The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 358: Chapter 358: Opening Fire

But for some reason, several of them suddenly stopped.

When they turned around, Ye Feng knew something was wrong; they had been discovered!

But before he could warn him, Lin Tian had already lifted his leg, ready to step out, and the opponent pulled the trigger at the same time!

It wasn’t until Lin Tian quickly dodged and a complaining voice sounded that Ye Feng finally had a chance to speak.

”You’ve been spotted, be careful. The enemy is right outside the skylight. If you don’t deal with these security personnel, it’ll be hard for you to get out from inside!”

Ye Feng studied the footage on the monitor, starting to calculate Lin Tian’s escape route.

”The enemy has split and is approaching you from three directions: two on the left, one on the right, and two in the middle!”

”They’re planning to trap you inside!”

”The left is near the exit; don’t worry about that side, it must be a backup direction!”

”While jumping down from the middle is the way out, it’s too high, and the enemy will be focused there. Don’t break through from there!”

”There’s a staircase on the right, but a wall blocks it. The defense there isn’t strong. With your skills, it shouldn’t be hard to climb the wall and leave. Take out the gunman on the right and break through from there!”

”I can’t tell what kind of guns they’re holding, so be careful!”

”Their gunfire was just to delay you, giving them more time to move closer!”

”Quickly break through, because if you really get surrounded, escaping won’t be simple!”

Ye Feng’s voice kept echoing, calculating a series of escape routes for Lin Tian.

”You’re in a dangerous situation; we can’t provide you with help!”

”I’ve already had Mr. Chen go to the wall behind to support you. Hurry up and break through from there!”

”Got it!” Lin Tian nodded.

He secured his backpack across his back, ensuring it wouldn’t fall off even with big movements, then took out a pistol from his pocket!

Holding the gun with both hands, he raised it beside his cheek and carefully moved behind the gap in the glass on the left side of the skylight.

Lin Tian picked up a palm-sized piece of glass from the ground, and under the moonlight, clearly saw the situation outside.

At this moment, the security personnel outside had stopped approaching!

Evidently, their current position was sufficient for shooting.

To avoid complications, they did not advance further!

”Feng, they are keeping about fifty meters away from me, half-prone on the ground, aiming at me. What should I do?”

In such matters, Lin Tian was clearly not a professional!

If it was about wielding knives and sticks in a fight, he could easily take on a hundred people by himself!

But gunfights are different from brawls; you can’t just dodge bullets with your bare chest, right? That’s insane!

So, he reported the situation to Ye Feng, to have him analyze an escape method. It was the best choice!

”Half-prone?” Half-prone and prone aren’t the same at all. ”This is troublesome! They’re using their numbers to bully you, leaving you no room for resistance!”

If they were prone, Lin Tian could seize a shooting opportunity, break out with a powerful burst and rabbit-like speed, quickly reach the wall on the right, and climb over!

But if they’re half-prone, it won’t be that easy!

Because they can stand up and pursue you immediately, all while firing at you!

A distance of fifty meters might sound long, but to professional security personnel, it’s no different from five meters!

Every security personnel is rigorously trained, with a crucial skill in short bursts of speed!

They often rely on this ability to complete certain special tasks!

”Then we’ll have to use a decoy tactic!” Ye Feng thought for a moment before speaking: ”Start with the security personnel on the left!”

”Make them think you’re trying to escape from the left. Fire a few shots; when they’re convinced you really intend to break through from the left, then deal with the security on the right and rush out!”

”Understood!” Lin Tian nodded; there was no doubt in his mind!

Since Ye Feng had arranged it this way, there had to be a reason behind it!

There’s no need to doubt, just stick to Ye Feng’s instructions, and that’s enough!

”Bang bang bang...” Lin Tian quickly shot several rounds toward the left!

Of course, he did so with careful aim.

He had already thoroughly scouted the enemy’s position through the palm-sized glass.

An ordinary special forces soldier could hit the target with a single shot!

Because their understanding of guns often exceeds their understanding of themselves!

This is why they can hit their mark every time, never missing a shot!

But Lin Tian had never used a gun before; he barely had a concept of what it was, with no understanding of the recoil or anything related!

Though he knew a gun’s recoil was powerful after firing, he knew nothing else, so he fired several shots in succession, using the immense strength in his body to minimize the gun’s recoil!

There are advantages to this approach!

The recoil from a gun can cause the bullet to veer off course!

However, if your grip is strong enough to negate almost all recoil, then the bullet can achieve the desired trajectory!

”Puff puff puff...” The sound of bullets piercing flesh followed, proving that Lin Tian’s guess was right, just as he had anticipated!

”Gulp!” Swallowing hard, this was Lin Tian’s second time using a gun, but absolutely the first time experiencing such chaotic combat; the tension in his heart was imaginable!

He had often read military novels online about gunfights.

Yet after experiencing it firsthand, he realized it wasn’t as simple as they described.

Firing a gun... wasn’t much actually!

All it really involved was pulling the trigger, the gun would shake, just like the sudden shiver a man experiences at a crucial moment!

As for whether the bullet would hit or kill somebody...

Lin Tian didn’t think about it!

Yet now, in the chaos of gunfire in the venue, you not only have to shoot but also dodge the stray bullets, one wrong move and you’d get shot.

No one wants to be in such a fight.

But with the X-ray Vision incapacitated, to break through, he could only engage in a gunfight!

There’s a time and place for mercy!

Especially when facing ruthless individuals!

With such people, you absolutely can’t afford to show compassion, or it’s tantamount to neglecting your own life!
