The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 753: Chapter 302 Awakening

Because of the words ”guaranteed admission,” High School Grade 2 Class 7, and even the entire County First Middle School, were truly bustling for a while.

However, with Gao Xiang’s departure, the fervor had gradually subsided.

After all, those with guaranteed admission qualifications were really just a minority, and many more students still had to go through the college entrance examination to advance to higher levels of education.

Rumors about Zhou Zixuan transferring to another school were also quickly fading in the class, but someone saw that over the weekend, Mr. Zhou and Mrs. Zhou drove to the Provincial City.

But, there was no result.

During class, Zhou Zixuan felt uncomfortable as the classmates around her whispered to each other.

At one point during the break, people were chattering about something. In reality, they might not have been discussing Zhou Zixuan, but she couldn’t help feeling paranoid, suspecting everyone’s motives.

However, what puzzled He Tiantian was that Zhou Zixuan didn’t confront the two girls but instead ran up to her, He Tiantian.

”He Tiantian, you’re quite pleased with yourself, aren’t you? Hmph, I tell you, I, Zhou Zixuan, will never lose to you!”

After saying this baffling statement, Zhou Zixuan ran back to her seat and began sobbing into her desk.

The classmates in the room, not understanding the situation, thought that He Tiantian and Zhou Zixuan had had a verbal altercation that had led to Zhou Zixuan crying.

Everyone started giving He Tiantian looks that were either inquiring or accusing.

He Tiantian...

This utterly inexplicable blame, of course, was not something He Tiantian would accept. She stood up, walked over to Zhou Zixuan’s desk, and gently tapped on the table.

Zhou Zixuan lifted her head, revealing a tearstained face.

”Zhou Zixuan, can you explain what ’I’m quite pleased’ means? Also, we are at school, not on some mediation show like ’XX Help’. There’s absolutely no stupid logic here that whoever cries is right or whoever is strong deserves it!”

He Tiantian spoke very bluntly, even with distinct disdain, ”You run up to me out of nowhere, blabber some nonsensical things, and then run back here to cry.”

”People with brains would at least ask about the situation before making a judgment.”

”Those without brains would think I have bullied you.”

”Zhou Zixuan, could you please talk? You’re lying here crying; what does this have to do with me?”

With these words, He Tiantian also criticized some classmates who suspected He Tiantian of bullying without knowing the facts.

These people wouldn’t readily admit to their assumptions but reacted uncomfortably and tried to play peacemakers.

”Hey, He Tiantian, we’re all classmates, why be so aggressive?”

”Exactly, Zhou Zixuan is already pitiful enough; why do you keep bullying her?”

He Tiantian scoffed, glancing at the few classmates trying to smooth things over, ”Please, it’s 2022 already, we’re all post-00s; how can there still be such moral blackmail?”

After scolding her classmates, He Tiantian looked at Zhou Zixuan again, ”Zhou Zixuan, have I bullied you? And can you stop crying like a ’Little White Flower’? Everyone goes online and watches short videos; the clichés of ’Lotus Flower’, ’Green Tea B****’, have all been overdone by those internet celebrities, okay?”

Pfft!

Zhou Zixuen couldn’t hold back and laughed out loud.

A few boys who weren’t sucking up to the ”Little Talented Girl” also couldn’t help but snicker.

It must be said, Zhou Zixuan’s recent act did somewhat resemble those internet skits.

Seeming weak and unable to fend for herself, appearing pitiful as if bullied, not saying a word and just sobbing, then prompting others to step in to defend her.

Tch!

Acting like they’re in some melodramatic skit.

Hearing some irritating laughter, Zhou Zixuan felt even more humiliated, and the tears that had just stopped threatened to start flowing again.

He Tiantian pressed further, ”Zhou Zixuan, have you become mute? Can you say something? Everyone in class is watching. If you really think I’ve bullied you, please speak up so they can ’uphold justice’ for you?”

Zhou Zixuan...

This was not going as she had imagined.

Originally, she thought that by making things vague, He Tiantian would be condemned by the classmates.

The one being talked about and laughed at would have been He Tiantian.

But what happened? He Tiantian, so brazenly, made her confess.

She couldn’t say ”you just bullied me,” as once she did, it would be easy to be caught in her own trap.

Being disproved would really hurt.

Zhou Zixuan couldn’t be sure, when she had previously approached He Tiantian boldly, whether He Tiantian had recorded or nearby classmates had heard.
