Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

This kiss lasted for a long time.

It lasted until Tsunade felt like she could barely breathe before it finally stopped.

Tsunade looked at Seiryū, who had completely returned to normal, with dazed eyes and revealed a beautiful, moving smile. ”What about now?”

”You’re taking advantage of me again.”

Seiryū smacked his lips, still recalling the feeling from just now, but then he sighed and said, ”But never mind. I won’t hold it against you this time.”

With the last of his Chakra used to cast Kaidō, the Dragon Vein consciousness also quieted down.

His Chakra was completely drained. How could it not quiet down?

The quieting of the Dragon Vein consciousness naturally allowed Seiryū to recover from his over-excited state and also exit the ethereal state of dragon transformation.

If the Dragon Vein consciousness had more than a subconscious, it would probably be cursing loudly right now.

Damn it, it was exhausted too. Its Chakra had been completely drained by this damned guy, yet the other party was perfectly fine.

It could only shrink back and wait for the next opportunity to see if it could completely kill this enemy who kept devouring its source power. Only then could it be freed from the seal.

”You’re acting innocent after getting what you wanted!”

Tsunade let out a soft huff, her face flushed with a rosy hue. As the side effects of Kaidō faded, she still felt somewhat shy.

In front of all those people, she had actually kissed Seiryū again. Even thick-skinned as she was, she felt a burning sensation on her face.

The future Fourth Hokage looked quite embarrassed at this moment, her face flushed, yet she looked even more moving.

”You look really beautiful.”

Looking at Tsunade’s flushed face, Seiryū felt his heart stir. Then, he lowered his head and kissed her back.

It was always her kissing him first. That was too unfair. He wanted to do it too!

”Mmph.”

Not expecting Seiryū to kiss her back at this moment, Tsunade’s eyes widened sharply.

Then, she felt him hold her close, kissing her with a forceful and unyielding intensity.

Tsunade could not help but let out a soft sound. Her eyes were once again stained with a watery luster, and her cheeks turned completely crimson.

”Al-alright.”

Feeling short of breath again, she used the arms wrapped around Seiryū’s neck to push him away.

After panting for a few breaths, she bit her red lip and glared at Seiryū. ”Don’t push your luck!”

”What do you mean by pushing my luck?”

Seiryū licked his lips, still lingering on the feeling. He argued his case. ”How many times have you kissed me first? I’ve only done it once. You still owe me many more times!”

Tsunade felt her face burning hot, but she made excuses for herself and argued, ”This is treatment! Treatment! Who told you to have another episode?”

Seiryū pursed his lips and said, ”This isn’t an episode, and it’s not being over-excited. It’s me pursuing happiness!”

”Now that you’ve stopped me from pursuing happiness, you have to take full responsibility. You should know what I mean.”

”I won’t let you down, and I can’t let anyone else down either, so you have to take responsibility for me!”

”You were the one who said you wanted me to talk it over with you!!”

Although he had entered an over-excited state under the influence of the Dragon Vein consciousness, Seiryū had not lost his reason or awareness. Naturally, he knew everything he had done.

His ideas could not change. He would not let others down. That was a matter of principle, but he would not continue to have those over-excited thoughts of ”changing the shinobi world and making the shinobi world acknowledge and obey him.” He would use gentler methods.

Tsunade looked at Seiryū and sighed helplessly in her heart. She also knew that Seiryū was serious and took these matters very seriously. Otherwise, he would not have trapped himself in a dead end, allowing the Dragon Vein consciousness to seize the opportunity.

Tsunade rubbed Seiryū’s short red hair and said earnestly, ”I need some time to prepare myself mentally. For now, this is the only answer I can give you.”

What else could she do? She wanted to possess Seiryū all to herself, but she understood Seiryū’s personality even better.

This ”over-excited berserk” incident explained a lot. For that detestable idea, he actually wanted to change the entire shinobi world. He was fundamentally not a normal person!

She needed time to think about such things. What a troublesome kid. He gave her such a headache.

”Anyway, you can’t run away. Even if you don’t want to be responsible, you have to be!”

Seiryū huffed. He also knew that it would take time for her to change her way of thinking. Anyway, there was no rush. He had not established relationships with the others yet, right? Slowly but surely. He had to use gentler methods!

Tsunade gritted her teeth and flicked Seiryū on the forehead, scolding, ”You should consider whether your ridiculous ideas will be accepted by them. By the others, you brat!”

Seiryū: ”...”

