Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1183: Chapter 1183: Just Like a Young Couple

”Hmm?” Jocelyn was taken aback, ”I didn’t understand.”

”Since you’re already out, why not do me a favor?” Trevor’s eyes carried a pleading look, ”Consider that I woke up so early to make porridge for your aunt personally. She loves it so much, I’ll make it every day and send it over.”

”Stop!” Jocelyn was startled by him, ”You better not linger around my aunt too much. She’s been finding a boyfriend for me lately, and if she fancies you, you won’t be able to escape!”

”Is that so?” Trevor was quite pleased inside, ”Then hurry up and pick out clothes. You have to help me with my favor, or else I’ll linger in front of her every day.”

I’m dizzy!

Is he really threatening like this?

Jocelyn isn’t the shy type of girl; helping out is quite normal among friends.

So, she started choosing with her own taste, ”I’ll pay myself. I haven’t been out shopping in a long time anyway.”

Trevor didn’t respond, waiting for her to choose.

As a man, how could he possibly let her pay by herself?

”Miss, what color do you like?”

The young and enthusiastic sales assistant gave her a detailed introduction, ”This row is full of new arrivals at our store. You have a great figure, these are all small sizes, if you like the style, it’ll surely fit well.”

”Thank you.” Jocelyn’s voice was clean and pleasant, ”I’ll take a look first.”

”Alright.” The sales assistant accompanied her, not interrupting her thoughts.

Finally, she picked out a pink dress in a French vintage style.

When the sales assistant helped take it off the rack, Trevor’s eyes also lit up, ”This suits you well, go try it on.”

”I tend to like love-at-first-sight styles.” Jocelyn took off her light jacket and tossed it to Trevor, ”There’s a phone in the pocket, be careful it doesn’t fall out!”

”Okay.” Trevor’s gaze was gentle, he smiled, ”Go ahead, I’ll wait for you.”

Jocelyn just followed the sales assistant into the fitting room.

The phone in the jacket pocket was visibly vibrating, Trevor hesitated a few seconds, then took out the phone to look, it was Ian calling.

The name ’Dr. Shelby’ was prominently displayed.

Trevor wasn’t happy at all, staring at the name and the number, he thought for a moment.

Aunt seemed just like a normal person, with her complexion and state looking great.

Moreover, Ian had done a check-up on Aunt before they went out, and everything was normal.

So, this call was meaningless.

Trevor did not answer, nor did he reject it, but put the phone back into the pocket.

Soon, Jocelyn came out after changing into the dress.

The dress, which was both slimming and elegant, seemed tailor-made for her.

Gentle and fresh, full of youthful charm.

Especially the bow-tied neckline, sweet and youthful, with a touch of playfulness.

”How is it?” Walking over to him, Jocelyn stood in front of him and twirled the skirt, ”Does it look good?”

”Yes, it looks good.” Trevor’s gaze fell on her, infinitely gentle, as if admiring his favorite princess.

The sales assistant also spoke up at this moment, ”This is a cotton fabric, soft and comfortable, elegant and durable, the petite cut is particularly suitable for you, the upper body effect is really great.”

Actually, Jocelyn herself liked this style, and it was comfortable to wear, ”Then this will be it, I’ll swipe my card!”

Just as she took the jacket from Trevor to get her card, the cashier came over with a bag, ”Miss, the dress has already been paid for by this gentleman. Let’s put your clothes in this bag!”

With that, she opened the empty bag, and the sales assistant put the clothes in.

Holding the jacket, Jocelyn froze for a moment, turning her eyes to Trevor, ”Didn’t we agree...”

”It’s just a dress.”

Trevor’s smile was gentle, ”Besides, I asked for your help, buying you this is reasonable, I haven’t even paid you for your time, right?”
