Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 65: Chapter 65: Butler Shelby Is Very Worried

Mia Lane found him disgusting, so domineering that it annoyed her!

He clearly abandoned her, yet ran back to pick her up. Could it be... that he liked her?

No, no, no, no, that’s impossible!

Mia thought, he probably just wanted her to treat his mother’s burn, right?

They didn’t communicate along the way, neither knew the other’s thoughts.

Mia took it upon herself to play a song—

”You are the princess in that fairy tale, standing in the light, I don a glamorous mask, turn and hide in a black suit, please dance with me, while this fairy tale hasn’t ended yet...”

He didn’t like listening to music, but he also didn’t stop her.

She was definitely the first person to dare to mess around in his car.

He didn’t know when his feelings for this woman started to change.

The Lamborghini stopped in the courtyard of Emerald Cove, Mia glanced at him, he didn’t seem to intend to unbuckle his seatbelt and get out.

Mia sensibly got out of the car and slammed the door shut! She strode toward the living room.

Justin Kingston glanced sideways at her, his gaze deep.

Restarting the car, his facial outline was cold and bewitching, he certainly had to continue investigating her relationship with the Dalton family, this was currently his top concern.

One must know the roots of those around him.

After entering the living room, Mia went upstairs, returned to her room, took out her phone, and sat on the sofa to draft an agreement.

Hmph, if he wanted her to treat his mother, he must agree to her terms!

First: From now on, he must stop having people follow her!

Second: He must play the role of a good father in front of the child, especially in front of Dolly, so that the girl would be less likely to encounter scumbags as she grows up.

Third: Starting today, they must sleep in separate rooms and prepare a new bed and room for her, to allow her own independent space.

...

After writing, Mia checked it once more, then headed downstairs.

”Butler Shelby, do we have a printer at home?”

The butler, tidying up the coffee table in the living room, turned at the sound, ”Madam, do you need something printed? I can help you.”

Mia Lane slightly curved her lips, ”Then add me on WeChat, I’ll send you the document.”

Butler Shelby took out his phone, and they scanned to add each other on WeChat.

After sending the document, Mia smiled and reminded, ”Two copies, please. Thank you.” She then sat on the sofa and picked up the remote to turn on the TV, the finance channel showed Justin Kingston’s figure.

He wasn’t as handsome on TV as in reality, those female reporters all looked lovesick.

Butler Shelby went to the print room, and when he printed and saw the contents of the agreement, his heart skipped a beat!

The fingers holding the agreement stiffened!

An agreement with Mr. Kingston??

Why would she sign an agreement with Mr. Kingston??

Did they have a dispute??

On what grounds did she make demands of Mr. Kingston?

Each of these demands wasn’t easy and had such a firm tone, not negotiable at all.

The thing Butler Shelby found most unacceptable was—Madam wanted to sleep in separate rooms from Mr. Kingston.

They were already in the stage of developing their relationship, how could they sleep in separate rooms?

”Madam...” Butler Shelby hurriedly approached her with the agreement in hand, ”You...what happened between you and Mr. Kingston?”

”Nothing.” Mia lifted her eyes to look at him, the corners of her lips curving up, ”Thank you.” She took the document from his hand, ”You can go back to your work.”

”...” The butler had a worried look on his face, hesitated for a long time then spoke, ”Madam, Mr. Kingston doesn’t interact well with women, if he offended you in any way, could you forgive him?”

Mia was slightly surprised, she shook her head, ”No, no, you misunderstood, he didn’t make me angry, I just seized an opportunity to negotiate a deal with him, he had previously forced me to sign some unequal treaties.”

Seeing her speak with a smile, not looking upset at all, Butler Shelby said no more.

Yet Butler Shelby was truly worried for their future.

The Kingston Group’s towering buildings shone splendidly in the morning light.

Justin Kingston entered the hall, he had a tall build, an imposing aura, and walked to the elevator with his hands in his pockets in large strides.

”Good day, CEO Kingston.”

”Hello, Mr. Kingston.”

Different titles but the same respectful tone, employees couldn’t help but glance at him several times, their hearts always skipping a beat uncontrollably.

On the 22nd floor, Justin Kingston encountered Monica Usher coming towards him as he stepped out of the elevator.
