The Captain's Dirty Little Secret

Chapter 300: Chapter 300 - It Counts Enough I (R)

Roxie took a breath and followed him.

Zac was already on the couch, sitting exactly where she had told him to sit, but nothing about him looked calm. His legs were spread. His hands were braced on his thighs. His hair was a mess from running his fingers through it, and his eyes stayed on her the second she stepped closer.

He looked like he wanted to move.

He looked like he was forcing himself to stay still.

That helped.

Roxie stopped in front of him, close enough that his knees almost touched her legs. Her heart was beating so fast that she could feel it in her throat. All through dinner, teasing him had made her feel brave. Now that he was sitting there waiting, the bravery started shaking.

Zac noticed because he always noticed the worst possible things.

His voice softened. ”Rox.”

”I’m fine.”

”Yeah?”

”Yes.”

He nodded once, but his eyes stayed careful. ”You can stop.”

”I know.”

She hated how much that helped.

Roxie reached for her phone on the side table and tapped the screen until soft music filled the living room. It was low, slow, and almost embarrassing because now the room felt different. The plates were still on the table. The kitchen still smelled like dinner. Zac was still hard in his jeans because of what she had done to him under the table.

And now she was going to dance for him.

She almost laughed at herself.

Zac’s mouth twitched, like he saw the thought cross her face. ”What?”

”Nothing.”

”You’re thinking again.”

”I’m trying to be sexy.”

His eyes moved over her, slow and heavy. ”It’s working.”

The simple honesty hit her harder than it should have.

Roxie swallowed and started to move.

At first, it felt stupid. She knew how to move her body. She was a cheerleader. She had performed in front of crowds, smiled under stadium lights, danced while people screamed from bleachers. But this was different. There was no routine here. No team. No count in her head. Just Zac on her couch, looking at her like every small movement was doing something to him.

She rolled her hips slowly, hands sliding down her sides over the fitted shirt and the small shorts she had chosen in the bedroom. Zac’s eyes followed her hands. His fingers flexed against his thighs, but he kept them there.

Roxie saw it.

Her confidence flickered brighter.

She turned a little, letting the movement shift through her hips, slower this time. The hem of her shorts rode higher. Zac’s breathing changed. She heard it, even under the music, and the sound went straight between her legs.

”You’re very quiet,” she said.

Zac’s jaw tightened. ”Trying to behave.”

”Good.”

His eyes lifted to hers. ”You like that?”

Roxie stepped closer until her knees brushed the couch between his legs. ”Maybe.”

He looked up at her, and there was so much want in his face that it almost scared her. The kind that made her feel powerful and nervous at the same time. He had touched her before. Kissed her. Made her shake. But this was different because she was choosing to stand in front of him and make him watch.

She wanted him to look.

She wanted him to lose his mind because of her.

Roxie lifted one knee onto the cushion beside his hip, then the other, straddling him without fully sitting. Zac’s hands came up automatically.

She caught his wrists before he touched her.

His eyes snapped to hers.

”Not yet,” she whispered.

His throat moved. ”Okay.”

She pressed his hands back down to his thighs and started moving again, hips rolling slowly above him. She kept herself just out of full contact, close enough for his heat to reach her through the rough denim, close enough to feel how hard he was, but still teasing.

Zac stared down between them for one second, then back at her face.

”Fuck,” he breathed.

Roxie smiled, and the smile felt less nervous this time. She braced her hands on his shoulders and let her hips roll lower. The first real brush against him made her breath catch. The thick ridge of his cock pressed up through his jeans, hard and hot even through the fabric.

Zac’s hands curled into fists on his thighs.

Roxie moved again.

His head tipped back against the couch.

That did something to her. Seeing him like that. Zac, who always wanted control, sitting there with his hands locked on his own legs because she told him to wait.

She leaned closer, lips brushing his ear. ”Still behaving?”

”Barely.”

”Good.”

His laugh came out broken.

Roxie sat a little heavier on his lap and dragged herself along the hard shape of him. The pressure hit her clit through the thin fabric of her shorts, and she had to stop for half a second because it felt better than she expected.

Zac noticed. His eyes darkened.

”Roxie.”

She lifted her chin. ”What?”

”You felt that.”

Her face burned. ”Shut up.”

”You did.”

Instead of answering, she rolled against him again.

This time, both of them made a sound.

Zac’s hands shot up, but he stopped himself halfway. Roxie saw the effort. Saw his fingers hover near her waist before he forced them back down.

That ruined her a little.

She kissed him.

Zac made a rough sound against her mouth but still kept his hands down, and somehow that made the kiss hotter. His restraint felt like a hand around her spine. She could feel how badly he wanted to grab her, but he was letting her lead. Letting her take her time. Letting her be brave at her own speed.

Roxie pulled back first.

His mouth followed hers.

She smiled. ”Still not yet.”

His eyes squeezed shut for a second. ”You’re killing me.”

”I know.”

She slid off his lap and stood between his knees again. Zac’s eyes followed her like he was afraid to blink.

Roxie grabbed the hem of her shirt.

Her hands shook a little.

Zac saw that too, because of course he did.

His voice went quiet. ”Hey.”

She paused.

