Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

Deciding to go to Konoha to avoid the limelight, Yahiko, as the leader of the Akatsuki, naturally needed to make some arrangements.

The current members of the Akatsuki were actually just some ”comrades” with the same ideals.

Their strength was only average.

Most of them were from the Land of Rain.

There were shinobi, and there were also ordinary people.

However, the scale of their development was quite good, enough to pose some threat to Amegakure’s rule.

It was not very convenient for such an organization to go to Konoha together.

Therefore, Yahiko needed to come up with a compromise.

Although he was going to Konoha to avoid the limelight, it did not mean he would abandon the Akatsuki, right? He just needed to make proper arrangements.

Seiryū did not pay attention to the actions of Yahiko, Konan, and the others.

As for Nagato, he was still unconscious!

That punch from Seiryū just now was not easy to take.

Seiryū first used Kaidō on himself to treat his injuries.

Although his spirit was still somewhat exhausted, his body was fine.

He could fully recover after a sleep.

Then Seiryū began to ponder other matters. ”The harvest from this trip is quite significant.”

”Not only did I pull the rug out from under Madara, but I also reorganized the missions and received rewards.”

”Hadō #78: Zangerin, Sword Skill Talent Enhancement, Bakudō #77: Tenteikura, all of them are quite good.”

”However, this Zangerin seems to be the same as the previous Flying Blade Slash. It needs to be unleashed through a flying slash method, but I still haven’t found the necessary factors.”

”I hope this Sword Skill Talent Enhancement reward will allow me to use these Kidō similar to flying slashes.”

”Just after reorganizing Hadō #78: Zangerin, a Sword Skill Talent Enhancement followed. It seems these Kidō related to flying slashes require sword skills to reach a certain level before they can be unleashed, right?”

The system had just triggered a mission.

It treated Nagato as some malicious ”Shinigami”, and after defeating him, it rewarded him with Hadō #78: Zangerin!

Madara, this ”Defected Captain”, also contributed another mission.

After smashing him, he received Sword Skill Talent Enhancement!

It was worth mentioning that.

Even Hashirama and Tobirama, who had been summoned through Edo Tensei, triggered a mission from the system.

The system treated those summoned through Edo Tensei as ”Sinners” from Hell!

By making these two ”Sinners”, Hashirama and Tobirama, return to Hell, the mission was completed.

Seiryū received Bakudō #77: Tenteikura!

Interestingly, when Hashirama and Tobirama returned to the Pure Land, Seiryū also unlocked another mission.

[Ding, an anomaly has occurred in Hell. Sinners, the creatures of Hell, have escaped Hell and arrived in the Soul Society. This is a sign that the balance has been broken!

The expansion of Hell would cause serious consequences, even eroding and assimilating the world!

There was a threat of world destruction!

As the future Soul King who would rule the Three Realms, the Host must solve problems for the living beings of the Three Realms, carry out the great cause of benefiting the Three Realms, and shoulder the responsibility of the Soul King of the Three Realms!

This was the Host’s heavy responsibility!

Mission released: Investigate the anomaly in Hell!

Mission Reward: Hadō #99: Goryūtenmetsu!]

Reasonable!

Too reasonable!

The Pure Land was equivalent to Hell!

Those summoned through Edo Tensei were equivalent to Sinners!

Now that Sinners from Hell had intruded into the Soul Society, something abnormal must have naturally occurred.

And as the future Soul King who would rule the Three Realms, Seiryū naturally needed to investigate the source of the anomaly clearly.

The system released this mission, and Seiryū could not find any fault with it!

”A highest-level Hadō. I’m so envious.”

Seiryū did not care at all about the system’s ”alarmist talk.” This was not the Bleach world anyway.

However, the reward for completing the mission made him envious.

Hadō #99 could be said to be the highest-level Hadō!

This mission had to be done!

Not for that so-called responsibility of the Soul King, but for this highest-level Hadō, Goryu Tenmetsu.

So Seiryū pondered in his heart. ”Then how do I go to the Pure Land? Die once? Uh, that’s too extreme.”

”Perhaps the Spirit Transformation Technique has the possibility of reaching the Pure Land, since spiritual bodies and souls can leave the body.”

”The Shinigami that appears in the Reaper Death Seal is also likely related to the Pure Land to some extent.”

”The Edo Tensei can even pull souls directly from the Pure Land.”

”These three techniques are probably all related to the Pure Land in some way!”

How could a living person go to the Pure Land?

Seiryū could currently only think of these three techniques that were somewhat related to the Pure Land.

If he could study the principles behind them.

It was possible to reach the Pure Land and complete this system mission!

Just now, in that chaotic passage, he saw Hashirama and Tobirama ”returning” to the Pure Land.

This proved that there was a certain ”process” for the deceased to go to the Pure Land.

