Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 90: Chapter 90: President Usher’s Envy, Jealousy, and Resentment

The most upscale club in Riventhal, in the spacious and grand reception room, the classical style decor and the exquisite sandalwood furniture, with Picasso originals hanging on the walls, the air filled with the scent of Earl Grey tea.

The elegant and graceful hostess was completely amazed when she saw Mia Lane’s work, utterly stunned.

”How beautiful, there’s an attractive quality in these works, not at all pretentious. I don’t need a design concept because I saw it at first glance.”

Mia Lane sat beside the queen, surprisingly, she also spoke English, ”The design inspiration comes from life, simple and easy to understand, but I put effort into the design as well.”

The queen was deeply attracted by her youthful and gentle temperament, turning her eyes towards her, ”You are remarkable, it’s as if you’ve designed the true essence of life.”

”Thank you for your appreciation and affirmation.”

”I heard you’re not a designer for the Kingston Group?” The queen’s eyes smiled as she looked at the man sitting not far away, ”Are you Mrs. Kingston?”

Mia Lane smiled and nodded, her eyes clear and bright as if washed by water.

”You and Mr. Kingston truly make a perfect match.”

”Thank you.”

The queen had her sit beside her and flipped through the design drafts, while Mia Lane patiently explained her creative concepts to the queen, who listened attentively, occasionally amused by her down-to-earth words.

Justin Kingston sat on a single sofa nearby, elegantly crossing his legs, sipping coffee, listening to their conversation.

Outside the glass door, Monica Usher stared at this scene for a long time, unwilling to believe that Justin Kingston actually brought Mia Lane here!

Moreover, the atmosphere seemed quite harmonious.

A village woman sat beside the queen, even making her laugh, chatting intimately.

What was in the queen’s hand? Design drafts?

Monica Usher’s eyes stung, where did the design drafts come from?

Barbara Sutton forcefully pulled her away, afraid she couldn’t resist rushing in.

In the adjacent reception room, Barbara Sutton closed the door, ”President Usher, it seems the matter has been resolved.”

”How was it resolved?” Monica Usher was confused, lowering her voice, ”Where did the drafts come from? Are they designs Justin usually makes? Did he give them to Mia Lane to explain? She’s not even the company’s designer! Dressed like this, she fits into the mainstream? She’s just a village woman! Why her?”

”Regardless, the company’s crisis is over, isn’t it?” Barbara Sutton remained calm, ”CEO Kingston seemed relaxed earlier, and the queen smiled too, as long as the company hasn’t suffered any loss, it doesn’t matter whose drafts they are, having someone handle the situation is better than us apologizing.”

The company hadn’t suffered any losses, but Monica Usher was unwilling.

Why was the person helping the group that village woman?

She’s unworthy of Justin Kingston!

Three hours later.

The queen stood up and embraced Mia Lane, once again affirming her work with reluctance to part, ”Mrs. Kingston, I’m very happy today, I want to take these drafts first because I really like them. The royal family will strictly follow your design for production, and we may need more communication at that time.”

”Okay, no problem.” Mia Lane was also very happy, after all, she had helped him with such a big favor.

The queen shook hands with Justin Kingston, ”Looking forward to our next collaboration, thank you.”

”Thank you for your recognition.” Justin Kingston was gentlemanly and polite.

The queen’s eyes were kind, ”See you at the evening event, remember to bring Mrs. Kingston along. I really like her, she’s such an interesting girl.”

”Yes, Your Majesty.”

Justin Kingston and Mia Lane together bid farewell to the queen, watching the car drive away into the distance.

”Shall I give you a ride home first?” In front of the Lamborghini, Justin Kingston asked her, ”I’ll come to pick you up again in the evening?”

Mia Lane agreed.

So he took her home, and then returned to the company.

Monica Usher moved back to her office, her condition not well, having slept late yesterday and drunk a lot. Today’s scene at the club made her so angry she had a headache.

It was not until Justin Kingston appeared in her office that she pulled herself together.

”Let’s attend the evening event together.” Justin Kingston’s tone was calm, ”The crisis has been resolved, we showed some drafts to the queen today, and she expressed great satisfaction.”
