Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 44: Chapter 44: The Kids Begin Their Divine Assist

”Who it is doesn’t matter.” Justin asked him, ”Does my stomach still have a chance?” He also hoped to have a healthy body.

Ian replied bluntly, ”It’s a heart problem, there are signs of improvement, so there’s definitely hope.”

Justin immediately felt at ease. He had also felt unprecedented happiness these past few days.

”Invite him to be a chef. Getting nutrition from food is definitely better. Over time, you might also adapt to food made by others. In any case, don’t stop if there’s improvement.”

Justin pondered and spoke up, ”When you have time, come to my house and see where exactly her cooking is different.”

Ian nodded, ”Alright.”

Up until now, Ian still thought the other person was a famous foreign chef. He didn’t know that Justin was married, as he had been focused on his research and hadn’t been keeping up with the news.

Gigi and Dolly got out of the car and excitedly rushed into the Kingston Group lobby!

They skipped school to find their daddy!

Outside the elevator, Gigi held Dolly to press the button, and soon the door opened.

After the little ones went in, several company employees entered as well. They held documents in their hands, wore work badges on their chests, and had an orderly working demeanor.

”This time, for the Eldoria Royal New Year collection, it’s said that the Eldorian Queen will personally choose the styles. If she doesn’t like our designs, she’ll choose to cooperate with other companies.”

”Strange, since it’s a New Year collection, why give us only a month? Turns out they left room for others.”

”The Eldorian Queen values it, so CEO Kingston also values it.”

”Currently, our biggest competitor in jewelry is the R-Alan Company, right? They were once leaders in the industry, only surpassed by us in the past two years.”

R-Alan Company?

Gigi captured an important piece of information. Isn’t that the villain trying to sabotage Daddy’s company?

So they are competitors!

If they don’t work on improving their own abilities and only play dirty tricks behind the scenes, how are they leaders?

Out of the elevator, Dolly tugged on her brother’s hand and asked softly, ”Bro, what’s the Eldorian Royal New Year collection? What’s the design about?”

”It doesn’t matter what the design is, our mommy can do it!” Gigi tightened his grip on his sister’s hand, ”Let’s have mommy design one too! As long as the Eldorian Queen chooses mommy’s work, she’ll become famous, and no one will dare to call her a country bumpkin again!”

”Makes sense, but what if mommy doesn’t agree?”

”So we have to find a way.”

In the café opposite the group, Justin and Ian had a pleasant chat.

Justin’s phone rang, he glanced at the caller ID, and answered without avoiding Ian.

”What’s up?”

Finn Morgan told him, ”President, young master Gigi and miss Dolly are here.”

”I know.” His voice was pleasant.

After ending the call, Justin said to Ian, ”My kids are at the company, I have to go back first.”

”Hmm.” Ian stood up to see him off.

Watching that departing figure, Ian felt Justin was becoming more humane.

A man who was not into women, from now on, would have two children to accompany him, wouldn’t be lonely for the rest of his life?

In the spacious and bright CEO office of the Kingston Group.

Finn brought snacks for the kids and poured two glasses of juice.

”Thank you, Uncle Finn!!”

The kids were very cute, and Finn couldn’t help but feel happy looking at them, especially the little boy, who looked exactly like CEO Kingston.

”Uncle Finn, where did our daddy go?” Dolly asked in her sweet voice.

”I just called him, he said he’s coming back right away.”

”Coming back?” Dolly was surprised, ”Isn’t he in the company?”

”No, he’s not.”

The little ones were quite moved. If daddy wasn’t at the company, he must be out on business, yet willing to rush back for them?

Soon after, Justin came in, and Finn left with the documents.

”Daddy!”

”Not staying put at the kindergarten, what are you doing at the company?” Justin leaned on the edge of the desk, arms crossed, sizing up these adorable kids, ”Tell me, who did you bully again today?”

”No, no, no!” Gigi quickly shook his head, ”Today we didn’t come to ask you to back us up, we came to remind you of something important!”

Dolly solemnly nodded her little head, ”Yes, remind you! Afraid you’d forget! You’re a busy man!”

Justin was thoughtful, ”What’s the matter?”

”Tomorrow’s the weekend,” Gigi asked him, ”Are you working overtime?”

Before Justin could answer, Dolly reminded him, ”You promised to take mommy to the amusement park this weekend!”