Thinking of these things, Seiryū also had a bit of a headache. He just wanted to pursue happiness. Why was it so difficult?

Seiryū took a deep breath and frowned. ”I think, how about I just put everyone in the shinobi world into some kind of Genjutsu? That way, I wouldn’t have to worry about it.”

Tsunade: ”...”

With a pop, Tsunade flicked Seiryū on the forehead, neither too hard nor too soft. She huffed coldly. ”Put away those dangerous thoughts of yours. That isn’t a way to solve problems at all. You’re just running away!”

Seiryū stiffened his neck. ”It’s not running away. It’s just effective quickly!”

”Behave yourself. How is this any different from coercion? Who uses this method to date?”

”What do you mean by coercion? I know of a Genjutsu called Kotoamatsukami, which can silently change a person’s perception. It’s a change that happens subtly, so this isn’t coercion!”

”And that isn’t coercion?”

Tsunade felt a headache coming on, then realized something and stared at Seiryū. ”Wait, a Genjutsu that can silently change a person’s perception. Have you been under a Genjutsu before?”

”Is that why your perception is different from normal people?”

This kid Seiryū’s perception was different from normal people. Could it be that this kid had been under some kind of Genjutsu? Was that why he.

”Crazy. At first, you said I was sick, and now you’re saying my perception is different from normal people? Your imagination is really wild!”

Seiryū curled his lips. ”Even Madara’s Genjutsu is useless against me. Do you think there is anyone who can make me fall under a Genjutsu? The Sage of Six Paths or the Rabbit Goddess?”

Tsunade said, ”If you haven’t been under a Genjutsu, then you’re just purely sick!”

”I can’t be bothered to argue with you about this.”

Seiryū glanced sideways at Tsunade, then felt a wave of weakness in his body. This was the result of excessive consumption. He said, ”I’m very tired now. My Chakra consumption was too high. I need to rest.”

His gaze turned toward the Iwa shinobi who had already moved some distance away, and he huffed coldly. ”They ran really fast.”

Tsunade also glanced over there, then looked at the Kumo shinobi in the field, who were silent with fear. She looked at Seiryū and asked, ”You just said that the Kumo shinobi have already acknowledged your ideas and obeyed your will. They.”

”In order to prevent me from going to Kumo and causing too much slaughter, the Third Raikage issued an order before he died, telling the Kumo shinobi to surrender.”

Seiryū explained, ”You, as the Fourth Hokage, should know what surrendering on the battlefield means. Anyway, how to deal with Kumo is up to you, the Hokage.”

Tsunade: ”?”

No, was it that simple? Kumo surrendered? Tsunade’s scalp tingled. She naturally knew exactly what this meant!

”I’ll leave it to you all to handle. I’m going to sleep for a while. My eyelids are starting to get heavy.”

After relaxing, the fatigue from the excessive consumption of physical strength, energy, and Chakra came rushing in like a tide. Anyway, with Tsunade here, Seiryū did not need to worry about his own safety. So, he leaned against Tsunade, smelling the faint fragrance on her, and Seiryū closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Although he was not really injured, he was still exhausted. Maintaining the dragon transformation and ethereal state consumed a lot of energy, and coupled with the fact that he had been fighting for quite a while, he felt hollowed out. After all, he was still young. In his normal state, he was only at the Kage level. It was by stacking many powers that he possessed power exceeding the Kage level. This situation placed a significant consumption and burden on his spirit and energy.

Supporting the deeply sleeping Seiryū, Tsunade said helplessly and softly, ”You kid really knows how to cause trouble for people.”

Swish!

The others, seeing that Seiryū was already fine and had returned to normal, also rushed over.

Hiruzen looked at Seiryū, who was either unconscious or asleep, and asked nervously, ”Tsunade, how is Seiryū’s condition?”

Tsunade said, ”Just excessive consumption.”

Hiruzen finally breathed a sigh of relief. ”It’s good that he’s fine.”

Seiryū was the hope of Konoha. With this talent, this strength, plus his relationship with Tsunade. With Seiryū here, would Konoha have to worry about not prospering? This was a new God of Shinobi! As long as Seiryū was still in Konoha, then Konoha would not fear any war. And they would have the confidence to deal with that emerging Asura of the Shinobi World, Madara!!

And here, Jiraiya, looking at the deeply sleeping Seiryū being supported by Tsunade, still could not help but ask, ”You. You two, are. Are you really in that kind of relationship? Wouldn’t that be too.”

