The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 693: Chapter 693: He Asked Me Out

”You’re really too clumsy! Have you forgotten about us going on stage a couple of days ago? Let me tell you, someone just called me, asking me and Pan Die to shoot an MV together. Of course, since you’re part of the street dance club, you get to bask in my glory and join in as well. How about that, aren’t you excited?” Zhou Mi said proudly.

Lin Tian was a bit speechless. He had already been invited by Jiang Pan Die personally, and she had even pleaded with him.

Isn’t Zhou Mi just showing off in front of someone who doesn’t need it?

Of course, Lin Tian didn’t want to dampen her enthusiasm, so he just went along and said, ”I really have to thank you then, being able to shoot an MV with a big star.”

”No need to thank me, just treat me to a big meal and that’ll be enough. Hahaha...”

Lin Tian could only offer a wry smile and nod, ”No problem, even if you want to eat at the Celestial Dragon Hotel, it’s fine.”

”That’s what you said, no backing out.” Zhou Mi was obviously in a great mood, she said excitedly, ”Also, Pan Die will discuss the details with me. I’ll bring you along then, so tell me, am I not good to you?”

Actually, Zhou Mi felt too nervous to meet her idol alone, bringing Lin Tian along might make it easier.

Lin Tian stifled a laugh with difficulty and quickly said, ”That’s great, I’m so touched I’m going to cry.”

”Don’t cry, it almost seems like I’m harassing you. Just treat me to one more big meal and it’ll be fine.”

What else could Lin Tian say? He could only agree.

After chatting a bit more with Zhou Mi, she said she would share this good news with everyone, then hung up.

Just after the call was disconnected, Lin Tian’s phone rang again. Looking down, it was actually a call from Jiang Pan Die.

”Hello, Lin Tian, who were you on the phone with? It’s been busy,” Jiang Pan Die asked.

Lin Tian originally thought he misheard and asked again, ”A friend, what’s up? Do you have something urgent, trying to call me?”

”No urgency, I was just too bored, bored out of my mind.”

”...”

”I was so bored that during the day, I already finished what you asked me to do, agreed to let your street dance club help me shoot an MV. How is it, am I efficient?”

Lin Tian rolled his eyes, a whole day had passed, and she called this efficient.

”I’m telling you, your street dance club will help me shoot one MV, and you have to help me shoot another one as the lead actor, two in total, no backing out,” Jiang Pan Die said.

”The street dance club has a lot of people, I won’t join the fun for that one. But the leading actor one is fine.”

”Hmph, I knew you’d say that. Alright, we’ll talk about these things later. It’s too boring being cooped up in a room alone, ever since I got popular, I almost haven’t had a good time going out. But now, with that mask, I can do whatever I want again. How about it? Interested in going out shopping with me?”

Hearing about shopping made Lin Tian remember the times he went shopping with Liou Qingcheng before. It was simply torturous, he quickly shook his head, ”No way! Can’t you find some good girlfriends to shop with?”

”My girlfriends... aren’t in Kanyue City. Tong, she’s too boring.”

”But I think shopping is boring.”

”Then how about we go to a bar? I haven’t been since I graduated. Or we can go elsewhere, you pick a spot?”

”We can go out, but I have to bring someone else, Zhou Mi. Discuss the MV along the way,” Lin Tian said.

”Huh? Someone else?”

In truth, when having to bring someone else, Jiang Pan Die wasn’t too happy, especially since it was a beauty like Zhou Mi. But since Lin Tian said so, she couldn’t exactly protest.

”You’re really a busy person, going out to play and still talking business,” Jiang Pan Die complained.

Lin Tian forced a smile, saying that he was busy, needing to quickly improve his skills, doesn’t that count as busy?

After the two agreed on a time and place, they hung up.

”Hey, Zhou Mi, are you free tonight?”

”Yeah, what’s up?”

”Going out! Give me an address, I’ll come pick you up now.”

”Oh, the address is...”

”Wait there, I’m coming to pick you up now. I’ll give you a surprise later.”

Staring at the disconnected phone in a daze, Zhou Mi hadn’t reacted yet.

Did Lin Tian just ask me out?

”Ah!”

Probably too excited, she jumped onto the sofa wearing slippers, like a little madman, bouncing and shouting.

”Stop, stop!” Sitting on the sofa, Zhou Tang wasn’t pleased, he quickly stood up, grabbing Zhou Mi’s hand, pulling her down.

”Zhou Mi! Are you crazy? This is a genuine leather sofa, cost your brother forty thousand! If you break it, can you replace it?” Zhou Tang tapped Zhou Mi on the head, then curiously asked, ”What happened, why are you so happy?”

”Brother!” Zhou Mi put her hands on Zhou Tang’s shoulders, shaking him crazily, ”He asked me out! He asked me out!”

”Hmm?” Zhou Tang raised an eyebrow, ”Who?”

”Lin Tian! My idol! Even said he has a surprise for me.”

”The one from school who was on TV? Doesn’t he already have a girlfriend? Now he’s hitting on you, for sure he’s a scumbag! And you, still chasing after that kind of guy?” Zhou Tang said.

”You don’t understand, he’s just asking me out to hang out as normal friends, you know? Just friends, and you think it like that, you’re so dirty-minded.”

”How could I not understand? I’ve had over a dozen relationships, with experience way beyond yours, him asking you out must mean he has ill intentions!” Zhou Tang said very seriously.

”Nah, with over a dozen relationships, I think you’re the scumbag here, huh?”

The two locked eyes, neither willing to back down.

Suddenly, Zhou Tang leaned back on the sofa, calmly asking, ”Hey, do you really like that kid?”

”I do.”

”Why do you like him?”

”Haven’t you seen his news? Handsome, skilled in medicine. Most importantly, he can stand up at critical moments. Last time when Li Tianmu came to surround me, and the street dance matter a few days ago, he helped me out. Look at him, that’s what you call a true hero.”

Zhou Mi’s eyes narrowed, as if sparkling like stars, she said, ”What do they say? Love arises unknowingly, and goes deep like a plunge!”

”Tsk, even quoting literature now. Since you like him, I’ll come along tonight to see if he’s up to the mark.” Zhou Tang said.

”No way!” Zhou Mi shouted, ”He asked me out, why would you tag along? Be a third wheel?”

”To protect you. What if that guy is really a scumbag?”

”Don’t worry. Don’t you know my skills? How many guys can take me down?” Zhou Mi said, though a bit sheepishly.

Zhou Tang covered his face, heaving a sigh. ”Yes, not many can. If you want to deal with him at that time, he wouldn’t even have the power to resist...”

”Zhou Tang! Am I that much of a thug?!”

”Yes!”
