Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1035: Chapter 1029: Injured Pregnant Woman_1

Qin Xue intended to go find Chu Molin, but she hadn’t taken more than a few steps when she was stopped; now she had no way to go.

“Qin Xue, we’ve a very severe patient that needs your help in their treatment.” Ouyang Ziyu pulled Qin Xue aside.

“What patient? Weren’t there none before?” Qin Xue was confused about when this new patient appeared, hadn’t she just finished treating all the patients?

“Just now, a message came over, they said it’s a pregnant woman ready to give birth, so it’s up to the two of us.” Ouyang Ziyu didn’t have any experience with this, she wasn’t an obstetrician, so how could she deliver a baby? So, when Dongfang came to tell her this, the only person she could think of was Qin Xue.

“You are kidding me, how can this happen, can’t they use a vehicle to take the pregnant woman to the hospital?” Qin Xue’s head grew bigger when she heard this, with the poor medical level here, how could they manage to deliver the baby carefully?

“The road has been blocked by rocks falling due to the aftershock, so she can’t be transported, and had to be brought here instead since both of us are female doctors.” Ouyang Ziyu was also helpless, who could have foreseen such a turn of events.

“Alright, let’s go see what’s happening.” Hearing this, Qin Xue had no choice left, with the situation being this dire, she just had to face it.

“Alright, let’s go quickly. They said the woman is almost here, we should go prepare, otherwise, we would be in trouble when she arrives.” Ouyang Ziyu was somewhat at a loss, why should she, a young woman inexperienced in these matters, have to do this? If she saw the woman giving birth, would she ever be able to marry and have children herself?

Ouyang Ziyu felt like crying but no tears came out. She had heard that childbirth was extremely painful, which was why she never chose to study obstetrics, for fear that it would traumatize her. Who would have known that now she had no choice, her heart was trembling.

“Ouyang, why do you seem so nervous, are you afraid?” Qin Xue looked at the young girl, she seemed strange no matter how Qin Xue looked at her.

“No, why would I be nervous? I just heard that childbirth is very painful, I’m just worried for the injured pregnant woman.” Ouyang Ziyu laughed awkwardly and said to Qin Xue.

“Alright then, if you are not nervous. There’s nothing much to fear actually, it’s just a brief moment of pain, as long as the baby’s position is correct, there’s nothing to worry about.” Qin Xue patted her shoulder to comfort her.

“Ah, how do you know, you’re not an obstetrician.” Ouyang Ziyu looked at Qin Xue surprised as she asked.

“Well, I’m not an obstetrician, but I have given birth, so I know how it feels. It was quite painful, but when you see your child born, it all becomes worthwhile, you will understand once you get married and become a mother.” Qin Xue said before walking ahead, it looked like she had to check the situation, otherwise, she couldn’t guarantee no infections would occur in these conditions.

“Qin Xue, are you lying to me?” Ouyang Ziyu quickly walked up to Qin Xue and asked her.

“Lying about what?” Qin Xue looked at Ouyang Ziyu puzzled.

“About having a child. You look so young and small, how can you possibly be married and have a child?” Ouyang Ziyu just couldn’t believe that Qin Xue was a married woman.

“Ouyang, give me a break, would I need to lie to you about this? Really, don’t you remember the man who came to find me last night?” Qin Xue gave a wry smile as she looked at Ouyang Ziyu and asked.

“I remember, such a handsome man, anyone who sees him wouldn’t forget.” Ouyang Ziyu thought of the aloof man from last night, so cool, but unfortunately too cold for her taste, otherwise, she would have pursued him.
