Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 853: Chapter 863: Who Is the Organizer?

The call was connected, and Huo Shaohua’s gentle voice came through, ”Mr. An, there is something I originally didn’t want to bother you with, but after some consideration, I thought it was best to let you know, and whether you attend or not is up to you.”

Currently, Wenshan Group is led by Jin Weiliang. Only very major decisions are reported to headquarters for Mu Wanxin or Mu Xingfeng to decide. Normally, company affairs are managed by Huo Shaohua.

At this moment, Huo Shaohua making this call to him probably indicates something that is troubling him.

”Vice President Huo, please go ahead.” Since the call was made to him, it wouldn’t be right not to let him speak. After all, he is the sole shareholder of the Wenshan Group.

”It’s like this, there’s a business reception this weekend. Originally, the company was sending me to attend, but then the organizers specifically invited Mr. An to participate. Naturally, I understand President Mu’s intention, but considering the organizers personally invited you and promised not to reveal your identity, they simply wish for Mr. An to come and enjoy himself.”

Huo Shaohua articulated the organizers’ intentions as delicately as possible. After all, the company has long-standing business relations with the organizers, and as long as it doesn’t interfere with An Ran’s life or studies, he hopes An Ran can attend such events. Such receptions do greatly benefit a person’s growth.

”Who are the organizers?” Nan’an knows that very few people are aware of his identity as a Wenshan Group shareholder, and given how humble the invitation is, they probably understand his identity as well.

”It’s the Lu Family.” Huo Shaohua replied.

As expected, if it’s the Lu Family, An Ran is not surprised.

During the accidental entry into the private room, Lu Zhenting understood his relationship with Mu Xingfeng. Not to mention, there’s also Lu Yi.

”Okay, I got it. Then have a driver come to Longteng Xinyuan to pick me up.” Anyway, Mu Xingfeng wouldn’t return on the weekend, staying home alone would be boring, going out to have fun might be good.

After hanging up the phone, An Ran waved his phone towards Xiao Xiao, ”Let’s hang out this weekend.”

”I’m not going, if you want to go, feel free to go,” Xiao Xiao was beside him when An Ran made the call and heard quite a bit. She deemed such an event unsuitable for her status.

”Why not go? It’s just perfect for unwinding,” An Ran replied, pulling Xiao Xiao towards the stairway, realizing if they didn’t go eat soon, there would probably be no food left in the cafeteria.

”An Ran, Xiao Xiao!”

At the stairway turn, they ran into Lu Yi, just returning from outside. Upon seeing them, Lu Yi called out to them directly, ”You guys haven’t eaten yet? I brought some food back, let’s eat together.”

An Ran noticed a well-dressed man behind Lu Yi, carrying some lunch boxes, and couldn’t help but jest, ”What’s this? Even the Young Master of the Lu Family has times of privilege?”

In his impression, Lu Yi rarely flaunted his status as the Young Master of the Lu Family.

Even when coming to school, whether being picked up or dropped off, he never went further than the school gate.

At school, Lu Yi was approachable, getting along well with classmates, without exploiting his status as the Young Master of the Lu Family to benefit himself.

Currently, the man behind him was clearly either a family bodyguard or a company employee, probably coming to deliver food upon seeing the sudden rain.

Lu Yi smiled slightly, gesturing for both of them to turn back as he said, ”Occasionally using some privilege isn’t a problem, better than starving. I saw you both upstairs just now and noticed that neither of you had eaten. That’s why I asked them to bring food for three.”
