The Captain's Dirty Little Secret

Chapter 286: Chapter 286 - Bare I (R)

Roxie nodded, but Zac stayed still.

”Say it, Rox.”

Her chest rose fast beneath him. ”Yes.”

That word changed his face. The want was still there, heavy in his eyes, but something careful moved through it too, like he knew this mattered more now because they had lost each other once already.

He sat back just enough to pull her upright. Roxie lifted her arms, and he peeled the shirt over her head slowly, careful with her hair, careful with the way her breath hitched when the cold air touched her bare skin. His fingers moved to the clasp of her bra next.

He looked at her before opening it.

Roxie almost laughed because he was being so careful it hurt. Before the breakup, Zac would have been shaking with want, trying to slow himself down and failing. Now he looked like every touch had to earn its place back.

”You can,” she whispered.

His jaw tightened. He unhooked the bra and slid it from her shoulders.

For a few seconds, Zac did nothing.

He only stared.

Roxie’s face heated. He had seen her breasts before. He had touched them, kissed them, made her arch under him with his mouth. But after the breakup, after all the things they had said and done to each other, being bare in front of him felt different. It felt like handing him something bruised and asking him to be gentle with it.

His eyes moved over her slowly, and his mouth softened.

Then he grinned, small and wrecked.

”Missed those too.”

Roxie’s breath broke into a laugh. ”Zac.”

”What?” His hands slid carefully around her waist. ”I did.”

”You’re ridiculous.”

”I’m honest.”

The stupid answer loosened something tight in her chest.

He eased her back down onto the couch and followed her, bracing one hand beside her head while his mouth lowered to her breast. The first touch of his tongue made her eyes close. He circled her nipple slowly, then sucked it between his lips, gentle at first, then harder when her back lifted from the cushion.

Roxie’s fingers sank into his hoodie.

She had missed this too. His mouth. His weight. The way he made her body feel remembered and new at the same time.

Zac switched sides after a while, taking his time like he had nowhere else to be. His hand cupped the breast his mouth had left, thumb brushing the wet, tight peak until she made a soft sound she could barely control. He looked up when she did, eyes darkening as if every noise fed him.

The ache between her legs kept building. It was sharp now, almost embarrassing, made worse by how slow he was being. Roxie shifted beneath him, thighs pressing together.

Zac noticed immediately.

His mouth paused against her breast, and his eyes dropped down her body.

Heat rushed into her face, but Roxie slipped one hand down her stomach anyway. Her fingers reached the waistband of her shorts, and Zac went still above her.

She pushed under the fabric.

The first touch made her inhale sharply. She was wet already, slick from his mouth and from the way he kept looking at her like he still could not believe she was his again. Her fingers moved in slow circles, and her hips rolled before she could stop them.

A rough sound left Zac’s throat.

”Roxie.”

She should have been embarrassed enough to pull her hand away. Instead, his reaction made her braver. She kept touching herself while he watched, her fingers moving under the fabric where he could only see the shape of her hand and the small lift of her hips.

His breathing turned uneven.

He lowered his mouth back to her breast, but he was distracted now. Every time her fingers moved faster, he sucked harder. Every time she gasped, his hips pressed into the couch like he was trying to hold himself still.

Roxie pushed one finger inside herself.

Zac groaned like she had touched him.

”You’re thinking about me,” he said, voice rough.

Her face burned.

His eyes lifted to hers. ”Aren’t you?”

Roxie nodded.

”Say it.”

She swallowed, fingers still moving under her shorts. ”I’m thinking about your fingers.”

Zac’s eyes went darker. His jaw tightened, and for a moment he looked like those words alone had almost ruined him.

Roxie curled her finger, chasing the pressure she needed. It felt good, but it still felt wrong because it was her own hand. She wanted his. She wanted to know what his face would look like the first time he touched her there. She wanted the risk of being known by him in a way he had never known her before.

She pulled her hand free.

Zac’s eyes dropped to her fingers.

They were wet.

For a few breaths, neither of them moved.

Then Roxie reached for his hand.

His expression changed immediately. ”Rox.”

”I want you.”

His throat moved. ”Are you sure?”

”Yes.”

”Tell me if I need to stop.”

”I will.”

She guided his hand down herself, pushing it past the waistband of her shorts. The second his palm touched her bare heat, Zac’s breath punched out of him.

His eyes dropped to where his wrist disappeared under the fabric.

