The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

W·H·F?!

Overthrow the Empress Dowager?

Has this Dog Coin system gone crazy?

Does it know who the Empress Dowager He is, and mistake her for an ordinary ”mother-in-law”, actually asking her, a mere ”daughter-in-law”, to overthrow the other?

The Empress Dowager He is the dignified Regent Empress Dowager, she may not hold sway over all the Imperial court, but she is indeed a significant figure.

And she, Zheng Nianer, is just a consort in the harem, not even the Empress!

Though favored, no matter how favored, she cannot step out of the harem, let alone confront the Empress Dowager He head-on!

Ha, she really wants to ask the system: We have no grudges, why are you doing this to me?

This is not letting her do a task, it is obviously sending her to her death.

”The system doesn’t want to harm you——”

The Palace Fighting System sensed Zheng Nianer’s strong emotional fluctuations, and there was an unnatural tone in the mechanical voice.

”Dear! Isn’t this harming me? Sending me, a person of lower status and seniority, to ’overthrow’ a Superior?!”

Zheng Nianer really couldn’t hold back.

This rogue system, it let her flirt with the Emperor, slap the Empress’s face, scheme against the concubines, she was unwilling but forced to comply anyway.

Moreover, these tasks were disgusting and awkward, yet they were still doable!

But now, the Palace Fighting System suddenly set up a ’suicidal’ task, for heaven’s sake, if Zheng Nianer obediently went to do it, that would be downright foolish.

”Dear! It’s not like you’ll do the task for nothing, if successful, you will be rewarded with a Bone Marrow Cleansing Pill. You know, this is a reward only for the Palace Fighting Champion!”

”Dear dear! If you just overthrow the Empress Dowager He, you can receive such an ultimate prize!”

The Palace Fighting System changed from its usual domineering and cold demeanor, starting to act cute towards Zheng Nianer.

It even took out the so-called ”ultimate award”.

Little did it know, the more enthusiastic it became, the more worried Zheng Nianer got—either the system is stirring up trouble, or it’s targeting me! Danger! Danger!

Zheng Nianer was filled with resistance, but she also knew she couldn’t truly refuse the Palace Fighting System.

She took deep breaths several times, calming her agitated mood, trying to reason with the Palace Fighting System——

”System! System Father! It’s not that I don’t want to do the task, but this task is too difficult!”

”Let alone me, a favored Noble Consort, even Emperor Yongcheng would not dare say ’overthrow the Empress Dowager He’!”

”Besides, even if the Empress Dowager He is a regent, just because she is the Emperor’s biological mother, there’s no one in the entire Dayuan Dynasty who dares to ’defy’ her!”

The Emperor wouldn’t dare, let alone Zheng Nianer, a favored consort!

”...really, system, this task is too absurd, do you think the Empress Dowager He is the Empress Dowager Liu.”

”Ugh, even Empress Dowager Liu, though she isn’t the Emperor’s biological mother, and the Emperor once suspected her of mistreating his birth mother, he still didn’t dare defy, let alone speak of ’overthrow’.”

Zheng Nianer shook her head vigorously, she absolutely didn’t dare to face the Empress Dowager He directly!

She didn’t dare treat such a big figure as the Empress Dowager He as a task target.

”...” The Palace Fighting System was silent for a moment, and suddenly it switched back to its cold mechanical voice, ”Task failure will be punished by Thunder Strike, once a day!”

Damn it!

The Palace Fighting System has really gone mad!

Thunder Strike punishment, and, and damn it, once every day!

This is meant to strike her Zheng Nianer dead.

”Host, the system never intended to kill you, but the Empress Dowager He poses a severe threat to the system, if she is not overthrown, the system will suffer severe damage, and you, bound to the system, will also face a soul scattering fate!”

The Palace Fighting System was truly anxious, directly ”came clean” with Zheng Nianer.

Zheng Nianer: ...

Goddamn, what’s this situation?

Doing the task, equals to directly seeking death.

Not doing the task, or failing the task, means being struck to death by lightning!

This bastard system, it leaves her no way out at all.

”There’s still a glimmer of hope!”

The Palace Fighting System didn’t want to really push Zheng Nianer to the corner, it softened its tone, gently encouraged: ”Host, you are so clever, think it through, you can always come up with a good plan!”

”The Empress Dowager He indeed holds power, but after all, she is a woman, and her relationship with Emperor Yongcheng is indifferent, whereas you, are indeed quite advantageous.”

”Just like you mentioned about Empress Dowager Liu, wasn’t her relationship with her adopted son Emperor Renzong almost turning them into enemies?”

Zheng Nianer squinted her eyes, though her heart was still resistant, she began to carefully consider the system’s words.
