The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

He Yingying’s words had quite a bit of reasoning.

Not only did the He Family and the villagers of Hejiagou believe it, but even Prince Liang, who wanted to marry He Tiantian out of gratitude for ”saving his life,” was convinced.

However, Prince Liang still insisted on marrying He Tiantian.

But unlike the original plot, this time, there was no longer that kind of infatuation and sincerity in Prince Liang’s eyes, but rather a few hints of calculation.

He Yingying, as a Wild Writer, was accustomed to performing tasks and possessed at least a basic level of acuity.

She accurately captured the change in Prince Liang’s emotions.

She knew that even if He Tiantian became the Princess Consort, she couldn’t, as in the original plot, be a loving couple sweet and blissfully affectionate with Prince Liang!

Prince Liang was not just a man; he was also an Imperial Relative with at least a minimum ambition for the throne.

If He Tiantian were truly a ”fortune-stealing” Demon, then she would also be an asset to Prince Liang.

Additionally, her ”Lucky Fish” constitution could bring fortune to her close relatives or those who shared interests with her.

And this was what Prince Liang needed.

So, Prince Liang still married He Tiantian, and the two became a couple in which ”one prospers, both prosper; one suffers, both suffer.”

He Yingying guessed Prince Liang’s intentions; she did not stop him but instead hinted to him to seek out an Enlightened master to deal with the ”Demon.”

For example, Master Hui Tong, the abbot of Fajue Temple in the Capital City, was proficient in Buddhism, and the Evil Exorcism Talismans he drew were also very effective.

Prince Liang: ...indeed, he had such an idea.

After all, he wanted to utilize Miss He, but if Miss He did not cooperate, he would have to take certain measures.

And with something strange about Miss He, those who targeted her often suffered from backlash.

Prince Liang was a Prince and should have some Qi Fortune.

But he could not withstand Miss He’s eeriness, and Prince Liang cherished his life.

Therefore, initially, he wanted to play the affection card, and if ”True Love” didn’t work, he would seek out an Enlightened master for some Evil Exorcism Talismans.

Such a move would both resist Miss He’s backlash and achieve his desire.

Prince Liang, filled with ambition, had already drafted his plans one, two, and three in his mind.

The original He Tiantian, however, did not know this; she thought that despite being maligned as a Demon, she was still lucky to meet her True Prince Charming.

She followed Prince Liang joyfully, unaware that what awaited her were not riches and glory, but confinement, threats, and abuse!

Of course, at the beginning, He Tiantian was still the much-envied Princess Consort Liang by all in the Capital City.

Countless commoner women envied her for being able to transform from a sparrow into a phoenix.

Prince Liang was also very considerate to her, focusing solely on her, not taking concubines, not getting close to maids — an absolutely perfect gentleman.

Even some noblewomen in the Capital City secretly remarked: ”He Family has good fortune to have encountered such a deeply affectionate man like Prince Liang!”

The original owner nearly got lost in the sweet dream Prince Liang wove for her.

Only, even though the original owner was intoxicated, she did not completely lose her reason.

She soon discovered that Prince Liang often complained to her, ”The Crown Prince is too overbearing. We’re all sons of the Father Emperor, yet because he is the Crown Prince, he treats his brethren as slaves!”

”Today, the Crown Prince picked a fight with me again. If it weren’t for my mother’s Concubine, the Crown Prince might have whipped me publicly like he did to the Seventh Imperial Little Brother!”

The original owner adored Prince Liang, treating him as the most important person in her life.

Upon hearing that he was humiliated by the Crown Prince, she naturally shared his hatred and resentment, ”The Crown Prince is truly out of line. Even though he is the Crown Prince, he is still your true brother; how could he—”

As she spoke, the original owner began to harbour resentment towards the Crown Prince.

Prince Liang continued to embellish the story and even deliberately created some conflicts with the Crown Prince.

One day, Prince Liang was finally punished to kneel by the Crown Prince; with his bruised knees, he came to the original owner pretending to be pitiful.

The original owner felt deeply heartbroken, and her hatred for the Crown Prince skyrocketed.

As a result, the Crown Prince was unlucky; during a perfectly fine horse riding session, he fell off his horse and had his leg broken by a startled horse.

The Crown Prince’s injury was severe, and even the Imperial Physician dared not guarantee whether he would recover in the future.

There began to be Ministers in the Imperial court suggesting the Crown Prince’s deposing, as no Emperor has ever been a cripple throughout history.

The current Emperor loved the Crown Prince, his legitimate son from the first wife, dearly and naturally did not want to depose him easily.

Furthermore, the Crown Prince’s leg injury hadn’t healed yet, so no one could say for certain that he would definitely become lame.

However, both upper and lower ranks in the Imperial court were very pessimistic about the Crown Prince.

And because Prince Liang had a Favored Consort mother and was early on conferred as a Prince, he became a strong competitor to the Crown Prince.
