The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 1023: Chapter 1023: The First Phase of Treatment

For people from Xu Beishan’s branch, Xu Miaoxiu and others were not really concerned, just chatted a few words and didn’t bring it up again.

The topic eventually returned to Xu Shaohui. Lin Tian first prepared a course of medication to boost Xu Shaohui’s physical resistance.

Xu Shaohui has been taking medicine for five years, developing a strong resistance to it, so only strong medicine can work miracles.

Once the medicine was ready, Miaoqiu took Xiang Ming to decoct it. The little guy swaggered a bit to Lin Tian before leaving, implying he got some alone time with the goddess.

As for Lin Tian, he went back to the ward with Xv Baiping and performed another acupuncture session on Xu Shaohui.

”Lin Tian, how is it going?” Xv Baiping asked.

She was born into an ancient martial arts family and was originally proficient in ancient medicine. Since Xu Shaohui’s illness worsened, her medical skills had improved daily, but she couldn’t understand Lin Tian’s acupuncture techniques, not even some of the acupuncture points.

However, she didn’t doubt Lin Tian’s medical skills. Although she didn’t care about the outside world, her daughter had told her about Lin Tian, and she had read some news about him.

”Haha, Uncle’s current physical condition is still the same. My acupuncture just makes it easier for him to accept the decoction.” Lin Tian said with a smile.

Soon, Miaoqiu’s medicine was ready. When she brought it over, Xiang Ming hid behind her from a distance, pinching his nose with a look of disdain.

Indeed, the medicine was very foul-smelling, to be precise, it was fishy and hard to swallow just from the smell, let alone drink it.

”Lin Tian, this medicine is red and so fishy, could it be spoiled?” Miaoqiu asked with a frown, holding her breath with her inner strength to endure for a long time.

There was no other way, the smell of the medicine made her want to vomit.

Lin Tian was indifferent, grinning with a smile showing his white teeth: ”Good medicine tastes bitter, the stronger the smell, the better.”

”But this smell is too strange.” As Miaoqiu spoke, she caught another whiff of the odor, making her stomach churn and wanting to find a trash can to empty her breakfast.

”Give it to me, I’ll feed it.” Lin Tian said, taking the bowl of red decoction. The soup was clear, but the bottom of the bowl had some dregs.

Xv Baiping, who was used to dealing with medicinal herbs daily, furrowed her brows after smelling it. Imitating Xiang Ming’s action, she pinched her nose and couldn’t help but glance at the bowl. The color was peculiar, and although worried inside, she didn’t question further. Besides Lin Tian, there was no one else to trust now.

Fortunately, Xu Shaohui was currently in a coma, numb to everything, so the process of feeding him went very smoothly.

”This medicine contains croton and a small amount of rhubarb, and its effects are strong, so uncle will have a stomach upset later.” Lin Tian said.

”Ah? Upset stomach? My Dad’s body is so weak now, how can he have diarrhea?” Miaoqiu asked in shock, with a tone that carried some blame.

Lin Tian explained with a smile: ”How can it be called strong medicine if it’s not potent? Ancient medicine treats the root cause. Although Uncle’s body is weak, there’s accumulated food in his stomach. Lightly cleanse the intestines with the medicine just consumed, to remove some of the viruses in the body, so that we can proceed to the next steps.”

Miaoqiu looked worriedly at her father on the bed, his body so skinny it lacked even two ounces of flesh, but his belly was swollen, clearly agreeing with Lin Tian’s statement.

At this moment, Xv Baiping said from the side: ”Let’s listen to Lin Tian about this matter, we mother and daughter should just do as he says.”

Miaoqiu nodded lightly, with a worried look on her face.

”Don’t worry, after having diarrhea, feed Uncle a bowl of hot porridge and a Qi Increasing Elixir, and he’ll recover in no time.” Lin Tian said.

”Can Qi Increasing Elixirs also treat illnesses?” Miaoqiu questioned.

Lin Tian nodded, ”Your Xu Family cultivates Spiritual Qi, which is much better than Inner Strength, and its self-healing abilities are naturally much better than other families. By then, I’ll use my Spiritual Qi to help regulate him, and he will be much better.”

About half an hour later, Xu Shaohui indeed had a stomach upset, and Lin Tian quickly pressed a few acupuncture points on him, fearing he’d soil himself, then carried him on his back and dashed towards the toilet.

The Xu Family Stream’s house, despite its traditional Luan Continent architecture with black tiles, was very modern, the toilet had a sitting commode. Lin Tian removed Xu Shaohui’s trousers and unlocked the acupuncture points, and heard a loud noise, like a dam opened, water gushed out.

Such a torrent.

The foul stench instantly filled the entire bathroom, even escaping out the window.

Even with Lin Tian’s body shielded by Spiritual Qi, he couldn’t bear it and vomited at the sink.

This smell was too darn stimulating!

The stench wasn’t confined to the bathroom; it drifted outside. Miaoqiu, wearing a mask, was ten meters away, asked through the door: ”Lin Tian, why don’t you come out first?”

”If I leave, your dad will fall. I’ll wait a moment to... ugh...”

After emptying his stomach, Lin Tian quickly used Spiritual Qi to seal off the vital acupuncture points, temporarily shutting off his sense of smell, or else he might vomit out stomach acid.

Even though he sealed the sense of smell, just thinking of that smell made Lin Tian gag.

After Xu Shaohui had almost finished venting, Lin Tian washed his face and carried him back out again.

Just that their complexions were pale and green, the latter being Lin Tian, nearly stunk to death.

The little guy, Xiang Ming, sitting in a rocking chair, drinking freshly squeezed orange juice was laughing at Lin Tian, his schadenfreude made Lin Tian’s teeth chatter in anger.

”Xiang Ming.” Xv Baiping called softly.

”Auntie, what’s up?”

”Go to the yard and practice horse stance for three hours.”

The little guy’s face turned green too, pouting he asked: ”Why?”

Xv Baiping did not answer, just said softly: ”Four hours!”

”Alright, alright, I’ll go!” Xiang Ming chugged his orange juice, reluctantly got up from the rocking chair, and headed outside.

”Hahaha, make sure your horse stance is steady, or it won’t count, stand for an extra three hours.”

Hearing the laughter, Xiang Yang looked back, seeing Lin Tian’s smug face, grinding his teeth in anger.

”Serves you right, for laughing at me.” Lin Tian said proudly.

Lin Tian continued to show off while making faces, infuriating Xiang Yang, but he dared not defy his aunt’s words.

After Xiang Ming left, Lin Tian handed Xu Shaohui over to the nurse, telling him to take a bath to wash off the awful smell.

Then, Miaoqiu approached with a set of clean clothes, handed them to Lin Tian, saying: ”You should also have a wash, throw away those clothes.”

Lin Tian took the clothes, unfolded them to see a set of loose gray training attire, smelling the light fragrance of Miaoqiu. He jokingly asked: ”Your clothes?”

”My old training clothes, they’re quite loose, they should fit you.” Miaoqiu said.

Lin Tian chuckled, saying: ”If I wasn’t so smelly now, I’d want to kiss you, you’re so considerate.”

Miaoqiu blushed slightly, narrowed her eyes charmingly, and said coyly: ”I’ll let you kiss enough tonight.”
