Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1177: Chapter 1177: Trevor Comes to See Jocelyn

Having been imprisoned for a long time, Joan Graham suddenly felt somewhat whimsical. Her eyes gleamed, not willing to let go of any trace of hope.

Justin Kingston stared coldly at her, his deep and sharp gaze laced with frost.

”Hurry up and go change clothes!” The prison guard started to rush her when he saw CEO Kingston’s displeased expression.

Joan Graham was excited, but also a bit anxious. She felt that as long as she could get out, as long as she didn’t have to stay in this hellish place, she’d be willing to do anything.

Did David Garcia plead for her?

Did Mia Lane act kind-heartedly and forgive her past folly?

Otherwise, why would Justin Kingston come personally to pick her up?

Joan Graham really couldn’t understand, but she was very excited, changed her clothes and combed her hair, and came out to find Justin Kingston still standing in the same spot.

Despite his silence, his intimidating presence was impossible to ignore.

With trepidation in her heart, Joan went up to him step by step, daring to speak, ”Justin Kingston... I’m ready... Can I leave now?”

”Leave for two hours.” Justin’s lips moved slightly, ”Your son wants to see you.” After speaking, Justin turned around and left, not wanting to waste another word on her.

At this moment, Joan’s heart was a mix of sorrow and joy, extremely complex.

Only leaving for two hours? Will she be sent back again?

What? Ethan wants to see her?

Can she finally see her son?

”What are you still standing here for? Hurry up! Don’t keep CEO Kingston waiting!” The prison guard urged.

Joan snapped back to reality and started walking outside.

Sitting in the back seat of Justin Kingston’s Lamborghini, Joan nervously clasped her hands together. Her mind was a whirl, turning her gaze to look at the cityscape outside the window, feeling as if it was a lifetime ago.

This was the freedom she dreamed about, but regrettably it was an illusion and didn’t truly belong to her.

In these two hours, she breathed in the freest air; it was so sweet.

The car headed towards the direction of the hospital.

As it was about to arrive, Justin spoke up, ”Ethan Dalton is recovering; he was hurt by someone, but there is a great possibility for healing.”

”What?!” Joan was stunned, utterly skeptical, ”Ethan was hurt by someone?! Who? Who harmed him?!”

As a mother, upon hearing such news, wouldn’t her heart bleed?

”You don’t need to worry about this. I will investigate clearly from my end.” Justin’s cold voice carried a slight warning, ”Don’t even think about escaping. I’ll be watching you. You can’t get away in this hospital.”

”...” Joan couldn’t care less about what he said earlier, still lost in the fact that someone hurt her son... Who could it be? Who would lay hands on a child!

”CEO Kingston.” After a while, Joan came back to her senses and asked, her voice trembling slightly, ”You said he could possibly recover?”

”Yes, so please control your emotions later.”

Justin’s tone was calm, ”He just wants to see his mother. It’s not a particularly strong urge; he just mentioned it, and I must make it happen for him, given he is my wife’s half-brother.”

”...” Joan’s eyes moistened.

Ethan finally remembered to ask to see his mother.

During this time in prison, she was constantly thinking about her son.

Back when they were together, she didn’t feel anything, sometimes even annoyed by him, but after being apart, she missed him dearly.

At this moment, a Maybach stopped smoothly downstairs at Providence Hospital.

Trevor got out of the driver’s seat.

He was carrying two bags, one containing a thermal bowl with nourishing meat porridge.

He also brought a small cake, which Mia liked to eat; he guessed Jocelyn Morgan would certainly like it too.

Wearing a long black trench coat, Trevor closed the car door and walked towards the hospital lobby.

The raised collar made him look particularly stylish and charismatic today, yet it didn’t affect his composure.

In the elevator, he dialed Jocelyn Morgan’s phone number to ask for the room number.

As Trevor walked out of the elevator, Ian Shelby saw him unintentionally from not far away, Ian paused slightly, attentively looking at him.

Until Trevor entered Jasmine’s room.
