Maybe My Soulmate! (GL)

Thinking that the ’tail bones’ were the source of her income now, Mo Yuxin restrained her irritable mood and gave up the idea of using ’Void Cutter’.

After all, ’Void Cutter’ is her ultimate move and the innate ability of her ’dusk lily pin’ and the destruction it can cause will be immense and would probably disintegrate the whole body of these creatures into nothingness.

She has only ever used ’Void Cutter’ once when she tried resisting the extremely terrifying thunder tribulation when passing through the ’barrier of death’ to the next realm ’Golden core realm’.

At that time, she was faced with the try-thunder tribulation also known as the ’barrier of death’ which she had to survive in order to enter the golden core stage.

But alas, the thunder tribulation was far more tougher in her case as she had formed 3 crucibles in the foundation building stage and in turn had to face the wrath of black lightning.

At that time, she had no other thoughts than to survive and used her sword’s innate ability ’Void Cutter’ almost instantly and thus braking through to the initial golden core realm’.

Innate ability of an ’Mystic grade’ spiritual sword is completely different from anything else and it’s fundamental structure is also different from normal sword manual.

In order to execute any normal sword manual, the Cultivator has to practice it first to at least minor succes before even think about executing it but innate ability is something that becomes yours the moment the Cultivator bonds with their spiritual sword.

The Cultivator doesn’t need to practice the sword move as the moment he/she bonds with the sword or weapon, it’s innate ability will be completely engraved in the Cultivator’s mind and can only be executed by the said sword or weapon.

In this way, innate ability is also the most powerful factor of any spiritual weapon of mystic grade.

And that is also one of the most important reason as to why any mystic grade weapon is sought after so much.

But not all mystic grade weapon can give birth to a weapon spirit and that’s also why spiritual weapons are as rare as mystic grade or maybe even rarer than them.

After all, spiritual weapons can grow stronger as the owner grows.

Normal mystic grade weapons can also grow but the Cultivator would need corresponding materials which are most of the time extremely hard to find.

Anyway, there’s a lot of mysteries related to mystic grade or spiritual weapons. Not much is known about them except some general information.

..

At this time, Mo Yuxin suddenly brought her sword to her eye level and the spiritual power within her body rushed madly towards the sword as the sword itself seems to be glowing with a silvery light.

At the exact time, the 6 rank 3 ’tail bone mermaids’ were also extremely cautious as the the danger they felt from Mo Yuxin’s momentum made them feel the fear of death.

But these rank 3 beasts obviously had more pride than the rank 2 ones and didn’t want to run away with their tails behind them but chose to face Mo Yuxin almost immediately.

The next moment, these 6 rank 3 ’tail bone mermaids’ immediately roared with strange siren like sounds and the violent spiritual energy within their body exploded outside causing visible ripples in the water.

Their previously long teeths grew even more and their already hideous face became even more disgusting as their tail bones shone with a dark brown spiritual energy.

All six of these creatures did the exact same set of actions almost instantly and they obviously didn’t want to give Mo Yuxin any chance to Gather momentum in her attack and pounced on her from all sides.

Su Yubing at this time, retreated a little to give Mo Yuxin more space to maneuver and to not be a hindrance and she wasn’t at all worried about Mo Yuxin as she had complete faith in her power.

Mo Yuxin was also focused in her sword attack but obviously noticed all the actions around her and couldn’t help but smile at the tacit understanding between her and Su Yubing.

She also noticed that the creatures didn’t want to give her any time to execute her ’critical strike’ and it was obvious that they had far more intelligence and survival Instinct than those rank 2 ones.

All of these happened within seconds and the next moment, all the six creatures were completely onto her and surrounded her from all sides as their tail bone which contains their most violent power swung at her with unparalleled momentum.

The dark brown spiritual power seemed extremely overbearing yet also nauseating as the spiritual power seemed to be filled with a nasty fishy smell.

Mo Yuxin at this time was completely focused in gathering moment as her ’critical strike’ needed to have much more power to deal with these rank 3 beasts than the rank 2 ones.

But the creatures seemed to have felt the danger and came right onto her and swung their tail bones at her with destructive power.

”Boom!!!

With a loud bang, all the six of these creatures struck at Mo Yuxin with their full power using their tail bones and the violent ripple spread out from them as the center to thousands of meters outside.

The water rippled continuously and waves after waves of water rippled out from there.

The power of these six rank 3 creatures were so destructive that a small whirlpool was created at where Mo Yuxin was and nothing could be seen from outside.

And after a few seconds, everything settled and the water became still again and everything could be seen inside.

At this moment, what was shocking was that, the six of these creatures were still in place with their tail bones attacking one place and below in the center was Mo Yuxin standing with her sword above her head.

They were at a stalemate because their group attack was actually blocked by Mo Yuxin!

And there wasn’t even a single ounce of fatigue on her face nor was there any signs of struggle on her face!

The creatures were obviously stunned by the result as they didn’t seem to have expected to her to block their attack like this.

But there she was, standing one hand behind her back and one hand holding the sword. Her blue sapphire eyes had a sharp glint in them, her beautiful and fare face seemed to have heroic handsomeness to it. She didn’t seem to regard these beasts as anything at all.

And the next moment, there seemed to be a smile at the corner of her lips and a few words escaped her mouth, sending shivers down the spine of all the six beasts.

”Now, It’s my turn.”

As she finished speaking, the six beasts also retreated as fast as possible but how could Mo Yuxin just let them go.

She had already gathered all her momentum in her sword as the spiritual power seemed to be concentrated on the sharp end on the sword and she swung it seemingly slowly.

But there was obvious afterimages left in it’s path and and the next second her whole figure disappeared from her spot!

And the next moment, she appeared again but right infront of the retreating six beasts but the weird thing was that the beasts were extremely still as there was a visible shock on their faces and their bodies started turning into tiny particles and Mo Yuxin accurately took the 6 tail bones into her system space.

If looked carefully, there were exactly two thin lines on their bodies, one on their neck and the other on their tail bone which separated it from their bodies.

These two thin lines were obviously left after Mo Yuxin swung her sword and these beasts also died without even knowing when.

But Mo Yuxin wasn’t curious about any of these and flashed again and appeared right beside Su Yubing.

She accurately held Su Yubing’s hands quite naturally and rested her head on her shoulders weakly as if all her strength was gone.

”What happened?” Su Yubing asked softly.

”Umm.. tired.” Mo Yuxin also replied with a little coquettishness in her tone.

Su Yubing would have definitely believed her words if she hadn’t known her powers already and there was obviously no signs of fatigue on her face.

But she didn’t expose her and let her lean on her shoulders.

At this moment, the bodies have already disappeared and the same refreshing energy entered their body making them feel comfortable all over.

Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing didn’t reject this and let the energy merged within their body.

But this time Su Yubing noticed something at the place where the bodies of the rank 3 ’tail bone mermaids’ disappeared.

There were accurately 6 small yet dark red shiny gem like crystals slowly floating down in the water.

Su Yubing then

immediately used her spiritual power and the 6 of these crystals came right into her hands.

”What’s this?? Mo Yuxin asked.
