Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 219: Chapter 156: The Perfect Plan for the Ship_2

So they actually brought out this much treasure?

They’d always been crazily hunting for treasure, but never really had a concrete idea of just how much they had.

Turns out he was already this rich.

He turned his head without hesitation and asked, ”So, what’s the second option?”

Now that they’re loaded, they might as well go for the best.

”The second option is that we use special techniques to take all usable parts of the entire ship, as well as the awakened soul components, and reinforce, upgrade, and forge them into a stronger keel.

This requires a special ritual, with priests from the Church working together to help.

Then, with some extra materials, we’ll rebuild the ship entirely according to the highest Spell Ship standards.

After all, the ship’s forging methods and spell patterns are from 600 years ago—way behind our times now. The benefit is, this way, it’s even more customizable, and we can add more functions that suit you all.

The downside? Well, it’ll take a lot more time, effort, and money, around half a year at least, and about 4,000 Golden Sails, just for the raw materials.”

Not only is it bigger and better, but the price just doubled.

The main point is, that treasure doesn’t just belong to himself, but to him, Lucilia, Chadite, and Pororo—the four of them.

He just happens to have the biggest share.

He turned to look at Chadite.

Understanding what he meant, Chadite simply said, ”No problem for me.”

”Me too!” Lucilia waved her hand cheerfully.

The talking doll drew a few curious gazes, but they were just curious, that’s all.

As for Pororo, there’s definitely no problem there.

Still, they could ask him later—right now, the three of them together already had about 4,000 Golden Sails between them.

Thinking ahead, they’ve got a whole year left, plus still have to finish the task given by the Archbishop.

But most importantly, it’s best to ask the Music Ship herself.

He patted the mainmast.

”Well, darling, which option do you want?”

Two elegant notes rang out in reply.

It was obvious—she preferred the second one. She wanted that brand-new feeling.

If even the ship herself chose the second option, then what’s left to hesitate about?

”Alright! We’ll go with the second one!”

Alka gritted his teeth and announced, worried he might regret it later.

Hibroke smiled and nodded.

”No problem. Just leave your ship here for now. Over the next few days, you’ll need to give us the features and layout you want for your ship.

Then we’ll draw up a design plan and begin construction. As for payment, you can pay after the forging is complete.”

”For now, you can head back. Come back when you’ve decided on all your custom features, and we’ll sign the contract then.”

Alka nodded.

Then, as if remembering something, he pulled out a stack of documents from his hand and handed them to Hibroke.

”These are things we gathered while sailing the Realm of Pitch Darkness. Chadite says they have something to do with your family.”

Hibroke took the documents and started looking through them.

A smile appeared on his face.

”Even though the technology’s outdated now, it still holds a lot of sentimental value for my family. Thank you all.”

”I’ll do my absolute best on your ship—you have my word you’ll be satisfied.”

Alka nodded.

Then the three of them finally said their goodbyes and left, following the road behind the shipyard back toward the villa.

On the way, Alka couldn’t help but ask, ”Chadite, can you really sell for that much? It’ll be embarrassing if we’re short on money later.”

”Don’t worry. Trust my eye and my skills—4,500 at least, not a coin less.”

Hearing Chadite’s confident words, Alka finally relaxed and nodded.

They chatted idly all the way back to the villa.

From far away, they could already see the villa’s courtyard was bustling, and Bobby’s hearty laugh could be heard.

They opened the courtyard gate and walked inside.

”You’re back! What took you so long? We couldn’t wait anymore, so the barbecue feast has already started.”

Jason looked at the three as he spoke, holding a long skewer of meat in his hand.

”You started without us? How evil,” Alka said with a grin, quickly making his way over.

The Lucilia doll on his shoulder transformed back to normal, slipped off, and Alka caught it, hanging it at his waist.

Moments like this were Lucilia’s least favorite—she’d go hide in the Magic Mirror to rest.

Alka didn’t have a solution for it.

He could only shake his head helplessly.

Watching Pororo gnawing on a huge chunk of roast meat, he said, ”Pororo, the treasure we got before might all go into building the ship. Are you okay with that?”

At this, Pororo waved his hand nonchalantly. ”Doesn’t matter. You guys decide.”

Then he focused on gnawing at the meat in front of him, while turning to old Bobby and saying, ”Hey, you old guy, your temper might be weird, but I’ll give it to you—the roast meat is amazing.”

”Damn you, fishman. At least you have taste.”

Bobby raised his wooden mug and clinked it against Pororo’s barrel.

”To good food!”

”Hahahaha.”

The impromptu barbecue feast chased away fatigue and sorrow from their hearts.

Laughter, song, and good wine eased their weary souls.

...

It wasn’t until noon that Alka finally rubbed his head and climbed out of bed.

Fortunately, his body was tough—otherwise, drinking that much last night, getting up today would be impossible.

After washing up, he went to the living room.
