Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

Sweeping through, crushing everything!

Everywhere Seiryū went, Kumogakure’s deployments were completely destroyed.

This was already the second day since Seiryū had left Konoha.

Who knew how many Kumogakure shinobi had died at Seiryū’s hands?

The reason Kumogakure shinobi were mobilizing troops and setting up front lines was to buy time for the Third Raikage to return.

But they had underestimated Seiryū’s strength and brutality. No matter what kind of forces they organized, they were easily crushed by him.

The gap in strength was too vast.

Numbers seemed ineffective against this monster!

Moreover, the Kumogakure shinobi discovered that Konoha’s Reaper, Seiryū, seemed to have gone mad. They couldn’t understand a word he was saying.

Things like, ”Do you agree with my ideas? Do you submit to my will? Where is the Third Raikage?” and such.

Agree with what ideas?

Submit to what will?

They only understood what he meant by that last sentence about where the Third Raikage was.

Facing a crazy and powerful monster, the Kumogakure shinobi fought while retreating, yet they were still pushed back to their own doorstep.

”My patience is almost worn out. Since you don’t agree with me and don’t want to submit to my will, then just die.”

Ten miles outside Kumogakure, Seiryū remained in his Hollowfied state, grinning to reveal sharp fangs, his dragon eyes glowing deep crimson.

Looking at the large group of Kumogakure shinobi in front of him, Seiryū said viciously, ”After carrying a building in your village and experiencing pain once, perhaps you will agree with my ideas then.”

His patience was almost worn out.

These people were too stubborn.

Why wouldn’t they agree with his ideas and submit to his will?

He only wanted to pursue happiness!

”Heh heh.”

The Dragon Vein consciousness still couldn’t completely devour Seiryū’s consciousness. It only amplified his extreme side, and Seiryū let out a hoarse laugh.

Not to mention his dragon-like appearance, even his personality no longer seemed human.

”Bang, bang, bang.”

Seiryū stomped on the air, flying step by step into the high sky and standing in midair.

The Dragon Vein chakra on his body surged. He raised his right hand, pointing his fingertips downward. A deep purple light gathered at his fingertips, and thick, powerful chakra bloomed from his body, freezing the surrounding air.

Just as the Cero Oscuras was about to unleash its power and destroy Kumogakure below.

”Crackle, crackle!”

The sound of thunder leaping came, and Black Lightning outlined the form of a cheetah, biting toward Seiryū, who stood in midair.

Sensing the attack, Seiryū abandoned the Cero Oscuras and looked over, the vicious grin still on his face. ”You’ve finally come, Third Raikage.”

”Boom!”

A dark red Ultra-Big Ball Rasengan lit up instantly, shattering the Black Lightning cheetah. The broken Black Lightning darted everywhere, and the sound of electricity echoed all around.

After blocking the Black Lightning attack, Seiryū landed on the ground and looked at the Third Raikage charging toward him.

A vicious smile appeared on his face. ”Let me ask you a question. Do you agree with my ideas? Do you submit to my will?”

”So you really have gone mad?”

The Third Raikage didn’t answer Seiryū’s question. Instead, he narrowed his eyes and stared at him.

The opponent’s neurotic, crazed expression, along with the evil, tyrannical chakra fluctuations on his body, looked exactly like a Jinchuriki going out of control.

The only difference was that the opponent hadn’t completely lost control.

He still retained some of his sanity.

Hmm, it didn’t look like much!

”Boom!”

A pillar of lightning struck abruptly, as if it wanted to crush him, and the Third Raikage acted instantly.

Black Lightning leaped around his body, outlining a Black Lightning chakra cloak. He then raised his hand and punched out, shattering the lightning pillar!

Seiryū’s eyes turned cold, his voice hoarse and vicious, as if questioning the other party. ”I’m asking you a question. Didn’t you hear me?”

”Are you alone? Konoha really underestimates us, sending a brat like you to attack Kumogakure alone. You don’t think you can destroy Kumogakure by yourself, do you?”

The Third Raikage still didn’t answer, speaking coldly instead.

Indeed, it was only Konoha’s Shinigami.

Hadn’t Konoha underestimated Kumogakure a bit too much?

”It seems you don’t agree with my ideas either. Then there’s no helping it. If killing you still won’t make Kumogakure agree with my ideas, then be destroyed!”

Seiryū had completely lost his patience, the crimson color in his eyes deepening.

”Clatter, clatter.” The golden chains shot up into the sky, baring fangs and brandishing claws like tentacles.

