The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 672: Chapter 672: Choreography Stolen

”Fake Monk” is a classic rock song.

Singing it a cappella can’t convey the ups and downs of the chorus.

However, Meng Nan’s voice doesn’t need accompaniment. It starts off airy and gradually turns hoarse, leaving people with a stunning impression.

Still waters run deep, and Cangseng steps with song.

After the song ended, Meng Nan stayed immersed in the music, swaying his head with closed eyes.

Suddenly, he opened his eyes and saw Lin Tian and Li looking at him in astonishment, their faces a picture of shock.

”How did I sing?” Probably because he had just screamed too hard, his cheeks were still a bit red.

”Awesome!” Li exclaimed, genuinely stunned. To think this guy was so ordinary at karaoke before, how did he become so impressive now?

”Was it really that good?” Meng Nan asked seriously.

Lin Tian nodded too. ”More than enough to get on stage.”

”Then why aren’t you clapping? What are you waiting for?” Meng Nan urged.

”...”

Seeing neither of them moving, Meng Nan started clapping for himself, still shaking his head and sighing, ”I’m really awesome...”

...

The next morning, Lin Tian swaggered into the street dance room wearing a mask.

The event was the next night, so all the members who needed to perform had to be present today.

Once there, Lin Tian took off his mask; it wasn’t very comfortable to keep wearing it.

Today, more than thirty members showed up, accounting for half of the street dance club.

Among them, there were a few people Lin Tian had met before. He nodded as a form of greeting.

Soon, Lin Tian noticed that something was off.

What was off?

Chaos, pure chaos. Everyone seemed like headless chickens, not knowing what to do.

Lin Tian quickly walked over to Zhou Mi, seeing her sitting in front of the computer, arguing with Charlson about something.

”What’s going on?” Lin Tian asked.

”We have a traitor among us!” Charlson said.

”A traitor?” Lin Tian was puzzled. What did he mean?

Zhou Mi let out a long sigh and said, ”The dance that Charlson and I choreographed was stolen! It was Wang Sicong’s people!”

Lin Tian was still confused, ”What do you mean? Explain a bit more.”

Zhou Mi was hot-tempered, and at this moment, she was extremely anxious, making it impossible to explain calmly.

But seeing Lin Tian’s face, she inexplicably calmed down and slowly said, ”Previously, the dance Charlson and I created. We’ve been practicing it for a few days, intending to perform it tomorrow. Wang Sicong brought in a group of professional street dancers and formed a dance team; they will also appear at the event, using the choreography Charleston and I created. What’s even more infuriating is, they’re performing before us!”

Lin Tian finally understood. Wang Sicong’s move was utterly disgusting.

The same dance performed twice on the same stage would lead the audience to believe that the earlier performance was original and the latter was plagiarized.

Plagiarism is like being a thief, a rat that everyone wants to beat.

The audience wouldn’t be happy, let alone the talent scouts.

Lin Tian knew how much effort Zhou Mi had put into the event, especially on the choreography, which was chosen after multiple screenings.

This act of stealing hard work is enough to make anyone feel stifled.

For someone as fiery as Zhou Mi, not leading a charge against them was already commendable.

”There really seems to be a traitor,” Lin Tian said.

In the street dance room, besides the internal members, outsiders couldn’t possibly record or get their hands on the video. The only explanation was a traitor.

Lin Tian turned his gaze to Charlson, sitting on the side, with an inquiring look, considering this guy had a shady past.

Feeling Lin Tian’s gaze, Charlson quickly raised three fingers, ”I swear, if I’m the traitor, let me be... be unfit for life! That’s a curse, and I don’t even have a son yet!”

A person’s eyes don’t lie, and Lin Tian could feel from Charlson’s eyes that he was telling the truth.

Zhou Mi rubbed her forehead, her face full of worry, ”Finding the traitor isn’t important right now; what’s important is that we go on stage tomorrow. We can’t come up with a better routine in such a short time, and we’ll surely be seen as inferior tomorrow. It’ll be all for nothing then.”

”We can’t use the old routine?” Lin Tian asked.

Zhou Mi shook her head dejectedly, ”It’s not that we can’t use it; it’s just not comparable. Our previous routine wasn’t even as good as the one plagiarized. The choreography that the traitor showed to Wang Sicong must have been evaluated carefully. Wang Sicong wouldn’t choose it if it wasn’t the best.”

”This is really disgusting,” Lin Tian clicked his tongue, ”So were you trying to create a new routine earlier?”

”Yes, but... Charlson, I, and the others are at a loss, maybe because we’re too anxious,” Zhou Mi replied.

Suddenly, Charlson looked at Lin Tian and said, ”Lin Tian! Why don’t you choreograph it?”

”What?”

Lin Tian pointed to his face, ”Are you out of your mind? Me choreograph? I’ve never done that before.”

Charlson was anxious, ”Don’t be modest! Watching you dance before, I would never believe you haven’t trained for years.”

Lin Tian was speechless. He showcased a bit before, and now he couldn’t escape; they just wouldn’t believe otherwise.

”But, you’re a professional street dancer. Didn’t you win nationwide awards before?” Lin Tian asked.

”You’re right. But I’ve already designed my best choreography before, and I’m creatively spent. Creating something better than before in such a short time? Impossible.”

Choreography is part of creation. It requires a lot of mental energy and inspiration.

It’s like writing a beautiful article with a good topic. Once this article reaches its peak, surpassing it becomes incredibly challenging.

”But...”

”No buts, just try it. We’ll all brainstorm together,” Zhou Mi said.

This left Lin Tian without an excuse. Charlson’s prior praises made it awkward if he couldn’t deliver; if nobody could come up with anything, then at least it wouldn’t be embarrassing.

As time ticked away, everyone continued their quiet discussions.

Several people approached Zhou Mi and Charlson with suggestions, but the results were always: No way!

At this moment, Charlson and Zhou Mi were very stern.

Generally, if the ideas didn’t work, they were directly rejected!

Lin Tian was sitting by himself with his eyes closed. It was unclear whether he was truly thinking or just taking a nap.

Zhou Mi wanted to approach and talk to Lin Tian, to inquire about any results, but feared disturbing him, so she sat patiently.

Suddenly, Lin Tian had a spark of inspiration and came up with an idea.
