The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 598: Chapter 245: System Calls Me to Save the Day (Part 2)

”Tiantian, such remedial missions don’t have many requirements; you just need to maintain the stability of the Small World and prevent it from completely collapsing!”

”Moreover, the rewards for the mission are quite substantial; they’re rated at a three-star level, starting at 6 points.”

”There are also achievement points, and generous tips from the readers, which you won’t miss out on!”

”Tiantian, you are one of the best new writers out there; even the toughest missions are no trouble for you!”

”This time, you really don’t need to rigidly maintain the villain persona; you can play it by ear! Tiantian, this kind of mission world is practically a vacation for you!”

Student Xiao D was earnestly persuading deep within the sea of consciousness.

However, He Tiantian wasn’t easily convinced. The more insistent Student Xiao D became, the clearer it was that the situation was urgent.

Under such urgency—

Firstly, the mission is probably tricky, and many writers don’t want to take it on.

Secondly, the other party is very desperate. Under such circumstances, she has the opportunity to set terms.

He Tiantian didn’t fear challenges; to tell the truth, she was rather curious.

She was surprised that there were such missions to save the day.

She was even more curious about what the ”Reverse” writer had done to bring the fictional world to the brink of collapse.

Or perhaps, it wasn’t a significant issue with the writer but that something unforeseen happened in the fiction world, leading to a series of intractable problems.

It forced the system to find another writer to clean up the mess.

He Tiantian’s mind was racing, piecing together these clues; she slowly shook her head, ”Not interested!”

”I’ve said it before, I want to settle down in reality, to learn. Besides, I have a new plan that I really want to try out!”

Some of what He Tiantian said was not entirely a lie.

After fighting with Duan Yong, He Tiantian did have a plan, and she wanted to seriously hone it.

But, this plan wasn’t urgent. She could take on another mission while waiting.

The problem was, it wasn’t He Tiantian who was in a rush but Student Xiao D.

He Tiantian could very well take advantage of the situation, ahem, that is, grab the opportunity to get some extra benefits.

”What plan? Tiantian, just take on the mission. Whatever you want, the system will reward it. Why bother studying hard in reality?”

Student Xiao D became more anxious upon hearing He Tiantian’s lack of interest in the ”rescue” mission, ”Tiantian, really, this mission is quite a good one.”

Yet, He Tiantian continued to shake her head, ”Student Xiao D, we’re close buddies. If it was a personal problem of yours, I would definitely help you out!”

”But now, it’s a system issue. That’s an official matter. There are contractual obligations, and I can’t neglect my own plans just to help the system!”

He Tiantian was very firm in her stance; Student Xiao D was touched upon hearing this.

Sob, Tiantian really is a good buddy; listen to her speak, she puts me, Student Xiao D, even above the system in her heart.

Student Xiao D was delighted but also truly worried.

However, this time He Tiantian didn’t need to initiate a negotiation, ahem, that is, make a request. Student Xiao D was proactive, ”Tiantian, don’t rush your refusal!”

”How about this, I’ll go and have a good talk with the system, to see if I can secure you an extra reward!”

Without waiting for He Tiantian to respond, Student Xiao D eagerly went off to negotiate with the system.

He Tiantian: ... Ugh, such a kind-hearted Student Xiao D, always taking advantage of him seems a bit unkind, doesn’t it.

Oh well, let it be this time; next time, cough, we’ll see about next time.

He Tiantian waited leisurely; it took a good while before Student Xiao D came back somewhat disheveled.

Despite its disarrayed fur, its spirits were high, ”Tiantian, the system agreed! Haha, the system said, as long as you successfully complete this remedial mission, in addition to the usual rewards, you’ll get an extra chance to select your script!”

He Tiantian’s eyes sparkled; oh wow, that was a nice reward.

What He Tiantian disliked the most about the system was that she couldn’t choose the fictional worlds she time-traveled to.

She was always forced into a bunch of villain scripts; even though she could complete the tasks, the process was too frustrating!

He Tiantian didn’t want to be so passive, nor did she want to be forced into the role of the villain.

Sure, He Tiantian could choose her scripts, but she had to work on raising her level.
