The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 416: Chapter 184: Second Entry into the Martial World (Part 4)_2

He Yutian was not so innocent in his death either.

He Tiantian felt that a saying on the internet made a lot of sense, ”One cannot ignore the perpetrator’s crimes just because the victim is not perfect.”

Indeed, He Yutian poisoned Chai Ling, but isn’t the Ghost Doctor who treated He Yutian as a Medicine Man and force-fed her poison even more despicable?

Student Xiao D: ...

Although Xiao D felt that something about what He Tiantian said wasn’t quite right, it just couldn’t think of a reason to refute her.

After a moment of silence, Student Xiao D remembered other sins of the Poison Spider: ”She defamed Pei Jinghou, causing him to become the public enemy of the Central Plains Martial Arts!”

He Tiantian curved the corners of her lips, ”Chai Fengyi indeed was a princess from the Previous Dynasty, and she always pressured Pei Jinghou into rebelling, even colluding with the Hulu... These were not fabrications out of thin air by the Poison Spider.”

”But, but she couldn’t just reveal such information for no reason, Chai Fengyi wanted to restore the Previous Dynasty, and Pei Jinghou never agreed!”

”Who can guarantee that?! Student Xiao D, do you dare to guarantee that Pei Jinghou wouldn’t be coerced by filial piety?”

”Fine, he is the male lead with moral integrity, he won’t conspire, he won’t collude with the enemy, but as long as Chai Fengyi remains the Grand Madam of Jade Villa, Pei Jinghou can’t be cleared of suspicion!”

Pei Jinghou disagreed with his mother’s proposals, but he didn’t take any action either.

It was very likely that Chai Fengyi could use the fact that her son was the Martial Arts Alliance Hierarch, or misuse the power of Jade Villa, to secretly cause trouble.

One day, the ”truth” would come to light for the whole world to see.

Pei Jinghou’s ending would be even more tragic.

Having a mother who would sacrifice her own son, Pei Jinghou could be branded a traitor and a disgrace, without doing anything!

The Poison Spider, He Yutian, exposed Chai Fengyi’s identity in advance, driving Pei Jinghou away from the Central Plains.

Jade Villa thus fell apart.

Without supporters and financial resources, Chai Fengyi’s ambition to restore the Previous Dynasty came to nothing.

In the end, she could only retreat to a temple for quiet contemplation.

Uh, well, for Chai Fengyi, becoming a nun or something was certainly a tragic end.

But from another perspective, she could be considered to have achieved enlightenment and met a good end!

Finally, with Pei Jinghou’s noble sacrifice, although Chai Fengyi’s ending was not mentioned in the book, one can guess—

With a heroic son like that, her latter half of life shouldn’t be too bad!

How ironic!

Even an outsider like He Tiantian felt indignant, the Poison Spider, who may not have been as evil as Chai Fengyi, met with a far more tragic fate.

To be labeled ”deserved it” and ”a bad person needs another bad person to grind them down” after death, could the Poison Spider He Yutian be content with that?

”...She, she!”

Student Xiao D was getting anxious, with its processor humming loudly.

He Tiantian seemed to quite enjoy the flustered state of Student Xiao D.

Deep inside Xiao D’s core, the panic intensified, Tian Tian, ah, your way of thinking is very dangerous.

It’s no longer just a half-step away from becoming a villain; you’ve stepped right into the rank of a villain.

”...Why whitewash! I, as the writer, forcefully changed He Yutian’s malicious characterization into a reluctant one, that is a betrayal of the original character’s wishes.”

Since there is no task targeting characters in the story this time, only to develop a new storyline, then He Tiantian can play it by ear.

And since she time-traveled into the Poison Spider He Yutian, she had a karmic connection with this character, so it was only logical to fulfill her wishes.

Of course, for the killings He Yutian once committed, He Tiantian would also try to make amends as much as possible.

”So, Student Xiao D, I’ve decided, I’m not whitewashing this story, the Poison Spider is a sneaky, vicious, vengeful woman with a twisted mindset!”

Student Xiao D couldn’t stand He Tiantian’s ”I’m a proud villain” demeanor.

After some thought, it suddenly said, ”He Yutian indeed had some extenuating circumstances. For example, she was originally just an ordinary farmer’s daughter, discovered by the Ghost Doctor, taken to Ghost Doctor Valley, and forced to imbibe all sorts of strange Medicine Soups every day, and that’s what led her to—”

Originally a weak and innocent victim, constantly poisoned and tested with medicines, she suffered tremendous torment both physically and mentally, ultimately leading to a warped psyche, even turning evil!

Though hateful, she is also pitiable!

He Tiantian smiled mysteriously: ”Student Xiao D, you’re wrong! He Yutian didn’t go to Ghost Doctor Valley because she had no choice; she willingly asked to follow the Ghost Doctor!”

While bantering with Student Xiao D, He Tiantian didn’t forget to integrate the original host’s memories.

So, He Tiantian was very clear about all of the original host’s past.

”Born to a farming family, yet with outstanding beauty, she wasn’t willing to be buried in the obscurity of rural life!”
