu. From the Third Prince’s memory, Ye Luo saw only how every time the Third Prince tried to avoid Princess Yu, with very little understanding of Princess Yu herself.

So at this moment, Ye Luo didn’t think much. In his eyes, since the little fox is at least the sister of a Saintess from the Da Yue Empire, and considering he was in his own territory, he had no guard.

Ye Luo knew that Princess Yu hadn’t left yet, so he guessed she would definitely come to find him. So he calmly returned to his room, preparing to meet Princess Yu. Little did he know, just as Ye Luo returned to his room, a guard knocked on his door.

”Report, Your Highness, Princess Yu has sent people to forcibly take away Miss Bai. We dare not stop them, and ask for Your Highness’s decision.”

What?

Ye Luo was shocked. He had not expected Princess Yu to make a move against the little fox. So naturally, he was filled with a slight anger and also worry!

Without a second thought, Ye Luo rushed out. He must catch up with the little fox as soon as possible; otherwise, if he was late, the consequences would be unimaginable.

At this moment, the little fox, although understanding that the people taking her away couldn’t possibly have any good intentions, could not resist.

Because the little fox’s strength was too weak, facing these Princess Yu’s guards, how could she resist?

At this moment, apart from praying secretly, the little fox had no way!

Princess Yu’s order was to execute on the spot, but this was still the Third Prince’s territory, and when they were taking people away earlier, the two guards stationed outside the little fox’s door even fought them. So these Princess Yu’s guards knew that this little fox indeed held a certain position in the Third Prince’s mind.

Therefore, they retained a bit of doubt and did not really execute her on the spot but instead prepared to take her away first.

This way, it gave the Third Prince a certain amount of time. If the little fox really had a certain position in the Third Prince’s heart, this time would be enough for the Third Prince to react. By then, as long as nothing had happened to her, the Third Prince wouldn’t really pursue their responsibility too much! Of course, this way, it also avoided having Princess Yu and the Third Prince become hostile over a little fox!

Of course, if the little fox wasn’t that important in the Third Prince’s heart, then they were just wasting a little time, which wasn’t much of an impact.

It can be said that it was precisely because of the guards’ cautiousness that the little fox was saved!

If it weren’t for the guards’ prudence and had they directly executed the little fox on Princess Yu’s orders, the little fox might have already perished!

Ye Luo’s speed was incredibly fast, and moreover, it was just within this inn. In theory, he should have been able to find the little fox in just a breath, but just as Ye Luo stepped out of his room, he was stopped.

At this time, the only one daring to stop Ye Luo was Princess Yu!
