Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

”Jose—”

Nicole instinctively felt a bit scared of Jose Floyd’s serious demeanor and retreated slightly, ”The child... that’s how it is.”

”... Mrs. Floyd, honesty is the best policy.” Jose Floyd looked at Nicole with a seriousness devoid of any jest.

”Well—well, that’s the child I had after leaving you. Yes, I got married and had a child.” Nicole waved off Jose Floyd.

Jose Floyd briefly glanced at Nicole, ”Regina, tell Uncle, how old are you this year?”

Regina, who had been watching the two, immediately replied sweetly, ”Regina is two years old, Regina has grown up.”

Nicole: ”...” The child is too honest, what to do?

Jose Floyd’s gaze remained fixed on Nicole, deep with a faintly dangerous tone, ”Mrs. Floyd, you said you got married. You’ve been away from me for two and a half years and had a two-year-old child. Congratulations to your new husband, this is quite a surprise! Regina is a Floyd; she is my child.”

Nicole knew that despite Jose Floyd’s seeming calm, he was slightly angry. Without thinking, she took two steps forward and embraced his waist, pressing her lips against his thin ones.

It was her fault regarding the child; she indeed concealed it, causing him to unknowingly be a father for two years without knowing Regina’s existence. Therefore, dealing with Jose, she could only be gentle!

Aunt Myres had taught her this back at the Manor Estate, and she hadn’t forgotten.

Aunt Myres said if the young master was angry, don’t say anything, just kiss him directly!

If one kiss doesn’t work, two will! Jose’s anger would soon dissipate! So, in this critical moment, how could she not take the initiative!

Nicole just wanted to dispel Jose Floyd’s anger, with a bit of mischievous intent, but the moment she kissed Jose Floyd, she felt her body and face start to heat up.

Jose is poisonous—

Those were Nicole’s murmurs in her heart.

Originally, Jose Floyd indeed carried anger, but the moment she kissed him, his eyes transformed from light clouds into gentle waters.

Whether past or present, she always easily conquered him, leaving him nowhere to hide, disarming him.

Because Regina was watching, Nicole briefly kissed Jose’s lips to cover her unusual expression, softly smiling, ”Jose, does this explanation satisfy you? My former, current, and future are all someone with the last name Floyd. So, Regina, her full name is Regina Floyd.”

This time, Jose Floyd found her answer satisfactory, ”Mrs. Floyd, you are indeed sensible.”

Nicole chuckled softly, watching Jose Floyd’s eyes glisten with warmth, her voice gentle, ”Regina is my longing for you because I believe that true thoughts will find their echoes. I know, Jose, you’d surely come to find me. As I watched Regina grow, I thought of you, I’ve thought of you for so many days.”

All of Jose Floyd’s emotions vanished with such a tender statement, as he took Nicole into his embrace.

When his hand touched her body, she felt his fingers trembling slightly.

”Jose—” She looked up at his face.

Then heard Jose Floyd’s hoarse voice, ”Nicole, it won’t happen again in the future, no need to yearn because we won’t be apart anymore. Actually, I’m not angry at you, just scared... carrying the child, how could you stand in front of me, do you realize how you and the child could have...”

”In that situation, I didn’t think for a moment, I just knew Aunt Cooper’s hatred and blame for me couldn’t involve you, because Brother Cooper’s matter isn’t your doing. You wouldn’t harm him. Jose, I’m someone who knows the truth, and I couldn’t watch Aunt Cooper hurt you.”
