Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

The neighbors all knew that Nicole’s husband came to pick up Nicole and her son. Watching Nicole and Jose Floyd enter and exit together with Regina every day, they couldn’t help but scrutinize Jose Floyd.

”Nicole’s husband is so handsome, no wonder Nicole waits so faithfully for her husband to pick her up. He’s excellent, they make a great match.”

”It seems like Nicole’s husband’s family background is very good. A few days ago, I saw the luxury car driven by Nicole’s husband’s driver, and it even comes with a dedicated chauffeur. Regina is indeed the daughter of a wealthy family.”

”Nicole is good-looking, her husband is also good-looking, no wonder their Regina is so adorable.”

After Jose Floyd recovered from his illness, Nicole took him on a tour of the entire small town, narrating all the interesting incidents that happened to her from childhood till now. The town had a custom where when someone married off a daughter or a bride, they had to prepare candies to give to the townspeople.

Nicole smiled at Jose Floyd, ”Mr. Floyd, do you need me to arrange it for you?”

Jose Floyd looked at Henrik Woody by the door, ”You make the arrangements.”

”Yes, Young Master Floyd.”

In the afternoon, a van full of candies was delivered from the duty-free shop from abroad in City S, all packed into separate bags with a red envelope inside each.

Nicole was surprised to see the van full of candies, turned around and smiled, ”No need for so many, Henrik Woody is really efficient.”

Henrik Woody nodded slightly, ”Thank you for the compliment, Young Mistress.”

Jose Floyd stepped forward and wrapped his arm around Nicole’s shoulder, saying flatly to Henrik Woody, ”Deliver one bag to each household and say it’s to thank them for taking care of my wife these past two years.”

”Okay, Young Master Floyd.”

Henrik Woody, along with the van’s driver, went door to door distributing wedding candies.

Nicole looked at Jose Floyd and laughed, ”Rich and willful?”

Jose Floyd embraced her, ”When marrying off a daughter in a small town, let’s make everyone happy.”

Nicole reached out, her eyes glistening, ”Mr. Floyd, hand it over.”

”What?” Jose Floyd asked.

”The salary card, isn’t it usually the wife who manages the finances? Mr. Floyd, are you planning to control the finances alone?”

Jose Floyd nodded, ”I gave you the supplementary card the year we first met. Whatever the balance on my card, you can charge the same amount on the supplementary card.”

Nicole laughed, ”I really forgot, your supplementary card is with me.”

The people of the small town were simple, and Jose Floyd’s initiative to give out candies and red envelopes won the neighbors’ praise. Everyone said Nicole found a good husband.

In the morning, Nicole and Jose Floyd held Regina’s hand while shopping for groceries and could always hear the villagers teasing.

”Oh my, Nicole, bringing your husband out to buy groceries again? You two are like a golden couple, so well matched.”

”Yes, yes, I have a lot of greens today and can’t finish them. Why not take some home with you, Nicole?”

”I have eggs, too—farm fresh eggs, take some back for Regina.”

”You haven’t had breakfast yet, have you?” An auntie handed three pancakes to Jose Floyd, ”Son-in-law, try Auntie’s cooking. You married our town’s girl, remember to take good care of her!”

”Yes, yes, don’t bully Nicole.”

Jose Floyd accepted the pancakes, nodded at the auntie, and just as Nicole was about to thank her, Jose Floyd softly opened his lips and said to the auntie in front, ”Thank you.”

Jose Floyd was usually aloof and unemotional, but this moment left Nicole a little surprised.

Shopping for groceries in the morning, they returned fully loaded without spending a penny, all gifted by the neighbors. Nicole clung to Jose Floyd’s arm while Regina walked ahead.

”Jose, you’ve really changed a lot. Over two years, you’ve changed so much.” Nicole sighed.
