The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 765: Chapter 306: Snatched the Female Lead’s Opportunity (Part 4)

”Hello, Teacher He, I’m a makeup artist, my name is Meng Yuyao.”

Arriving at the photo studio, the makeup artist invited by Li Xinhua, carrying her makeup case, greeted He Tiantian with a bright smile.

In this context, ”Teacher” isn’t a literal occupation but a polite title used within the circle for artists, not necessarily a sign of absolute respect, but more of a courtesy.

After all, calling someone directly by their name isn’t very nice, but calling someone ’Miss’ would be rude.

Better to use ”Teacher,” a respectful nod both ways—good for me, good for you. The artists don’t fuss and the staff don’t feel too stifled.

He Tiantian, only twenty years old and still a student herself, knew she had to follow these necessary rules upon entering this circle.

Hearing someone call her ”Teacher He,” He Tiantian felt a bit uncomfortable, but she still managed to smile and prepared to greet the person.

However, when she saw the makeup artist named Meng Yuyao, she was completely stunned.

This person... How could she look exactly like the one from her dreams?

Even the name was the same!

”Teacher He? Teacher He?!” Seeing that He Tiantian wasn’t responding, just staring directly at her, Meng Yuyao got somewhat flustered.

She was still a senior in college and had just entered the makeup profession because she liked it.

Having access to a top agent like Li Xinhua was also thanks to some family connections.

Today was her first official job doing makeup and she was somewhat nervous.

Seeing He Tiantian staring at her that way, she subconsciously felt something might be wrong with her.

Or maybe this little star named He Tiantian thought she was too young, not professional enough?!

”Teacher He, do you have any specific requirements for the makeup? Do you have any history of skin allergies?”

Meng Yuyao, enduring her unease, cautiously asked He Tiantian.

He Tiantian snapped out of it and realized she had spaced out.

She quickly smiled awkwardly, ”No! I don’t have any personal requirements, whatever style the magazine wants!”

He Tiantian secretly stored her suspicions, tried to calm herself, and started working.

Seeing that He Tiantian’s expression eased, Meng Yuyao felt more relaxed; she seemed easy to get along with.

On the other side, Li Xinhua, called Sister Hua, had finished discussing with the magazine and solidified the theme and style of the shoot, chosen the outfits, and then came back to convey the requirements to Meng Yuyao.

”This time it’s a sweet style, try to make our Tiantian look as cute as possible!” said Li Xinhua.

”Okay, Uncle Li!” Meng Yuyao obediently agreed.

Hearing the title ”Uncle,” Li Xinhua’s mouth twitched.

He was only in his thirties this year, even a year younger than Fu Jinyan, whom fans sob to call Brother Fu.

Yet he was ”Uncle Li” while the other was ”Brother Fu.”

Tsk, life’s just not fair!

Meng Yuyao would call Li Xinhua uncle not just because of the age difference, but also because Meng Yuyao’s aunt was an old classmate of Li Xinhua.

It was also because of this connection that Meng Yuyao, a newbie in the makeup profession, was able to skip being an assistant and go straight to doing makeup independently for artists.

Naturally, Meng Yuyao’s skills were quite good, and her prices were low enough; she even gave a friendly discount!

He Tiantian, still a newcomer, usually did her own makeup or relied on a communal makeup artist.

Having a dedicated makeup artist, even if it was just for practice, meant that Li Xinhua, the agent, placed great importance on her!

Li Xinhua finished giving his instructions and stepped aside.

He browsed his phone, keeping the communication ongoing and timely while occasionally glancing over.

Meng Yuyao adjusted her breathing, picked up the tools, and started applying makeup on He Tiantian slowly.

It had to be said, He Tiantian really had great skin.

Young, and the condition of her skin was superb.

No creased foundation lines, no dullness, spots, or large pores.

Her whole face was glowingly white, tender and smooth, except for a fine layer of fuzz, not a pore in sight.

Her features were delicate; she only needed a slight touch on the eyebrows, hardly requiring much coverage.

This was such an easy task, her first official makeup session on an artist, and to encounter such a perfect base, it was going too smoothly!

Meng Yuyao became more confident as she continued, her earlier nervousness and tension vanished, replaced by an innate sincerity and professionalism.

While lifting her head to fix her eyeliner, He Tiantian subtly scrutinized Meng Yuyao.

Why wasn’t it straightforward?
