Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

”Yes, they are my closest relatives. The best way I can repay them is by living well myself, to give them peace of mind, and to not let all that my brother did for me be in vain.”

The two entered the little courtyard, Jose Floyd turned his head to look at Nicole, his voice gentle: ”Nicole, come back to Italy with me. Let’s settle in Italy. Are you willing?”

”Wherever you go, I will be there. I’ll follow you.” Nicole smiled faintly.

They went inside the house, and everyone inside stood up upon hearing the commotion.

”Mom—Mom—” Regina ran toward Nicole, her eyes red.

Nicole bent down, looking at the little one in front of her, her eyes full of surprise and joy, ”Regina, Regina, thank goodness you’re okay—you have no idea how scared you made mom!”

”Regina loves mom, worried—” Regina’s pronunciation wasn’t very clear, her red eyes showing a particularly serious expression.

At this moment, seeing Regina again, a light flashed in Jose Floyd’s mind. Looking at Regina’s little face, his body trembled involuntarily.

Originally, because he was anxious to rescue Nicole, he hadn’t thought deeply about Regina being Nicole’s daughter. But now, having found Nicole and calmed his mood, he was overwhelmed with joy watching the touching scene between mother and daughter.

Regina is about two years old, and Nicole had disappeared for two and a half years. Calculating the time, then Regina is his—!!

”Miss Nicole, we were supposed to take Regina back to the police station, but she refused firmly, so we had no choice but to stay at home and wait for you to return. Luckily, you and your daughter are okay. It’s really great.” Officer Walters said to Nicole.

Nicole nodded, ”Thank you, Officer Walters, thank you for helping me find Regina.”

Officer Walters, who was smiling and chatting with Nicole, turned his gaze to the person standing next to her upon hearing this, paused for a moment, and then said with a smile, ”It wasn’t us who found Regina; it was this gentleman who brought her back.”

Nicole moved her gaze to the person standing beside her, looking surprised, ”Jose, you—you’ve met Regina? When did you meet Regina?”

”Miss Nicole, it turns out you’re really familiar with this gentleman. When he heard about your disappearance, he reacted so strongly and left immediately. I even told my colleagues you two might have a story together; looks like you are indeed acquaintances.”

Nicole pressed her lips lightly, never having thought that Jose Floyd had met Regina, and softly spoke to Officer Walters: ”Officer Walters, he is my husband.”

”You are actually Miss Nicole’s husband? I originally thought Miss Nicole’s husband was a scumbag who abandoned Miss Nicole and her daughter without a word. It turns out... a misunderstanding indeed.”

Jose Floyd bent down to pick up Regina and, for once, politely spoke to Officer Walters, ”Thank you for taking care of my wife. I neglected Nicole before. This time I’ve returned to take my wife back.”

After speaking, Jose Floyd, holding Regina in one arm, clasped Nicole’s hand, ”I have some things to discuss with my wife, some matters to resolve. Take care, Officer Walters.”

The host had issued a polite dismissal, and Officer Walters and the others felt too embarrassed to stay any longer, promptly said goodbye to Jose Floyd and Nicole with their colleagues.

”May the broken mirror be mended, wishing you both a long-lasting happiness, love and affection, and a blissful life together.” Officer Walters gave Nicole and Jose Floyd a knowing smile.

Jose Floyd nodded slightly, holding Regina and wrapping his arm around Nicole as they turned back into the house.

Once inside, Jose Floyd immediately closed the door, looking at Nicole beside him, he gently set Regina down.

”Mrs. Floyd, please explain the matter with the child. Please tell me, hmm?”