That chaotic passage was equivalent to the ”Gates of Hell” in the Bleach world, right?

Spiritual bodies and souls should have a way to pass through that chaotic passage and reach the Pure Land.

As long as he found the right method!

”Hmm, but there are also some hidden dangers. The Six Paths Sage has always been stationed in the Pure Land. I wonder if I have been noticed by him?”

Seiryū also did not forget one thing.

The Six Paths Sage was not completely dead yet.

He was only stationed in the Pure Land, silently observing the shinobi world.

And he did not know if the Six Paths Sage had noticed him, this special ”anomaly.”

Was he an enemy or a friend?

It was really hard to judge at the moment.

”What unreliable thing are you thinking about again, brat?”

Just as Seiryū was thinking about these things, Tsunade’s voice reached his ears.

Seiryū subconsciously replied, ”I’m thinking about how to go to the Pure Land for a trip.”

A question mark appeared on Tsunade’s forehead. ”?”

”Uh, just a moment ago, I almost entered the ’Gates of Hell’, and I even saw Great-Grandfather and the Second Hokage in a passage.”

Seiryū gave a slight explanation, which could also be called nonsense. ”I guess that should be the ’Gates of Hell’ leading to the Pure Land, and I’m a bit curious whether a living person’s soul or spiritual body can go in and take a look.”

Tsunade: ”...”

This brat’s thought process was always so special!

Was that kind of place somewhere you could just go?

Only dead people could enter. Was this brat trying to ”die again”?

Tsunade felt exhausted. ”Are you planning to make that kind of risky attempt again? Wasn’t opening the Eight Inner Gates Formation enough for you?”

Seiryū said very seriously, ”Curiosity is the ladder of progress. I have obsessive-compulsive disorder. If I have a goal I haven’t completed, I feel stifled!”

Tsunade retorted, ”Don’t even mention that convenient OCD of yours that’s worth complaining about. You change your OCD every once in a while. I don’t know whether to say you have amazing perseverance or that you’re fickle!”

”It’s just as unreliable as your dreams!”

”Nonsense. Although I have a lot of OCD and many dreams, I have always been steadily advancing. Sooner or later, they will be completed. I am only making changes according to the situation and the trend, not giving up!”

Seiryū glanced sideways at Tsunade and shook his head. ”This is my unique wisdom, which a person like you, with big breasts and no brains, cannot understand.”

Tsunade: ”?”

”Fine, fine, fine. You are really becoming more and more presumptuous. You dare to say such things to my face!”

”Slip of the tongue. Let me change my wording first. It’s ’long hair, short insight’!”

”You’re asking for a beating!”

Tsunade was instantly furious, raised her tender white fist, and struck at him!

”Heh, you actually want to use taijutsu to hit a shinobi who has mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique. I think what I said just now was not wrong!”

”Bastard, don’t run if you have the ability!”

”I’m not you. I have a brain.”

”I f***ing.”

The two of them chased and fled.

But no matter how Tsunade pursued him, she could never touch a hair on Seiryū’s head.

In the end, she only made herself furious.

Seiryū shook his head with a look of disappointment. ”You’re already quite. You’re an adult, so how can you still act like a child? Look at you, where is the dignity of the future Fourth Hokage?”

Tsunade’s fist crunched, and her eyes became even more unfriendly.

But she did not continue to attack.

Instead, she noted this matter down!

Thinking back to not long ago, in her love-hate relationship with Seiryū, she could still have the upper hand.

Now, she could no longer handle him.

Since force was not working, she could only think of other methods in the future.

Anyway, there was plenty of time, and she did not worry about not having a chance to retaliate in the future!

”Little one, you still want to fight with me? The offense and defense have switched. Bad woman, from now on, it’s my turn to handle you, and this is just the beginning!”

Seiryū hummed twice.

He was in a great mood!

The days of being oppressed and bullied were gone forever. The tables had turned. It was his turn to turn the tables and become the master!

Tsunade only said viciously, ”Remember this, brat. You’ll have a hard time in the future!”

”Tsk tsk, I’m waiting. Whatever ability you have, just show it. I’ll take any move!”

Seiryū did not care.

Did she still think he was that weak Genin from before?

”Hmph!”

Tsunade snorted lightly, too lazy to pay attention to Seiryū.

She looked at Yahiko and Konan, who had returned, and said, ”Are the arrangements made?”

”They are already arranged, Tsunade-sama.”

Yahiko’s gossiping gaze swept between Tsunade and Seiryū.

Then he said respectfully, ”I’ve caused you trouble. I’m really sorry.”

”I didn’t do anything. This was just that brat dragging me over to help deal with the enemy.”

Tsunade waved her hand, then looked at Seiryū and snorted coldly. ”What are you standing there for? Do you want us to run back to Konoha?”