The golden chains were vaguely stained with the tyrannical, dark red Dragon Vein chakra, making them look even more sinister.

”Hmph!”

It was useless to reason with a madman, and there was no need to waste breath on him.

They were already mortal enemies!

Knowing full well the strength of the opponent and the strangeness of his ninjutsu, the Third Raikage took action directly.

He fully unleashed his new Lightning Release Chakra Mode. The Black Lightning cloak leaped at high speed, blooming with chakra flames that resembled spikes.

With a ”boom,” the Third Raikage stepped forward, and the ground beneath him cracked.

Using this recoil, his figure lunged toward Seiryū, leaving behind a trail of afterimages.

He crossed tens of meters in the blink of an eye and smashed a fist down toward Seiryū. The Black Lightning Lightning Release Chakra Mode boosted his strength tremendously, and this punch was packed with power!

”Boom!”

However, this punch was blocked by the spreading golden chains, only causing a thunderous roar to reverberate.

”You’re much stronger than before. No wonder you are the pillar in the hearts of the Kumogakure shinobi. As long as you, their leader, are still here, they won’t agree with my ideas or submit to my will.”

Bathed in Black Lightning, the Third Raikage’s strength had clearly improved, as Seiryū sensed.

In the current Konoha, perhaps no one besides him would be a match for the Third Raikage.

With such a leader and pillar present, the Kumogakure shinobi would only follow his will. Indeed, he had to kill him!

”Sss, sss, sss.”

Under Seiryū’s control, the golden chains behind him, stained with a bit of dark red, shot out like arrows, intending to pierce the Third Raikage’s body.

However, when they struck the Third Raikage, a ”clang, clang, clang” sound of metal clashing rang out.

They had been blocked by his highly defensive Black Lightning Armor!

”Lightning Release: Black Lightning Ground Flash!”

The Third Raikage, despite missing an arm, had mastered the technique of one-handed hand seals. This was not difficult for someone with such powerful chakra control.

Amid the ”crackle” of electricity, Black Lightning leaped from the Third Raikage’s body, blooming and spreading toward Seiryū!

”Swish!”

The power of Black Lightning was formidable, incomparable to ordinary Lightning Release chakra properties.

Seiryū didn’t want to experience the feeling of being electrocuted, so he dodged away with the Flying Thunder God Technique.

”No, I need to use absolute power to take you down and cause the faith of the Kumogakure shinobi to collapse. Only then will they agree with my ideas.”

Landing in one spot, Seiryū muttered.

Why dodge?

Only by using absolute power to kill the Third Raikage, the pillar of Kumogakure, would the people of Kumogakure agree with his ideas and submit to his will.

”That’s right, it should be like this.”

Seiryū licked his lips, his figure flashing and disappearing. When he reappeared, he was already at a position not far from the Third Raikage.

Amid a humming sound, he pressed a Compressed Rasengan toward him.

”Hmph!”

The Third Raikage only let out a cold snort, his eyes sharp with killing intent. Facing the incoming Rasengan, he smashed out a heavy punch, and explosive Black Lightning bloomed!

”Boom!”

The Compressed Rasengan, which had the power to tear through steel, collided with the fist containing the violent power of Black Lightning, causing a thunderous roar.

The spot where the two stood cracked at this moment.

The mutual attacks caused both parties to retreat a certain distance.

”Boom, boom, boom.”

The two charged at each other again, their taijutsu clashing. Every collision caused a thunderous roar, dense and continuous, clashing dozens of times in an instant.

Even with only one arm, the Third Raikage’s offensive was incredibly fierce, like a humanoid beast, crushing enemies with a powerful physique and strong attacks!

Although he hadn’t opened the Eight Gates, Seiryū’s physique in this Hollowfied state was not weak either. Taijutsu was one of his strengths, and he could clash with the Third Raikage head-on!

The two were evenly matched in this fierce battle!

”Boom!”

Fist against fist in another fierce attack, both were pushed back by each other’s power, their feet scraping marks into the ground before they stabilized their figures.

Shaking his somewhat sore arm, Seiryū stared at the Third Raikage with vicious dragon eyes, a cold, crazed smile curling the corners of his mouth. ”Heh heh heh. You really are stronger than before.”

”But that’s great. The stronger you are, the more fearful the people of Kumogakure will be when I crush you, and only then will they agree with my ideas out of fear!”

”What on earth do you want to do?”

Hearing this, the Third Raikage’s face darkened.

He couldn’t understand what this guy was going crazy about.

Agree with what ideas?

