Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 450: Chapter 233: Golden Light and Orange Light_2

The map’s precision made Alka take particular notice.

Alka carefully reviewed the main information for almost all treasure points, specifically their difficulty, and found that a large portion of them were quite challenging.

Half of the treasures had difficulties beyond what they could currently handle, requiring Third Stage strength.

The other half required First Stage or Second Stage strength, or even had no strength requirements at all. These were within their acceptable range.

Very good.

After reviewing the difficulty of these treasures, Alka couldn’t help but smile.

This indicated that these treasures were not entirely out of their reach; at least half of them were treasures they were qualified to acquire.

The crucial part was that this accessible half included the golden light source, which was far more valuable than all the blue light points combined.

As long as they spent time gathering information about the ruins, they could obtain these treasures.

What Alka feared most was that the strength requirement to acquire the treasures would be too high.

After all, they had just arrived in the Endless Sea. Compared to the overall power levels there, they were considered weak.

They needed to spend some time increasing their strength.

Then, Alka looked at the map in his hand, gently tapping the table with his fingers, producing a crisp sound.

He now needed to determine a target for their first move. After much thought, it became clear that the blue light points were the most suitable.

As for the golden and orange light points, the golden one was still a possibility, but the orange one was currently beyond their reach.

One step at a time.

Alka believed that starting from the blue points would allow them to slowly gather enough intelligence to fully uncover the information on the golden and orange points. They could deal with those later.

Safety is paramount.

Looking at these blue light points, Alka began to meticulously select targets. He considered their locations, the distances between them, and other details revealed in the information.

He deliberated for a long time. Finally, Alka came up with two decent targets.

He planned to tell his teammates about both treasure locations and let them determine the order.

The first blue point was in the area they had reached earliest. It was relatively safe, with few dangerous zones, most of which were small.

Many magical beasts were active there, but they all had their fixed territories and weren’t very strong.

[Destruction of Azula]

[Difficulty: Downer (Second Stage)]

[Fame: 0]

[Treasure Information: Vastva 1-9 project, deeply buried beneath Temple ruins.]

This was Alka’s first choice.

The difficulty was appropriate, the location was suitable, and its name also seemed interesting.

For the second option, Alka selected a point in the second area they had explored, the large region that included the small town.

This area had some dangerous zones, but they weren’t large. The magical beasts there weren’t overwhelmingly strong, and the more powerful ones kept to their fixed territories.

There were also only a few blue light points here.

Considering the surrounding danger levels, Alka selected what seemed to be a relatively safe option.

[Power of Convergence]

[Difficulty: Breaker]

[Fame: 0]

[Treasure Information: Vastva 3-6 project, deeply buried in Temple ruins.]

Alka was interested in this one mainly because its difficulty was listed as ’Breaker.’

This suggested that acquiring this treasure would depend more on puzzle-solving or wits than raw strength.

This made it a safer option. Additionally, they might be able to gather more information about the ancient city-state from these ruins. Such information could, in turn, help them extract more useful details from other treasure listings.

Indeed, the map showed no dangerous zones marked around this treasure’s location, nor were there any territories of powerful magical beasts nearby.

It could be considered the safest treasure-hunting spot, making it an ideal target for their initial exploration and for deepening their understanding of the Island.

The information from these two treasures suggested something: it seemed every activatable ruin was a Temple structure. Importantly, they were also marked with ’project’ designations.

This ’project’ designation always made Alka feel as if the creators of these sites had been conducting experiments.

Alka had also examined all the blue light points. Among the dozen or so blue points, ten bore these project designations.

These designated projects even included many of the white light points.

Upon closer inspection, there seemed to be a total of four such project types, distinguished by numbers 1 through 4 at the beginning of their designation.

As for what they represented, it was unknown.

Speaking of which, the ancient civilization of these ruins seemed to have a particular fondness for the number four. This was likely related to their Divine.

After all, even their Divine was known as the ’God of Quarters.’ It would be strange if these mortals, who worshipped such a Divine, didn’t share this fondness for the number.

Once he had made his decisions, Alka left his dwelling and went to the bonfire outside.

The nights were long, and based on their calculations of the daylight period, tonight’s darkness might last up to twenty-two hours.

Therefore, no one present was eager to go to sleep so early.

When Alka emerged, everyone turned their gaze to him. Now that they had a complete map, it was naturally time to get down to business.

Alka walked over and sat by the bonfire.

Looking at everyone, he said, ”According to the map, all the treasures are related to the ruins, and are very likely buried underground.”

”So, we’re going to have to dig?” Jason asked from nearby.

”Digging will certainly be unavoidable,” Alka said, then shook his head. ”But there’s no rush. I have two targets in mind for now.”