”You don’t have to make it perfect.”

Her throat tightened.

She hated him a little for saying the exact thing she needed.

”I know,” she said.

Then she pulled the shirt over her head.

Zac’s breath left him.

Roxie had left her bra in the bedroom because apparently, she had lost her mind earlier. Now she was standing in front of him with her breasts bare, nipples tight from the cold air and from the way he looked at her. Zac’s eyes dropped, then lifted to her face, then dropped again like he was trying to be respectful and failing badly.

Roxie laughed under her breath.

That sound broke something in him.

”You’re laughing?”

”You look stupid.”

”I feel stupid.”

”Good stupid?”

His eyes moved over her again. ”Painfully good stupid.”

The words warmed her enough to keep going. Roxie hooked her thumbs into the waistband of her shorts. Zac went completely still.

She pushed them down slowly.

His gaze followed every inch.

The shorts slid over her hips and down her thighs. She stepped out of them and kicked them aside, leaving herself completely naked in front of him.

Zac stared.

Roxie’s face burned, but she made herself stay there.

She had already let him see her before. Last night had changed something between them. But this was different. This time there was light. Space. Music. Time for him to look without the cover of desperate kissing.

His voice came out rough. ”Roxie.”

”What?”

”You’re beautiful.”

She looked away because the words hit too directly.

”Come here,” he said, then stopped himself. ”Please.”

The please got her.

Roxie stepped back between his legs and climbed onto his lap again. This time, there was nothing between her skin and his jeans. The rough fabric brushed the inside of her thighs, and she shivered before she could hide it.

Zac’s hands twitched.

She took them and placed them on her waist.

His fingers closed around her carefully, almost too carefully, like he was scared to ruin the moment.

”You can touch me,” she said.

His eyes lifted to hers. ”Yeah?”

”Yes.”

That was all he needed.

His hands slid up her sides slowly, thumbs brushing the undersides of her breasts. Roxie’s breath caught. Zac watched her face while he touched her, careful at first, then less careful when she leaned into him. His palms covered her breasts, and his thumbs moved over her nipples until her hips rocked against him without permission.

The denim dragged against her wetness.

Zac felt it.

His eyes went dark.

”You’re wet.”

Roxie tried to glare at him, but it came out weaker than she wanted. ”You noticed?”

”Yeah,” he said, voice rough. ”I noticed.”

She kissed him again because she had no answer for that. Zac kissed her back hard, hands moving down to her hips, guiding her into another slow grind over his lap. The pressure through his jeans felt good, but after a few strokes, Roxie wanted more.

She wanted to feel his skin.

She pulled back and reached for the button of his jeans.

Zac froze. ”Rox.”

”What?”

”You sure?”

She nodded.

His breath shook.

Roxie undid the button, then the zipper, slower than she needed to because his reaction made her braver. Zac lifted his hips when she tugged, helping her push the jeans down enough to get them off. It was awkward for a second. One pant leg caught around his ankle, and Roxie started laughing while Zac cursed and kicked it free.

The laugh helped.

It made the room feel like them again.

Then he yanked his shirt over his head and threw it somewhere near the chair.

Roxie looked at him.

Bare chest. Messy hair. Swollen mouth. Boxers tented so hard it looked painful.

Her nerves came back with heat wrapped around them.

Zac noticed. ”Still okay?”

”Yes.”

She climbed back onto him.

This time, when she settled over his lap, her bare folds pressed against the hard ridge trapped in his boxers. The fabric was softer than the jeans, already damp where he had leaked through them. Roxie gasped before she could stop herself.

Zac’s hands gripped her waist.

”Fuck,” he said.

She moved slowly, and the pressure hit better now. Wetter. Closer. The thick shape of him slid against her clit through the thin fabric, and every roll of her hips made her stomach tighten.

Zac watched where they touched.

Roxie watched him watching.

That made it worse.

She reached down and hooked her fingers into the waistband of his boxers.

Zac’s hands tightened. ”Roxie.”

She stopped. ”What?”

His chest moved hard with every breath. ”If you take those off, we have to be careful.”

The words should have cooled her.

They didn’t.

They made everything feel more real.

”I know,” she whispered.

”I mean it.” His eyes held hers. ”I’m not wearing anything.”

”I know.”

His jaw tightened. ”You can still grind on me. Just careful.”

The fact that he was trying to think when he looked half ruined made her chest ache.

She pulled his boxers down.

His cock sprang free, thick and flushed, already wet at the head. It hit low against his stomach, leaving a shine on his skin. Roxie stared because she could not help it.

Zac’s mouth twitched even though his breathing was uneven. ”You okay?”

”It looks bigger like this.”

A rough laugh broke out of him. ”That is not helping.”

”It’s true.”

”Rox.”

She wrapped her hand around him, just enough to feel the heat and weight. Zac’s eyes shut. His head dropped back against the couch.

That reaction made her pulse beat harder.

She guided him down between them and settled over him again, careful like he said. The first bare slide of his cock against her folds made both of them go still.

Skin to skin.

Roxie’s hand tightened on his shoulder. He felt hot against her. Like branding her as his. Roxie moaned as her hand tightened on his shoulder.

”Zac...”
