The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 423: Chapter 186: Second Entry into the Martial World (Part 6)_3

The three elders all knew that if the Beggar Gang couldn’t timely elect a Martial Arts skilled, formidable Gang Leader, they might lose their status as the top gang in the world.

Although Poison Spider He Yutian had a bad reputation, she had never actually done anything evil.

She went to the Beggar Gang Headquarters voluntarily to treat the injuries of the three elders who got injured alongside the Old Sect Leader.

Her heart was with the Beggar Gang, and she possessed a chivalrous heart, basically meeting the conditions of the Beggar Gang Leader—

First, one must have good Martial Arts skills; He Tiantian, check!

Second, one must have greatly contributed to the Beggar Gang; He Tiantian barely met the standard.

The only exception was that she was a woman.

However, people in the Martial World usually didn’t fuss over minor details.

Men could be Gang Leaders, and women could also become great heroes.

As the biggest gang in the Central Plains, the Beggar Gang didn’t have only male disciples; there were also female beggars.

Thus, gender didn’t seem to be a significant barrier.

The three elders and a few squad leaders, He Tiantian won a small portion of their support.

However, Gongsun He and his supporters were the most vehemently opposed.

He Tiantian stood on the high platform, looking down, ”Vice Sect Leader Gongsun, I have never harmed anyone, yet you call me a scourge of the Martial World, a Poison Spider!”

”And you often lurk around Ghost Doctor Valley, having close dealings with Ghost Doctor Yan Boqian. I speak the truth, yet you accuse me of defamation!”

”Ha, it seems you hold the monopoly on reason in this world!”

Gongsun He angrily retorted, ”Witch, you, you talk nonsense!”

He Tiantian curved her lips at Quan Guanqing, ”Although the Ghost Doctor is dead, there are still some attendants in Ghost Doctor Valley who must have seen you there!”

”I can summon these attendants, and we can confront each other face to face!”

”Besides, the Beggar Gang is the biggest gang in the Central Plains Martial Arts; we are all Martial Artists, not as cunning as a strategist like you!”

”I, He Yutian, still stand by the principle that the Beggar Gang respects strength!”

”The Dog Beating Stick is in my hands, and whoever disapproves can come up and fight me directly!”

”The Beggar Gang Leader is appointed through combat, not through mere words!”

He Tiantian’s words were quite impolite; it was almost as if she pointed directly at Gongsun He’s nose, scolding him for being a hypocritical coward, always whining but never daring to actually fight.

Yet, her ”crude” manner exactly suited the tastes of the Beggar Gang’s disciples.

Right, they were all people of the Martial World; if they disagree, they should fight, not just talk big.

Some time ago, the Old Sect Leader responded to the call from Jade Villa and led the disciples to defend the borders.

Unexpectedly, they were ambushed and got injured, and the Beggar Gang lost the Dog Beating Stick; several elders even mistakenly thought it was taken by the Hulu or someone from the Martial Arts Alliance Army who coveted it.

Now, Mrs. Ya, the Poison Spider, brought out the Dog Beating Stick.

Well, that should also count as one of He Yutian’s achievements. At least she retrieved the Beggar Gang’s treasured artifact!

Gongsun He: ...This is what they call making a wedding dress for someone else.

It was clear he had poisoned the Old Sect Leader and seized the opportunity to steal the Dog Beating Stick.

Yet, He Yutian took it from him.

But these truths, Gongsun He couldn’t disclose.

If he said, ”The Dog Beating Stick was snatched from my hands by the Poison Spider!”

Then, the question arose; since he had the Dog Beating Stick, why didn’t he speak up?

Instead, he pretended to know nothing, even discussing with the elders about how to find the Dog Beating Stick?!

”Vice Sect Leader Gongsun, if you’re not satisfied, why not come up here and fight me?”

Gongsun He bit his teeth and didn’t speak. He Tiantian didn’t let him off, swinging the glowing green Dog Beating Stick, performing a stick trick, directing it straight at Quan Guanqing.

”Ah, Vice Sect Leader Gongsun, Mrs. Ya was right, the Beggar Gang respects strength!”

”Yes, yes, the Dog Beating Stick is in Heroine He’s hands. Whoever wants to snatch it, just come up!”

”I, I’ll give it a try!”

From the crowd emerged a Squad Leader, who leapt onto the platform.

”Heroine He, please!”

”Squad Leader Seo, please!”

They bowed to each other, and then they began to take their stances.

The Squad Leader had learned the Beggar Gang’s unique skill, Dragon Subduing Palm, and started with a fierce offensive.

But He Tiantian remained calm, lifting the Dog Beating Stick and responding to the attacks.

”Stick Dog’s Head!”

”Hit Dog’s back diagonally!”

”Blocking Dog in the Road!”

”Stick Picks Dog!”

He Tiantian, as the daughter of the leader of the ”New Beggar Gang” in the previous Martial World, was naturally proficient with the Dog Beating Stick Technique.

With a full set of Dog Beating Stick Technique against three or four moves of the Dragon Subduing Palm, He Tiantian absolutely dominated Squad Leader Seo.

The three elders and several other older squad leaders were completely dumbfounded.
