The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 402: Chapter 179: Tormented Female Lead’s Aunt (Seventeen)_2

Although it wasn’t as fantastical as a predetermined fate, she just felt that if she didn’t become stronger, she was certain to encounter misfortune.

”Sister Sitian, no matter who it’s for, you’ve helped me grow, helped me become stronger, and I am truly grateful to you!”

Su Muxue was very clear-headed, and she especially focused on outcomes.

As always, no matter why others helped her, as long as she benefited, she ought to be thankful.

”You don’t think I’m exploiting you, and that’s good!”

He Tiantian said openly, ”Of course, if we talk about exploitation, it wouldn’t be too far-fetched. After all, I’m not without desires. I’m really the most selfish person!”

Su Muxue: ...

”Sister Sitian, I know your kindness, you don’t need to talk so badly about yourself!”

She had not known Sister Sitian for just one day; was there still anything about Sister Sitian she didn’t understand?

Exaggeration aside, at this moment, ”He Sitian” as a sister and best friend, was the most important person in Su Muxue’s mind.

Her importance even exceeded that of her own uncle, Zhao Yongkang.

Speaking of Zhao Yongkang, Su Muxue had once again pleaded with He Tiantian.

That was on the first day she arrived at Nanshan Villa, after Su Muxue had subdued Leng Mo, temporarily turning off the signal blocker Leng Mo’s people had set up.

She made a phone call to He Tiantian, ”...that’s how it is, Sister Sitian, I, I really didn’t expect my uncle to do such things.”

Su Muxue was no saint, but she couldn’t justify helping her relatives over justice without principles.

Her kindness and integrity told her that even if her little uncle was her only remaining relative, she couldn’t shield and indulge him.

Su Muxue also thought that exposing what happened in the past was not about harming Zhao Yongkang.

On the contrary, Su Muxue was saving him.

Leng Mo had already turned the incident into a leverage he could use to threaten Zhao Yongkang at any time and had forced him to do things he didn’t want to do and shouldn’t have done.

Right now, it was only the theft of He Group’s trade secrets and selling his own niece to a lecher, but if this issue wasn’t thoroughly eradicated, Leng Mo would continue his extortion.

It wouldn’t be impossible for Zhao Yongkang to be forced into committing murder or arson in the future.

To prevent her uncle from committing greater, irreparable sins and to bring justice to the victims, Su Muxue felt she must expose the affair.

”Alright, I understand your intentions! I’ll order someone to start investigating right away!”

After listening to Su Muxue, He Tiantian increasingly admired this girl’s character and temperament.

”Honors obtained by theft are tainted no matter how significant. That newcomer award trophy should belong to its rightful owner, I cannot shield him just because he’s my uncle.”

Su Muxue said earnestly.

As she spoke, it seemed she thought of something and gave a self-mocking laugh, ”Of course, I’m not just trying to save him. I also want revenge!”

He Tiantian was taken aback for a moment, then said, ”Of course you should take revenge. He even sold you to Leng Mo, after over a decade of affection, familial ties, he has already severed them all by his own hand!”

In the current society, innocence is no longer the most crucial matter for a girl.

But for Su Muxue, her uncle delivering his own niece to the bed of a lecher had profoundly hurt her.

It shattered the image Zhao Yongkang had in Su Muxue’s mind and completely destroyed her trust and affection for her relatives.

Fortunately, Su Muxue was strong inside and had learned self-defense martial arts early on, otherwise... her life would have been ruined by Zhao Yongkang.

Now, she’s just revealing Zhao Yongkang’s past wrongdoings, not spreading rumors or slandering, and Su Muxue still says she’s taking revenge.

Sigh, this girl, He Tiantian was growing fonder of her by the day.

Liking her so much, and being the only person who could stand up to the male lead, allowing He Tiantian to change her own and her family’s destiny.

He Tiantian would only become closer to her, becoming her family without blood ties.

Since they were family, she would do everything in her power to help her.

Of course, while she’s at it, sorting out Zhao Yongkang would also avenge the original owner.

He Tiantian had money and connections, when she really strived to investigate something, even if several years had passed and many pieces of evidence had already been destroyed, she still managed to find some clues.

Then, following these leads carefully to verify them, they really found evidence of Zhao Yongkang plagiarizing others’ work.

And that genius painter Cheng Chen, his suicide indeed had something to do with Zhao Yongkang.

Cheng Chen came from a single-parent family, his dad, thinking of him as a ”little fool,” had outright abandoned him and his mother.
