Maybe My Soulmate! (GL)

It has been 4 more days since the day, they had the large battle with such a huge number of beasts as they witnessed the blood sacrifice ability of rank 3 spiritual beasts.

Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing fought against 2300 rank 2 ’tail bone mermaids’ as well as 300 rank 3 ’tail bone mermaids’ out of a total of 5000 beasts under water.

They have already killed 300 rank 3 ones out of 900 as 100 of these were killed by Su Yubing herself.

That’s also when Mo Yuxin witnessed the strange yet majestic energy emanating from Su Yubing which she felt weirdly familiar from the depths of her very soul.

But she didn’t think of it any further as the feeling almost seemed like an illusion and she didn’t want to entertain irrelevant thoughts.

At this time, Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing also opened up their hearts towards each other as the deepest secrets in their hearts were exposed partly between each other.

Though, they didn’t share their secrets but still letting each other know that they each hold a huge secret in their hearts, they both felt relieved as the thought of lying to each other made them very uncomfortable.

Anyway, they both knew that with enough time, they will naturally become completely open with each other and no such secrets would be secrets anymore.

At this time, Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing had already completed killing all the beasts in the water elemental territory within these four days.

Of course, Su Yubing dealt with most of them as Mo Yuxin just watched her going on a rampage and killing any beasts in sight.

In this time, Mo Yuxin also found out that she seemed to have become more and more infatuated with Su Yubing as her slender figure as she fought against those beasts with a slight smile on her face almost made her heart jump out of her chest.

Rather than a trial, it seemed more like they were two old couple who were just on an outing and having a pleasant time in their own world.

If the creators of this place saw them, they would have definitely vomited blood and their eyes would almost pop out of their eye socket. After all, the second condition was simply not something that was meant to be cleared but more of a show to show their unparalleled strength to the younger generation.

Of course Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing wouldn’t care about these things.

Though for some reason, in the midst of the large battle they fought four days ago, the strange cooling energy never appeared again.

Thinking carefully, Mo Yuxin felt that it was after she used her large scale sword strike to eliminate most of the rank 2 beasts and they both felt a large amount of this energy rushing inside their body but after that, even if they killed all the rank 3 beasts, no such energy came appeared again.

Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing weren’t sure as to why that was but they didn’t pay any attention to it as the energy wasn’t of that much use to them.

It was also in these for days that Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing tried to perfect their ’water resisting method’ but for some reason, no matter how hard they tried, they couldn’t make it last indefinitely.

Yes, Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing were definitely not the kind of individuals who would just settle for the second best when they can go for something even higher.

That’s how they thought of perfecting the water resisting method into such a method that would enable them to last under water for almost as long as they want.

Of course, this task wasn’t as each as they thought.

Because, no matter how hard they tried to perfect the usage of spiritual energy and tried create the perfect resisting method, it still wasn’t a method that would last indefinitely. After all, a barrier created by spiritual energy can only run on spiritual energy and they definitely cannot use much of their spiritual energy into the water resisting method, otherwise their mobility and fighting ability would be affected as they would not have much spiritual energy left.

..

..

”How is it? Can you feel anything?” Mo Yuxin asked Su Yubing who opened her eyes as she came out of her meditation state.

”No. The cores cannot withstand the pressure under water for much longer.” Su Yubing said after hearing Mo Yuxin’s question.

She was currently trying to mobilize her spiritual energy to create a few core points on the skin of her body which would act as the pillar that supports her water resisting method.

This was the method they came up with and tried to implement. In theory, as long as they can make it work, their water resisting method would almost be like a small formation that would run with minimal usage of spiritual energy as the cores would act as the power source of this method.

But theory was theory and they couldn’t implement it in real life.

Right now, it has only been half an hour since they killed the last of the beasts but for some reason the gateway to the next trial didn’t appear infront of them as they thought.

They were a little confused but didn’t mind it, instead Su Yubing tried again to implement their previous theory into reality.

But, alas, they failed again.

At this time, they were a little disappointed as their method didn’t work but they weren’t much worried as they themselves can last under water with their normal water resisting method for almost a month as long as they don’t exhaust their spiritual energy.

Of course, Mo Yuxin can last much much longer as her spiritual energy reserve is almost the same as a nascent soul cultivator thanks to her special golden core.

At this time, they both were ready to go to the next trial but the gateway just didn’t appear making them a little confused and concerned.

Mo Yuxin went towards Su Yubing and held her hand quite naturally as Su Yubing’s voice floated into her ears,

”Is something wrong? We have already cleared the trial but why isn’t anything happening?”

Hearing her question, Mo Yuxin couldn’t answer as she herself didn’t know. Though she had a guess in her mind and said to her,

”Maybe, it’s because the trial itself didn’t think that someone could actually clear out the second condition.

After all, even if 5 golden core initial real Cultivator appeared, they wouldn’t be able to kill 900 rank 3 beasts in this dense water where the pressure is multiple times more. Even if they are a one in a million genius, it’s still quite impossible. Even if they have the ’aqua pearl bead’ , they still wouldn’t be able to complete this trial’s second condition.

Anyway, I’m sure the guardian spirit of the trials are thinking of something, so it’s taking them more time.”

Hearing her words, Su Yubing showed an understanding look but she also couldn’t help but be surprised at the thought that they actually killed 900 rank 3 beasts as well as thousands of rank 2 under this dense water within 4 days.

Something like this was unthinkable for her just a weak ago. At that time, she couldn’t even kill a flower thief by herself but within this short time, she has entered perfection foundation building as well as acquiring such a heavenly defying constitution.

She also has enough power to actually kill hundreds of rank 3 beasts all by herself! She has become far more powerful than she expected.

It’s as if the course of life she thought would happen all changed the moment, Mo Yuxin appeared in her life.

Thinking of all this, Su Yubing couldn’t help but take a deep breath as reality of her current situation made her feel as if she was in an illusion.

And all this was possible, only thanks to the person beside her. The woman who suddenly came crashing in her monotonous and dull life, saying with her nervous eyes that she fell in love with her at first sight.

It was truly incredible how she actually believed her words at first mention without any hesitation. It was also true that from the moment she saw her face appearing infront of her hazy eyes as she was drowned in despair for not being able to escape from the flower thief that she felt as if her wounded heart started miraculously healing itself ever so slightly. Her cold eyes which contained boundless tenderness for her almost made her feel breathless and the way she said that she was the person she loved and made her feel loved to such extent that she finally accepted the reason for her beating heartbeat.

In that desperate time when she couldn’t help but feel that she was about to die in vain again, like a powerless vase who was nothing but a trash who couldn’t even protect those close to her. A useless woman who only brought countless trouble. A curse who should have died instead made all those who cared about her die just to save her insignificant life.

Thinking of all those days of agonizing loneliness as she was left in a world which seemed to be hell bent on making her suffer, Su Yubing couldn’t help but take a deep breath as her eyes turned uncontrollably red but before he could Subconsciously conceal her emotions, she was suddenly pulled into a warm yet familiar embrace.
