Maybe My Soulmate! (GL)

After Mo Yuxin said that her sword ’dusk lily pin’ was actually a mystic grade Spiritual treasure, Su Yubing couldn’t help but be stunned no matter how calm she was usually.

After all, it’s a mystic grade treasure !!

In the whole world, there are no more than 50 known Mystic grade treasures. That too, many of them are just half step complete and many are also at the lowest level in mystic grade. As for truly Powerful high level mystic grade treasures, it’s question whether it even exists in the first place. Mystic grade treasures also has levels in this grade based on the materials and the power.

But if they ever get exposed in the outside world, it’s unknown whether the whole world would start a bloody war just to size it.

After all, a truly powerful mystic grade treasure is enough to make a person’s strength increase by almost 50%.

And all the top powerhouses in the world wants one but nobody would want a single person to hold such a weapon as this single weapon has the power to change the whole power dynamic of the immortals.

The delicate balance that exists because of the similar strength between the top powerhouses can be shattered at any moment if such a weapon suddenly appears in the world.

And if you are not powerful enough to protect such treasure, it would only bring misfortune and despair.

After hearing Mo Yuxin’s words, Su Yubing took quite a few long seconds to finally digest this huge piece of information but the next moment she suddenly thought of something as her surprise turned into worry at a speed visible to the naked eyes. She suddenly came forward and immediately grabbed Mo Yuxin’s arms gently as her anxious voice sounded in Mo Yuxin’s ears,

”Then! Then! Why are taking it out so casually!!

You don’t take it out in the outside world right? Don’t use this sword in the outside world, okay.

I will give you a normal sword for you to use. What if someone discovers that it’s a mystic grade treasure!!

What would happen if it gets known to the world!!

We’re not Powerful enough to protect ourselves much less such a legendary treasure!” All the words of worry came out of Su Yubing’s mouth at a very fast speed not giving Mo Yuxin any time to explain.

And Mo Yuxin just listened to her words with a visible smile on her fair face and it was obvious that she liked the fact that Su Yubin would worry for her safety much more rather than the mystic treasure itself.

It doesn’t mean that she will like her any less if she focused more on the mystic treasure but her worry for her made her feel as if a warm current was flowing through her whole body making it almost unbearable for to suppress those burning desires for the seemingly innocent woman before her eyes.

But she had to suppress those feelings again again, after all it’s not the time yet.

At this time, Mo Yuxin finally responded when she heard Su Yubing’s anxious words,

”What happened?? Why are you not saying anything?”

”Okay. I will listen to you.” Mo Yuxin said these simple words in such an indulgent tone that Su Yubing felt that she will probably do anything and everything if she just said it once.

Realising her thoughts, Su Yubing couldn’t help but feel a bit embarassed but also happy that Mo Yuxin was willing to listen to her words without a moment’s hesitation.

Suddenly she said,

”Okay then. When we find a good sword, we will use it for now. It would be better if we could find a good sword after the trials are over.

After all, there’s supposed to be rewards for completing such hard trials.” Su Yubing said to which Mo Yuxin also nodded but she felt that these trials were really not that hard, maybe easy even.

But for a normal Cultivator at foundation building perfection stage or even an initial golden core stage, it would be an extremely challenging task as the ranks of the beasts may not be that high but the numbers are enough to give them a scare for life.

Even the first trial wasn’t hard but would definitely break down a normal cultivator’s psychological defence if that person doesn’t have a tough will power.

Let’s take Su Yubing’s first trial for example, the way she had to find the few bricks that had to be pressed in the midst of over ten thousand bricks is an extremely daunting task but that too within a limited time with also limited air.

And not many Cultivators or even the heavenly geniuses will be able to complete the task the way she did by dividing her spiritual power into over ten thousand strands that too all of them being soo tough.

As for Mo Yuxin’s task, the fact that she had run in an almost endless tunnel then having to face hundreds of rank 2 beast at the same time in a small space is even more dangerous and life threatening.

But for Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing, these tasks didn’t take much out of them but only gave them a mild or even non existent pressure.

At this moment, something strange happened which suddenly attracted the attention of both Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing.

It’s not even been five minutes since they killed those 30 or so ’tail bone mermaids’ but at this moment, the water surrounding Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing started churning suddenly and the originally still water trembled slightly before the saw with their own eyes that the remaining dead bodies of those monsters disappeared right before their eyes and a somewhat cooling sensation spread throughout their whole body.

They felt a kind of foreign energy which neither seemed offensive not did they feel anything harmfull from it, infact, they both felt that this somewhat soothing yet chilling energy felt beneficial to them! This energy also had the breath of natural energy of heaven and earth which also goes to show that this something extremely rare.

The moment this foreign energy entered their body, it spread throughout their whole body from their heads to the ends of their toes, going through every organ and blood vessels, bones as well their meridians.

Wherever this energy passed through, Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing both felt that the place seemed to have been tempered slightly and a small amount of vitality also seeped into them making them both feel particularly reinvigorated.

From the start to the finish when the foreign energy completely disappeared and merged in their body, the effect finally subsided before Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing looked at each other with an inquiring look.

”It seems, killing these beasts will give us this cooling energy as a reward.” Mo Yuxin said.

”Yes. Though it doesn’t give us much benefits as our bodies are already tempered far above the level of this small amount of energy.” Su Yubing also felt the same energy flowing through her body but the effect seemed too meager for them to actually benefit from it. But something is still better than nothing.

”Yes. Though I guess, it’s because this trial itself wasn’t made for people at our power level. After all, this ’shenghuo Menkou’ is the one located in the eastern Continent and the weakest one as senior Xie said.” Mo Yuxin also said.

Even though this energy didn’t seem much effective for Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing but if this same thing was known to the outside world, the whole continent would go crazy for it.

After all, a cooling foreign energy which can accurately temper the meridians and every organ in the body without a single side effect is something extremely rare and magical which would be considered a rare treasure anywhere in the world.

Though this energy couldn’t give much effect to Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing but if it were any other normal cultivator, they would definitely feel that their meridians have been strengthened slightly as well as their organs, even their blood seemed to have become much purer and their bones seemed to have become tougher.

And if they could kill more of these beasts, the effect they will get would definitely be something astonishing.

But that is if they could kill more of these beasts. Not only all of them were rank 2 beasts but the numbers are staggeringly high. Mo Yuxin could even feel that there seemed to be residual breath from a quite a few rank 3 beasts in the depths of the water.

Facing these obstacles, anyone will choose to just stay above water and hopefully survive for the 30 days. Of course that doesn’t include Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing.

They could only be counted as an exception.

A scary exception.

As they both felt that even the last bit of the energy merged in their body, Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing now had to plan their next course of action.

As they didn’t want to spend much time in these trials and the fastest way would be to just kill all the beasts in the shortest time possible.