Roxie watched him watching.

His hand cupped her fully for the first time ever. The heel of his palm pressed over her mound while his fingers settled against her, careful and still for a moment like he needed to understand what he was feeling.

She shivered hard.

”Fuck,” he whispered. ”Roxie.”

His middle finger moved first, slow and unsure. He brushed over her clit once, then again, and her hips jumped into his hand.

Zac’s mouth parted.

”Holy shit.”

The way he said it made her blush worse because he sounded stunned. No teasing. No confidence. Just Zac staring at his own hand under her shorts like touching her there had knocked every thought out of him.

His finger slid lower, tracing through her wetness, then dragged back up to circle her clit again. Roxie’s eyes rolled, and a broken sound slipped from her throat.

Zac kept watching. The fabric shifted with every careful movement of his fingers, hiding everything and showing enough to make both of them breathe harder. His knuckles pressed against the waistband. His wrist moved slowly. Roxie’s thighs trembled around him.

”You’re so wet,” he said.

She covered her face with one hand.

Zac stopped at once. ”Sorry.”

”No.” Roxie grabbed his wrist before he could pull away. ”Keep going.”

His eyes lifted to hers. ”Yeah?”

”Yeah.”

He touched her again, firmer now, rubbing slow circles over her clit before dipping lower to gather more of her wetness. Roxie watched with him, face hot, body reacting to every glide of his finger. This was new. His hand discovering her. Her body answering. Both of them staring like they could barely believe they were finally doing this.

Zac dipped lower again, parting her just enough under the shorts to feel more of her.

His jaw clenched.

”I’ve never...” He stopped and breathed hard. ”Fuck, you feel unreal.”

Roxie placed her hand over the back of his and pressed him closer.

Zac looked at her face. The desire was still there, heavy and obvious, but something softer came through it. Something that made her chest ache because he understood this was bigger than just touching.

”I want you to see,” she whispered.

His hand went still.

”You mean that?”

She nodded, then forced herself to say it. ”Yes.”

Roxie’s hands found the waistband of her shorts. Her fingers shook as she pushed them down with her panties. Zac helped her slowly, easing the fabric over her hips and down her legs until she was bare beneath him.

He sat back between her thighs.

His cock strained hard against his jeans, but he barely seemed aware of it. His eyes were on her.

Roxie’s whole body burned.

”Beautiful,” he said.

The word came out rough. Almost helpless.

His hands settled on her knees and guided them wider. Roxie let him, even though her stomach twisted from nerves. This felt different from him touching her breasts. Different from his hand under fabric. Now he could actually see her.

The moment his gaze dropped lower, her hands flew down to cover herself.

Zac looked up right away.

His hands stilled on her thighs. ”We can stop.”

There was no frustration in his voice.

A small, wrecked smile tugged at his mouth. ”I already got more than I deserve.”

That line hit harder than the heat in his eyes.

He looked grateful. That was what made her chest tighten like seeing her for even a second was already more than he expected to get back after everything.

Slowly, Roxie moved her hands away.

She let them fall to her sides and stayed there, breathing hard, letting him look.

Zac’s eyes dropped again.

He only looked at first.

Roxie felt the silence everywhere. His breathing. The weight of his stare. The way his eyes moved over the part of her no one had ever seen like this. She wanted to close her legs, but his knees were between them and his hands were warm on her thighs, holding her open without forcing her.

”Zac,” she whispered.

His eyes lifted to hers.

”I’m looking,” he said, voice rough. ”That’s all.”

That made her blush burn hotter.

His gaze dropped again, slower this time, like he was trying to understand her. His thumbs brushed along the insides of her thighs, and her body gave a small helpless twitch when he moved closer.

”Still okay?” he asked.

She nodded.

His eyes stayed on hers. ”Words, Rox.”

”Yes.”

His jaw tightened like the answer hurt him in the best way.

He looked down again, then used two fingers to part her gently.

Roxie almost covered herself again.

The cool air touched her first, right against all that wet heat, and her hips twitched before she could stop them. Zac saw it. His fingers stilled, keeping her open without pressing too hard, and his breathing turned rough.

For a long moment, he only stared.

Roxie felt exposed down to her bones. Her hands curled into the couch cushions, and her whole body flushed under his look.

”Zac,” she whispered again.

”I know.” His voice sounded wrecked. ”I’m just looking.”
