Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Catherine turned her gaze after hanging up the phone, she smiled lightly and glanced at the woman in front of her, ”Delivering a potted plant is such a trivial matter, you don’t need to report it to me in the future.”

Julie felt that something was out of the ordinary, and there must be some trick.

”Princess, Prince Louis and Justin Kingston have no connection whatsoever. This potted plant is their only connection, so I’m guessing, is Justin Kingston trying to win over Prince Louis?”

”Does our Lorelei royal family have something Justin Kingston needs?” Princess Catherine asked with a smile, ”If he doesn’t win me over, what’s the point of winning Prince Louis over?”

Julie had no words to respond.

Catherine snorted lightly, saying with a bit of self-mockery, ”Even I, a grand princess, need to win over Justin Kingston; what’s the point of him winning over Louis? Julie, I find that sometimes you’re too tense.”

Julie didn’t know how to reply; she just felt something was amiss, frowning slightly, calmly contemplating, and no longer arguing with the princess.

Catherine comforted her, ”You, don’t be so tense. Louis is not so capable, even though he’s the eldest son, so what? He didn’t grow up in the royal family, is like a woman who likes flowers and plants; even if he became king, he might not be able to bear this sky.”

”But still, he’s the eldest son, the first heir,” Julie reminded, ”For the sake of Prince Taylor’s future, we must plan early and prepare for contingencies.”

”Where’s Taylor?” Speaking of her son, Catherine’s expression suddenly turned solemn as she asked discontentedly, ”Has he gone horseback riding again?”

”No.” Julie hurriedly explained for the prince, ”He went to the king’s palace early in the morning to pay his respects.”

”So proactive?” As a mother, she was surprised.

Julie replied, ”Yes.”

Catherine sighed lightly, not truly happy, ”Well, then make sure he goes every day from now on.”

”Yes.” Julie thought it might be unavoidable since Jocelyn is there.

”Taylor must perform well in front of the king, better than Louis!” Catherine had high expectations for her son.

When there are two sons at the same time, inevitably there will be comparisons; Taylor can no longer be as loose as he once was.

Catherine said, ”Also, about his studies, you need to keep an eye on them too.”

”Yes.”

Julie is a diehard fan of the princess. She will definitely keep a close watch to ensure Prince Taylor smoothly ascends the throne.

At this time, in Prince Louis’s palace.

The servant carried the potted plant upstairs, following the prince’s instructions, placed it in the study, because there was just a vacancy there, perfect for a plant.

”Alright, you can go now.” Ian Shelby leisurely flipped through the book, ”Close the door please.” His voice was gentle.

”Yes.” After the servant paid their respects, they left and gently closed the door.

Once Ian Shelby confirmed he had gone far away, he directly locked the door and quickly came to the potted plant, noticing the soil showed signs of being disturbed, not very firm.

He then gently but firmly pulled up the plant with both hands, directly exposing a box buried in the soil.

Removing the box, he shook off the dirt on top, and then replanted the plant in the soil, packing the loose soil tightly.

Opening the box, Ian Shelby saw various colored handkerchiefs inside, and took them out for closer inspection, seeing some edges had changed color, he guessed these were food samples.

There was also a small note, written in Justin Kingston’s handwriting. The contents were like this—

This is a kitchen sample, find a way to preserve it, I’m now returning to Riventhal, will bring you some equipment, meanwhile, give the note to Mia, I’ll be back soon, be careful yourselves.

After reading, Ian Shelby directly burned the note, burying the ashes into the soil.

Indeed cautious to leave no trace.

Meanwhile, Justin Kingston sat on the private plane returning to Riventhal, carrying the note written by Ian Shelby, until now he still hadn’t looked at the contents of the note.

Because there was no use in looking, perhaps only Mia could handle it.