Seiryū said vigilantly, ”I’m afraid that if I go over, your fist will hit me. I have to stay alert and respond!”

”I won’t hit you!”

”I don’t believe it!”

Tsunade took a deep breath, the veins on her forehead throbbing, and her lungs about to explode with anger!

It was just that she could not catch Seiryū. Otherwise.

She swore she would smash this brat’s head!

After taking a few deep breaths, Tsunade calmed down, glared at Seiryū, and said word by word, ”I! Really! Won’t! Hit! You!”

”You swear!”

”I. you.”

”No sincerity at all. Forget it, I’m a magnanimous person, so I won’t hold it against you.”

The smile on Seiryū’s face was very punchable.

He was very happy in his heart.

Bad woman, you have today too!

However she handled him before, he would handle her back double in the future!

The ”grudges” against Tsunade in his little notebook had been recorded quite a bit, and his ”revenge” had just begun.

You’ll have a hard time in the future!

He, Seiryū, was very vengeful!

...

The distance from the Land of Rain to Konoha was not short.

Bringing several people along, Seiryū could not rush back to Konoha in one go.

Fortunately, every time he reached a place, Seiryū would leave some Flying Thunder God Marks.

It was to make traveling easier.

At this moment, they came in handy.

He used the Flying Thunder God Technique several times in succession, consuming quite a bit of Dragon Vein Chakra, and then arrived at Konoha.

Even if Seiryū fell on hard times in the future,

having this trick to deliver packages and takeout would allow Seiryū to live without worrying about food or clothing!

Actually, he would not fall on hard times.

He was the future Hokage Assistant, one person below and above ten thousand, and a little bit of profit would be enough for the rest of his life.

Marrying a few wives and having a dozen concubines would be more than enough!

Besides, there were not that many people he liked that he could marry!

Right now, there were only Tsunade, Kurenai, Rin, Sāra, and Hina, who did not know if she counted.

It was just a pity that he was not in the same era as Uzuki Yūgao, Hinata, Hanabi, Ino, Tenten, Shion.

And he was not in the same village as Mei Terumī, Pakura, Ajisai, Samui.

Otherwise, he would like them all too!

Seiryū sighed, feeling a bit like he had been born at the wrong time. ”Sigh, what a pity!”

”What’s a pity?”

Tsunade vaguely felt that Seiryū was thinking about something that would make her angry, and she looked over leisurely.

Seiryū said righteously, ”It’s a pity that I am not strong enough yet, and I actually cannot arrive at Konoha directly from the Land of Rain, wasting precious minutes.”

”How many minutes are there in a lifetime? I am heartbroken over the time wasted!”

Yahiko and Konan felt speechless.

As they interacted more, they felt more and more that this nominal junior brother was a bit strange.

This brain and thought process were different from ordinary people.

He could always say things they found hard to understand.

Tsunade sighed helplessly. ”I’ll give you a detailed check-up later. I found that your illness is getting more and more serious.”

”It might be the aftereffects of opening the Eight Inner Gates Formation, affecting your brain.”

”Illness?”

Yahiko and Konan looked at Seiryū with suspicious eyes.

So Seiryū was sick?

That explained some of Seiryū’s occasional behavior.

They suddenly understood!

Seiryū did not want to dwell on this anymore. He just pouted and said, ”You’ve been saying this for so many years, always saying I’m sick, but haven’t I been fine all this time?”

Tsunade chuckled. ”It’s my fault I can’t cure you. My medical skills still need improvement, but I won’t give up. Sooner or later, one day, I will cure you. This is one of my few dreams!”

Seiryū: ”...”

You’re the one who’s sick, right!

He was not sick, so what was there to cure?

Seiryū glanced at Tsunade and said, ”Too lazy to talk to you. I’ll go home first to report that I’m safe, and I’ll eat at your place tonight. Kurenai and I will go over later.”

”I’ll leave it to you to arrange things for Senpai and Senior Sister. After I recover some Chakra, I will treat Nagato-senpai. Sensei doesn’t seem to be in Konoha, so find a way to notify him. I’m leaving first. Bye!”

After speaking, he waved his hand.

Seiryū flashed away from here.

Watching Seiryū, who had already left, Tsunade cursed with a dark face, ”Bastard kid, he’s actually ordering me around. Is he the future Hokage or am I the future Hokage?”

Tsunade was very angry.

Even if Seiryū did not admit that he was her disciple, to the outside world, they were in a Sensei-disciple relationship!

Even without mentioning this point.

She was also the future Fourth Hokage!

This kid was actually ordering her, the future Hokage, around?

This was simply turning the world upside down, a subordinate ordering a superior!

Yahiko, Konan: ”...”

The way these two got along was really not right!

They clearly heard that these two were in a Sensei-disciple relationship.

(To be continued.)
