Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 1475: Chapter 1489: Recruit Miss An

Xiao Xue is straightforward, and this topic quickly passed.

The performance lasted about an hour, and after it ended, An Ran originally planned to return to school earlier, but unexpectedly Dongfang Ming came directly to their table after coming off the stage.

”Miss An, thank you for your singing, which made our band’s performance more perfect. To express our gratitude, could we invite you to our private room to celebrate the success of the performance with our band members?”

”That’s not necessary, right?” An Ran stood up, waving her hands repeatedly, ”It was just a joke between Xiao Xue and me, it’s already lucky that we didn’t ruin Brother Ming’s show.”

”How could that be? Didn’t you see how enthusiastic the audience was? Come on, the other band members are eager to meet you,” Dongfang Ming invited again.

”It’s really late, Brother Ming, the school dormitory will close,” Zheng Kai noticed Dongfang Ming repeatedly inviting, and An Ran seemed awkward, so he stepped forward and said.

”Zheng Kai, why are you being such a buzzkill? The school dormitory closes at 10:30, and it’s not even nine o’clock yet. We can play for another hour and then go back, it’s the same.”

As Xiao Xue spoke, she already went to pull An Ran and Xiao Xiao, ”Come on, come on, Brother Ming is treating, let’s party to our heart’s content.”

The group was pulled into a VIP room set on the second floor of the bar.

Arriving at the door of room 3, Dongfang Ming wrapped one arm around Xiao Xue and pushed the door open with the other.

Inside the room, three men were lazily leaning on the sofa, either playing mobile games or drinking, they were the other three members of the band.

Seeing An Ran and the others enter, the three lifted their heads and waved casually as a form of greeting.

Dongfang Ming kicked away the drummer’s legs which were crossed on the small table in front, while walking inside, introduced to the people behind, ”Drummer Long, bassist Qu, keyboard player Ren Hua.”

Xiao Xue was already familiar with each person individually, and after Dongfang Ming finished introducing his side, Xiao Xue introduced in turn, ”Xiao Xiao, Feng Hui Ning, Zheng Kai, and look, An Ran.”

”Miss An, have you studied singing?”

Settling down, the keyboard player Ren Hua was the first to ask.

”No, I’m just singing randomly,” An Ran took the drink Dongfang Ming handed her and thanked him.

”Miss An is too modest. By the way, Brother Ming, since our band is newly formed, why not take Miss An onboard? With her voice, if we hire a professional teacher to guide her, in the future, us brothers could rely on promoting her to release an album.”

Ren Hua’s suggestion was not without reason. In this circle, there are countless large and small bands, and it’s not that easy to stand out, especially for a predominantly male band.

Adding a woman to the mix changes things, and considering An Ran’s unique voice, with his years of experience in the circle, their band could definitely become a dark horse.

”Enough, Miss An is still a student and doesn’t plan to enter this industry. They came to play, so let’s not bring up these matters. Xiao Xue, take your friends to choose some songs.”

Dongfang Ming patted Xiao Xue’s little bottom, indicating for her to entertain An Ran and the others.

He also noticed the group’s initial reservation.

But the awkwardness was only temporary, apart from Dongfang Ming’s mature demeanor despite his young age, the other members were total jokesters.

Bassist Qu lived up to his name, excelling at making girls happy, quickly coming up with jokes and having endless ways to amuse girls, soon everyone in the room loosened up.

An Ran drank too many beverages that night and went to the restroom in between.

Just as she pushed open the restroom door, she saw a woman inside at the sink putting on makeup.