I know you value Seiryū, but isn’t this a bit too much? You are in a Sensei-student relationship. Even without mentioning that, the age gap is also. How did it become that kind of relationship? His look of pain returned and would not go away.

Hearing this, Tsunade could not help but blush, her face burning uncontrollably. She glared at him, gritting her teeth. ”What does it have to do with you?”

This guy really knew how to press the wrong buttons. Being seen kissing Seiryū had already made her feel embarrassed. Why bring this up again? No matter how she answered, she would feel strange.

”Jiraiya-sensei, what do you mean by that?”

Kushina, who had come over together, was very supportive of Tsunade and Seiryū being together. She glared at Jiraiya. ”Why can’t Tsunade-nee-san be with Seiryū? You have old-fashioned thoughts and outdated traditions!”

Then she explained, ”Seiryū has never said that he is Tsunade-nee-san’s student, and Seiryū also fell in love with Tsunade-nee-san at first sight. So you see, this is just natural progression!!”

Jiraiya: ”...”

He did know that Seiryū had always denied being Tsunade’s student, but the reason was actually because he liked Tsunade? And what the heck was love at first sight?

Tsunade felt like crawling into a hole.

I beg you, can you stop talking? She did not know how to handle it anymore. There was a sense of being publicly exposed. It was not a denial or rejection. She knew her own heart. But having such things said to her face really made her feel somewhat unable to cope.

’Except for the fact that Seiryū is still young now, everything else is quite a good match with Tsunade-sama. As expected of Seiryū, even in this kind of thing, he’s a step ahead of everyone else.’

As one of Konoha’s top combatants and someone who knew Seiryū’s situation, Sakumo also followed over without hesitation, but at this moment, he was muttering in his heart.

He did not feel much about this. Except for Seiryū being young, everything else was a very good match with Tsunade-sama. Instead, he had a strange thought, feeling that it was worthy of Seiryū. Even in matters of love, he was a step ahead of others. And the other person was Tsunade-sama. One had to know that Tsunade-sama’s reputation and prestige in Konoha were too great. He did not know how many single young men wanted to pursue her. Seiryū was truly amazing!

Minato glanced at his mentor Jiraiya, his junior Seiryū, and then looked at Tsunade. Hmm, the relationship was quite complicated. So he chose to remain silent and not speak!

”Why is everyone not talking? What I said is the truth. It’s what Seiryū told me himself!”

Seeing that everyone else was not speaking, Kushina raised an eyebrow and emphasized, ”He really fell in love with Tsunade-nee-san at first sight and has liked her for many years.”

”Alright, alright.”

She was interrupted by Tsunade before she could finish, and Tsunade helplessly glared at Kushina. You talk too much! Then she changed the subject and said, ”Now is not the time to talk about this. There is another troublesome matter.”

After a pause, she said, ”Let’s first think about how to deal with the Kumo matter. Kumo surrendered to us. No, they surrendered to Seiryū.”

”Surrendering during wartime, I shouldn’t need to say it. You all know what it means.”

”What!?”

Hearing this, Hiruzen’s voice rose. He looked at Tsunade and asked very quickly, but calmly, ”What exactly is going on?”

The others were also astonished. They had seen the corpse of the Third Raikage and had also seen the Kumo shinobi who had given up resistance. But they had not expected that Kumo would actually surrender. Not surrendering to other shinobi villages, but surrendering to Seiryū alone!! This meaning was different!!

”I don’t know the specific situation either.”

Tsunade glanced at Seiryū in her arms, and the corner of her mouth twitched. ”They must have been scared into submission.”

”Before the Third Raikage died, in order to prevent Seiryū from slaughtering Kumo, he issued an order to surrender.”

Looking at Hiruzen, Tsunade asked, ”Old Man, how should we handle this situation?”

She was the future Fourth Hokage, but she had not truly taken over this position symbolizing power yet. The current Hokage of Konoha was still Hiruzen, and he was more experienced in dealing with such matters, so naturally, she wanted to hear his opinion.

”I.”

Hiruzen opened his mouth, not knowing how to handle it for a moment. He was well aware of Kumo’s strength. During the Second Shinobi World War, he, the Third Hokage, had signed some unequal treaties to ease relations with Kumo. Only then did he pacify the watchful Kumo. Now, you tell him that Kumo, which he regarded as a strong opponent, had actually surrendered? And surrendered to a shinobi of Konoha? This left him a bit dazed.
