Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 894: Chapter 904: No One Bullied Me

Lin Junyang came back carrying clothes, and through the ward door, he saw the empty hospital bed. He hurriedly pushed open the door, and upon seeing the figure by the window, his heart that had jumped to his throat settled back into his chest.

”You silly woman, can’t you stop making people worry? Why are you standing by the window catching a cold instead of lying in bed properly?”

Lin Junyang set down the bag in his hand, walked up to the window, and bent over to lift the girl horizontally because he saw that Xiao Xiao was once again barefoot on the floor.

”If you don’t have shoes, don’t run around. What if you catch a cold?”

Lin Junyang couldn’t help but complain again. Seeing the girl still not responding, he felt something was off. Usually, at this time, wouldn’t that woman talk back directly?

He placed the girl on the bed and only then noticed that Xiao Xiao’s eyes were red, looking somewhat pitiful.

Lin Junyang’s eyebrows furrowed even tighter, ”What’s going on? Did those nurses bully you again? This won’t do, I have to go talk to the head nurse. What kind of service attitude is this?”

Saying that, Lin Junyang turned to leave, but as soon as he was about to step forward, someone from behind bumped straight into him, with two slender arms wrapping around his waist.

Lin Junyang felt as if his whole body was electrified, his back straightened up, yet he couldn’t ignore the warm breath and the strength around his waist.

Xiao Xiao didn’t know why she wanted to hug Lin Junyang. Hearing his endless complaints, for the first time, she didn’t want to argue back. Instead, she felt a warmth in her heart, the feeling of being cared for by someone.

Unlike a mother’s nagging, but the same kind of care could be heard.

”Don’t go, no one bullied me.” Xiao Xiao didn’t release her arms, murmuring with a nasal tone.

She just wanted to hug him once, just once, pretending she was delirious from a fever.

Lin Junyang raised his hand, finally landing it on the small hands around his waist, patting them gently, ”Then I’ll ask the nurse if you can be discharged.”

Saying that, he pried open Xiao Xiao’s arms without waiting for a response and strode towards the door, just in an urgent manner, bumping his whole body into the door while opening it.

With a bang, the ward door made a loud noise, as if the force could knock the whole door down, and before the person behind could speak, he had rushed out of the ward again.

Xiao Xiao: ”...”

Is he... alright?

Why does he look so panicked?

Could it be Lin Junyang reacted this way just because she hugged him?

Could Young Master Lin really be flustered from a mere hug by a woman...

With that thought, Xiao Xiao couldn’t help but let out a chuckle, feeling much better as she picked up the bag and started to check out her new clothes.

When Lin Junyang returned to the ward again, he looked at the tightly closed ward door, took two deep breaths, then reached out to push the door open.

Seeing the girl sitting on the bed, looking at the clothes and shoes he bought her with a face full of discontent and even a hint of shame, Lin Junyang casually put a hand in his pocket and pretended to be indifferent, ”Why haven’t you changed into your clothes? I’ve already completed the discharge procedures, we can leave.”

Xiao Xiao glanced up at Lin Junyang, feeling somewhat ashamed, truly, it was the first time another person besides her mom bought her undergarments, and it was a man.

It would have been fine, but the size he bought was so small, was this really for her?

Thinking of the man’s earlier disdain, this was simply a blatant insult.

However, when she noticed the red mark on Lin Junyang’s forehead, Xiao Xiao couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
