The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

She really couldn’t imagine how a clever, beautiful child like that would weather the storms if she entered the entertainment industry!

”Oh, Sister Mei, you actually know about fan culture!”

He Tiantian was amused by Yuan Mei’s words and couldn’t help but show a slightly surprised look.

Yuan Mei rolled her eyes without elegance, ”I just joined the military, I haven’t been exiled to a deserted island without information. Besides, I’m not that old; the entertainment Eight Trigrams that young people care about, I’ll take a look too!”

Now is not the past; military personnel seem far from entertainment, far from the Eight Trigrams!

Even if Yuan Mei is older, she was once a flamboyant millennial, not an old-fashioned person.

”Ah, I misspoke, our Sister Mei is a young lady, not some ignorant old auntie!”

He Tiantian deliberately took on a surrender pose, joking playfully.

As she spoke, the atmosphere instantly became cheerful again.

Yuan Mei lost her previous resistance, softly asking, ”Tiantian, do you really want to make films?”

After a brief pause, Yuan Mei couldn’t hold back and expressed her concerns: ”There’s too much gossip in the entertainment circle, and it gets a lot of attention!”

”We’re not money that everyone likes. In the entertainment industry, people’s flaws are deliberately magnified by some, and they frequently cause online outrage—”

Although some departments provide He Tiantian with protection, Yuan Mei feels that it’s better to avoid such troubles in advance if possible.

Once too exposed and overly noticed, even those who have contributed greatly to the country could be attacked.

Online, everyone seems like a god, a moral model, freely commenting on others, making decisions for them.

Generous with others’ resources, they advise others to be good... even though they can’t do it themselves, they demand others do so with confidence.

Especially public figures, they are extraordinarily harsh.

No matter if they’re qualified or not, they want to criticize and comment on others.

Yuan Mei genuinely didn’t want He Tiantian, who should be enjoying honors, to be maliciously targeted by mobs and online rebels.

”The entertainment industry is indeed chaotic, and online opinions are easily misguided. But acting in movies, filming TV shows, is indeed my dream!”

He Tiantian certainly knows Yuan Mei’s worries are not exaggerated, having time-traveled through so many worlds and seen much complexity and treachery in human nature.

She’s very aware of the chaos in the entertainment circle and the madness and extremity of online keyboard warriors.

But she can’t abandon her dream because of ruckus.

Even if she’s not a superstar, He Tiantian has never lacked malicious comments.

As long as she holds her moral bottom line, doesn’t do unethical things, haters can’t truly hurt her.

Besides, she has National Daddy above her.

The authorities wouldn’t stand idly by, watching her get bullied, even if they can’t openly support her.

She’s not trying to dominate the entertainment circle or making excessive demands.

She just wants to make movies and experience different lives through the camera.

He Tiantian believes that National Daddy will certainly help fulfill her wishes and protect her to the utmost extent!

Hehehe, she’s a national treasure-level genius girl.

He Tiantian smugly felt proud inwardly, but her face was full of determination, ”No matter what, I want to give it a try!”

Yuan Mei saw He Tiantian like this and couldn’t persuade her further.

After dinner, back at the courtyard, Yuan Mei took out her phone and reported to the leader.

Leader:...

She really is getting old, a bit out of touch with the kids’ ideas.

But, pondering over it, the leader thoroughly understood—

Who in life doesn’t care about achievements and fame?

The older generation of researchers in the past hid their identities, willingly sacrificed, some couldn’t have their achievements revealed until death;

Now still, some fields need secrecy.

Yet, changing the approach, letting someone live under the spotlight and enjoy a different kind of flowers and applause doesn’t seem impossible.

He Tiantian is still a child, they shouldn’t be too harsh.

Furthermore, thinking from another angle, being an actor, becoming a superstar isn’t entirely a bad thing.

”Tiantian’s identity really needs to be kept secret, but as the ancients said, ’the greatest hermit can hide in the busiest place’!”

Guess even those fifty thousand couldn’t imagine, a brilliant actress shining in the entertainment circle also has the identity of a scientist who developed artificial intelligence and Genetic Enhancement Liquid.
