Maybe My Soulmate! (GL)

The more Mo Yuxin thought about how she made Su Yubing sad like this, the more she felt guilty and the more her head continued lowering down like a naughty kid who got caught doing something bad.

Seeing her like this, Su Yubing felt a little funny and also didn’t want to let her off so easily lest she does the same thing again without even informing her before.

And to let her know the seriousness of her actions, Su Yubing even deepened her voice and said,

”Sigh... I know that as Cultivators, we are bound to encounter countless dangers and pain maybe some life threatening also but I hope that you will consider atleast telling me before you do things you’re not sure about. So that I can be prepared and be right beside you and not behind you like before where all I could do was just watch helplessly.”

Hearing her words, Mo Yuxin felt warmth flooding her heart and she couldn’t help but look into Su Yubing’s eyes again and solemnly promised,

”Yes. I will definitely tell you... Umm..

Are you still angry at me??” Mo Yuxin said and couldn’t help but ask if she was still angry at her.

Seeing her cautious look, Su Yubing couldn’t help but soften her heart and her previous calm self returned and said with a light smile at the corner of her lips,

”No.”

..

At this time, Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing were talking about what Mo Yuxin found after her exploration of the whole ocean of water in the water elemental territory.

”Right now when I expanded my senses with my divine sense, I already got a grasp of everything in the water and I think we can clear this trial within 3 to 4 days at most, If we go separate to cover two direction at one time.” Mo Yuxin said her analysis after she found everything in the water with the help of her divine sense.

Hearing her, Su Yubing couldn’t help but ask,

”So. How many beasts are there in the water? And how long is the expanse of the the whole ocean of the water?”

Hearing her questions, Mo Yuxin didn’t let her stay in suspense for much longer and quickly retold everything she found under the water.

”As we already knew that the water is roughly about 1000 feet deep from the surface and as for how vast it is.

Fortunately when we jumped into the water, we were roughly in the center of the whole ocean of water and from here, the water goes in all four direction to about 500 miles before my senses hit the boundary of the square space.

So from one end of the boundary to the other, it’s roughly 1000 miles in all sides as it is a square space after all.

And from what I found, There’s roughly about 5000 beasts under the water and of which at most 900 is rank 3 like the ones we encountered earlier and the rest are just the rank 2 weaker ones. There’s also quite a few rank 2 ones who are on the verge of breaking through to rank 3 so we should kill them when encountering to avoid any unnecessary problem.”

After carefully listening to Mo Yuxin’s words, Su Yubing nodded with an understanding look and couldn’t help but say,

”Hmm.. those rank 2 ones which are on the verge of becoming rank 3 should be killed first. After all, when a beast makes a breakthrough to a higher rank, it’s usually in a state of highly explosive power and will probably act like a madman if it’s in a pinch. Self-destruction is also possible for these cases.”

Hearing Su Yubing’s words, Mo Yuxin also nodded and then they decided their next course of action,

”Okay. So we should clear out the rank 3 ones first and then the rank 2 ones.

After all, the rank 3 ones already have fixed territory and would not move from their position which makes it easier to find and eliminate them.” Mo Yuxin said to which Su Yubing nodded in response and the next second, they both coated themselves in the water resisting shield which they have been perfecting passively from the very moment they entered the water and at this time, with their incredible proficiency in spiritual energy, it’s still possible for them to last another day in the water.

Thinking of this, they didn’t hesitate any longer and Mo Yuxin took Su Yubing’s hand in hers and interlocked their fingers before they both burst out with unparalleled spiritual power and both picked one direction and started rushing there at a fast speed.

After using divine power to enhance her senses and sensing everything in the water, Mo Yuxin already has a rough idea about the position of the beasts, especially the rank 3 ones so it wasn’t hard for them to encounter a group of them again.

Just within a few minutes of their departure, they again felt the auras of rank 3 ’tail bone mermaids’ and quickly rushed at their position before they escape and soon found a whole group of them.

It seems they also sensed their presence when they got close and their momentum was definitely not welcoming as they were ready to fight at any given moment and their violent spiritual power was madly gushing out of their body.

Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing saw that there were about 30 of these rank 3 ’tail bone mermaids’ all at once but they weren’t at all nervous and infact this is what they wanted as that would save them the trouble of finding these beasts more easier if they just stick together like this.

This time, they didn’t waste any time and Mo Yuxin also quickly took out her sword as did Su Yubing.

Su Yubing’s sword was obviously just an red iron sword which can accompany a Cultivator up to foundation building but it is still an extremely low grade one but compared to any other in the whole Azure Dragon City, red iron sword is still a luxury only afforded by the top families.

After taking out their sword, Mo Yuxin didn’t use her ’critical strike’ like before as that would make the fight too easier and instead she just coated her sword with a thin layer of spiritual power to tackle the beast and let Su Yubing fight them.

These weaker rank 3 ’tail bone mermaids’ are too easy of a target for Mo Yuxin’s current strength but for Su Yubing, they are still a tough match as there were almost 30 of them.

Seeing Mo Yuxin not taking action but instead let her fight them, Su Yubing couldn’t help but smile as she also wanted to fight for so long. After all, even after advancing her cultivation to foundation building perfection stage, she still hadn’t gotten any chance to properly fight to adjust to her current strength.

And because of divine constitution, she didn’t have to worry about any unstable foundation due to advancing two minor realms in one go and that was all the more of a reason as to why she wasn’t in a hurry to fight.

But now, she got the perfect chance and with Mo Yuxin watching over her safety, she could fight freely without worrying about herself and Mo Yuxin also wouldn’t let any beast escape from any blind spot.

Right now, Su Yubing took out her sword and poured her spiritual power into it and coated it with a thick layer of it so as to not break it. After all, fighting this many rank 3 ’tail bone mermaids’, a red iron sword is too weak and may even break mid fight.

As the spiritual power floated from her dantian and entered the sword body, it started glowing with a silvery light and edges seemed to have been sharpened even more.

She quickly took her stance to use ’Tripple Draw’ and the calm spiritual power suddenly rushed out madly almost like tide, causing rippled in the surrounding water and Su Yubing rushed into the oncoming group of beasts with a fearless heart.

”Boom!!!

With a loud bang, she collided with the beasts and within the first collision, a violent eruption rushed out from them and next moment, a mermaids’ head flew out from their position with dark green blood floating in the water.

And within moments, the mermaids’ body also turned into tiny particles and even the blood vanished before both Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing felt the slightly cool energy rushing into their body like a gentle wave.

They didn’t mind it anymore and Mo Yuxin just kept tacking a lot of beasts just to keep them busy and one the other hand, Su Yubing fought with tens of them alone.

At this time, Su Yubing let out a lot of sword energies like a silvery arc and all of them accurately landed on the beasts causing them to shriek in pain.

And the next moment.....
