Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 1464: Chapter 1478: You’ve Been Dropped by Jiawen Entertainment

Before An Sijia could make a call, her agent’s phone call came through.

”Sister Xu,” An Sijia quickly answered the phone, feeling a little excited.

It seems that at critical moments, relationships maintained by mutual benefits are the most reliable. Sister Xu must have seen those reports and is here to discuss countermeasures with her.

”Sister Xu, I was framed in this matter. The new drama I signed up for is a youth idol drama. If these news aren’t handled well, it will affect my image.”

An Sijia suppressed the emotions in her heart, tried to sit up straight, but the pain was so severe that she could only maintain a half-sitting position to analyze the pros and cons of the situation with her agent.

Since the agent is reaching out to her, it means they still believe in her. She doesn’t have to bow down to an agent. Once this issue passes and her drama is released, she will have made a mark in the entertainment circle, and the agent will not underestimate her.

”An Sijia, I’m not here to discuss that matter with you. I’m here to inform you that you’ve been terminated by Jiawen Entertainment. Please come to the company to handle the termination procedures within three working days.”

On the phone, Xu Cong’s voice was cold and indifferent, with a trace of impatience if you listened carefully.

”Impossible.”

Hearing the agent’s words, An Sijia shouted sharply, her entire body trembling slightly with rage, ”I’ve only been with Jiawen Entertainment for six months. How could they terminate me? I told you, I was framed. Your company isn’t investigating the truth and isn’t helping me manage the negative news, but instead is proposing termination. I refuse to accept this. I want to speak to the manager, to the art director.”

”I’m just notifying you according to the manager’s instructions. The termination contract has already been sent to your email. The rest is beyond my job scope. That’s it.”

Without waiting for An Sijia to say more, agent Xu Cong directly hung up the phone.

”Bastards, they’re all bastards,” An Sijia shouted in anger, throwing her phone.

Sun Xuehui, who was beside her, listened clearly to the phone’s content and watched her daughter lose control and throw the phone, tears rolling down.

Her precious daughter of twenty years was ruined by such an old and ugly man, and now the company has terminated her contract.

She doesn’t know what a contract termination from the company entails, but she knows how many artists dream of getting into that entertainment company. Since her daughter joined that company, it brought countless benefits to the An Family.

Now, it’s all over.

”Why are you crying?” An Sijia looked at Sun Xuehui, who couldn’t stop shedding tears, feeling even more irritated, ”You were in the banquet hall all night yesterday. How could such a mishap happen, don’t you know? Did Young Master Sun drink that glass of wine or not?”

The whole night was chaos. After entering the hospital, she was exhausted and fell asleep. Now that she’s awake, An Sijia is beginning to think about where the problem arose.

The waiter was clearly bribed by her. Could someone else have offered a higher price? No, that shouldn’t be it. She had been very discreet about everything, even booking the room with Sun Xuehui’s ID. No one should have known.

When asked about Young Master Sun drinking the wine, there was a moment of avoidance in Sun Xuehui’s eyes. She indeed saw Young Master Sun pick up the wine, but whether he drank it or not, she really didn’t see.

An Sijia kept staring at her, and even though it was just a fleeting moment, she caught her guilty conscience and clenched her fists involuntarily.

”That glass of wine wasn’t taken by Young Master Sun, it was drunk by that old bastard?”

An Sijia was not an inexperienced young girl. She knew well what an old man was capable of, and that old bastard was clearly on drugs.