”Of course, it’s to agree with my idea of polygamy. If I don’t do this, I will let some people down!”

Seiryū showed an expression as if it were only natural and didn’t think there was anything wrong with it. ”Of course I have to fight for my own happiness. If you don’t agree, then I will destroy you and build a Ninja World that agrees with my ideas!”

Hearing this, the Third Raikage frowned and then cursed, ”Lunatic!”

What the hell, a lunatic?

For such a thing, he wanted to destroy the Ninja World and rebuild a Ninja World that agreed with his ideas?

Was this something a normal person could do?

The intelligence on Seiryū did indeed mention that he was ”mentally ill.” But he hadn’t expected it to be to this extent.

In his extreme state, Seiryū wouldn’t listen to anyone. He would only do whatever it took to fulfill the thoughts in his heart. ”That’s why I said, if you don’t agree, then destroy and rebuild.”

”You have already made your choice. I have warned you more than once. Heh heh heh.”

”If the Ninja World were to be destroyed because of your ideas, that would be the biggest joke!”

The Third Raikage said coldly, ”A lunatic like you, with such great strength and an extreme personality, is too much of a threat. Only when you are dead will we feel at ease!”

”Crackle, crackle!”

As he finished speaking, the Third Raikage fully activated his Lightning Release Chakra Mode, and the Black Lightning Armor leaped at an even higher frequency.

His chakra fluctuations rose by another large margin!

”Heh heh heh.”

Seiryū smiled viciously, then looked in a certain direction, his dragon eyes flashing with red light. ”Some little mice have approached, and it seems there is also an acquaintance among them.”

”Hum, hum, hum.”

On one of the golden chains, dark red chakra gathered frantically, forming an Ultra-Big Ball Rasenshuriken.

Then, he threw it over there!

”Boom, rumble! Sss, sss, sss!”

The Ultra-Big Ball Rasenshuriken flew out, tracing an arc, and then exploded with a bang!

A violent storm bloomed instantly within a hundred-meter area, turning that area into a forbidden zone, and the ground was plowed into a huge depression.

Some people who didn’t have time to dodge had their bodies shattered under the ravages of the storm, actually being churned into minced meat.

Of course.

There were also some who sensed the danger before the attack arrived, and some who were farther away and only slightly affected.

They were not killed by Seiryū’s attack just now.

They were bounty ninja, bounty ninja who had accepted the assassination mission from the underground bounty station!

”This. What kind of jutsu is this?”

”Why could the opponent detect us from such a distance!?”

”Konoha’s Shinigami.”

Just looking at the terrifying commotion over there, these people all felt terrified, their eyes filled with astonishment and shock!

Among them was an acquaintance of Seiryū, the S-rank rogue ninja from Takigakure, the bounty ninja Kakuzu!

Kakuzu, who valued money more than anything, paid close attention to black market bounty missions. Naturally, he would not miss the mission to assassinate Konoha’s Reaper, Seiryū, and the Third Raikage, A.

After all, it was an assassination, not a head-on confrontation with these two, so he still had some confidence!

So, he had come!

But Kakuzu’s expression was very solemn at this moment, his eyes filled with disbelief. ”This guy. How much time has passed? How could his strength have grown so terrifyingly?”

Wandering in the Ninja World, he had naturally heard some rumors about ”Konoha’s Reaper,” Seiryū.

But he didn’t quite believe it, or rather, he didn’t want to believe it.

After all, a Genin who had only been able to injure him through planning and a sneak attack had, in such a short time, already become a powerhouse capable of repelling the Third Raikage?

Wasn’t this a joke?

If it were you, you wouldn’t believe it either!

You would only think that someone was exaggerating, trying to make themselves look good.

He was good at this himself. He also bragged about himself like that.

But looking at the commotion over there, he felt that if he hadn’t fled the moment he sensed it, he might have ended up like those who didn’t have time to dodge, dead there!

Never mind having five hearts. Even if he had a few more, he didn’t think he could block it.

What kind of monster was this!?

Kakuzu was starting to doubt life!

At the same time.

There were quite a few bounty ninja who had accepted this mission. Their levels of strength varied, but most had the strength of a Jonin.

Their number was as high as a hundred.

Bounty ninja existed for money. Even if the mission targets were Konoha’s Reaper, Seiryū, and the Third Raikage, A, who stood at the pinnacle of the Ninja World.

There would still be people who valued money over their lives, ignoring the danger and choosing to accept the mission.

After all, the reward from the underground bounty station this time was simply too much.
