Chapter 538: Chapter 538 Benny Saxton Comes Knocking!

Arlo Seys held Ariel Morris’s hand and continued walking, ”Didn’t you want to see the scenery? I’ll accompany you.”

Ariel Morris tightly gripped Arlo Seys’s hand, her gaze deep, as they walked hand in hand under the sycamore trees.

”Arlo, what do you think about Nicole joining the military?”

Arlo Seys’s voice was low: ”Let her choose her own path in life. In this generation of the Seys Family, it’s just me and Nicole. I’m in business, if Nicole joins the military, she will have my father’s support, and a career in politics would also be good.”

Ariel Morris nodded, ”That’s true, the Seys Family’s status in politics also requires a direct successor,”

”The military can strengthen a person’s body and will; there’s no harm in being tougher.”

”Hmm.”

The next day, not long after Ariel Morris and Arlo Seys arrived at Era, Callan Walkers received a call from the front desk and immediately entered the president’s office.

”President Seys, a call from the front desk, Benny Saxton is here!” Callan Walkers said in a low voice to the person sitting behind the desk.

”Benny Saxton?” Arlo Seys stopped his writing and looked at Callan, his voice low and deep, ”Let him come up.”

Callan hesitated, ”But Miss Morris-----”

Miss Morris is Benny Saxton’s biological daughter! If they meet...

”It’s fine, I’m here.”

”Okay, President Seys.”

Callan didn’t hesitate any longer, turned and left the office, relaying Arlo Seys’s words to the front desk.

Arlo Seys’s gaze was deep, his fingers lightly tapping on the table, somewhat lost in thought.

Benny Saxton coming to Era was obviously about Susan’s matter. In City C, the Seys Family was the local power, so Benny Saxton had to bow his head and speak nicely. But Benny Saxton, after all my efforts to avenge Susan, do you think your persuasion will let me spare her?

A few minutes later, Callan Walkers led Benny Saxton into the president’s office on the sixty-eighth floor.

”President Seys, President Saxton is here.”

Arlo Seys held a pen, focusing on his documents, not even lifting his head, as if he hadn’t heard.

Callan knew his boss was doing it on purpose, so he didn’t disturb, standing straight with a smile on his face, exuding elegance and calmness, neither humble nor arrogant.

Benny Saxton felt awkward at being given the cold shoulder by Arlo Seys, but since he was asking for something, he had to lower his stance and break the silence first: ”President Seys, I am Benny Saxton from the Saxton Enterprises in City T, it’s a pleasure to be at Era meeting President Seys.”

Only then did Arlo Seys put down the pen, raised his head slowly, and took a good look at Benny Saxton before him. The firm contours, seemingly gentle gaze yet hiding sharpness, and a well-tailored high-quality suit to boot. Remembering his ’life deeds’ made Arlo Seys recall the saying: ’Appearing smart in attire, but worse than a beast within’!

Arlo Seys watched for a dozen seconds then casually said, ”President Saxton is here, sorry, I was busy and didn’t notice.”

Benny Saxton knew he did it on purpose yet couldn’t expose it, so he just smiled and said, ”Era is such a large enterprise, of course, President Seys is busy. I’m here to discuss something with you today.”

Arlo Seys responded indifferently with a hum, stood up and sat on the leather sofa, gesturing an invitation.

Benny Saxton smiled and took a seat opposite Arlo Seys.

Shortly, the secretary brought in two cups of tea.

Arlo Seys took a sip of the tea lightly, casually sitting on the sofa with a cold and indifferent expression, yet his inherent nobility was hard to conceal, his aura overwhelming.

Benny Saxton held the tea, seemingly sipping appreciatively, yet his gaze continuously surveyed Arlo Seys across from him, inwardly sighing: No wonder Susan would fall for Arlo Seys, such an extraordinary aura and appearance, really unmatched by ordinary people.

Arlo Seys knew Benny Saxton was scrutinizing him, yet didn’t break the silence, calmly sipping his tea.

When it comes to composure and endurance, he truly never loses!
