Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

After all, Jose Floyd has always been single, if he suddenly has a daughter out of nowhere...

That scene is unimaginable!

Jose Floyd held Regina as he followed the address released by the news.

”Young Master Floyd, why don’t I carry her? You’re still running a fever... and didn’t eat anything yesterday...” Henrik Woody said worriedly, seeing Jose Floyd’s pale face.

Although Regina wasn’t heavy, they had walked quite a distance, all on foot, and Henrik was truly afraid that Young Master Floyd, in his weakened state, might faint on these flooded streets.

”It’s alright,” Jose Floyd replied calmly.

Jose Floyd, who was feverish, was holding Regina, and his strength was gradually being drained. When they were just a bit away from their destination, a few uniformed officers passed by them, looking exhausted, discussing as they walked.

”Sigh, Regina still hasn’t been found. With such a big flood, can a two-year-old child walk out safely?”

”Not just Regina, her mother, Miss Nicole, is missing too. Her phone is unreachable; she probably went mad trying to find Regina.”

”The mother and daughter are quite pitiful, without a man at home... I just hope nothing bad happens. Miss Nicole often helps our police department; she’s a kind person.”

”Yeah, yeah, and Regina is also very sweet—”

Henrik Woody overheard their conversation and quietly said to Jose Floyd, ”Young Master Floyd, they’re looking for Regina...”

Henrik was inquiring about Jose Floyd’s thoughts.

Jose Floyd, holding Regina, glanced at her sheltered body and head wrapped in a raincoat, and nodded subtly to Henrik.

Henrik understood and called out to the passing officers, ”Officers, Regina is here, we specifically came to take her home.”

The leading officer was Officer Walters, who had previously escorted Regina and her mother home and was familiar with them. Upon hearing Henrik’s words, Officer Walters and the others stopped and quickly approached.

When they saw Regina in Jose Floyd’s arms, and Regina called out ”Uncle Walters,” all the officers breathed a sigh of relief.

It was indeed Regina. Finally found, and fortunately unharmed.

All the officers were happy, and Henrik explained Regina’s situation to them. The officers praised Jose Floyd and Henrik.

Henrik and Officer Walters exchanged a few polite words.

Officer Walters suddenly asked Henrik and Jose Floyd, ”Did you see a woman along the way, with chestnut curls, a slender figure, about 165 cm tall, very fair skin? She’s Regina’s mother. After Regina went missing, she went out in the heavy rain to find her and lost contact. The water level keeps rising, and the rain won’t stop, the streets are flooded, it’s very dangerous.”

Chestnut curls—slender figure—about 165 cm tall...

Everything mentioned perfectly matched someone Jose Floyd was thinking about, a deep glint in his eyes, his thoughts a bit distant.

Aside from having a child, everything Officer Walters described matched her...

It was at this moment that Officer Walters’ phone rang. He answered immediately.

”Okay, I understand—evacuate immediately... but we still have a missing person here, well, it’ll have to be this way...”

After hanging up, Officer Walters remained silent for a while, then addressed his colleagues, ”We’ve been ordered to evacuate, water levels are still rising, safety first.”

”What about Miss Nicole?” A colleague asked.

Officer Walters sighed, ”The armed police have deployed flood control assault boats and rubber dinghies to move some trapped residents. I’ve reported Miss Nicole’s disappearance to higher-ups, they will search for her. We can’t continue looking on foot, we must leave immediately.”
