Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Relax with a massage?

Hearing this, Meng Yue’s body slightly stiffened, her face flushed. She looked at Lu Yu in front of her and said, ”The set of moves you taught me, can’t I just do them once when I go back? Why bother with a proper massage?”

Currently, Meng Yue had slight doubts about Lu Yu’s words. The set of moves Lu Yu had previously taught her, she had been doing them regularly and found them very effective. Now she didn’t understand why Lu Yu needed to massage her.

”Beauty, the set of moves I taught you last time was to relax your entire body’s muscles. But this time, your fatigue isn’t muscle-related; it’s because staying up late has harmed your spirit.”

Upon hearing Meng Yue’s words, Lu Yu lightly said, ”Do you often feel inexplicably tired now, always wanting to sleep, but after waking up, that sense of fatigue can’t be dissipated?”

”Exactly!”

Responding to Lu Yu’s words, Meng Yue blurted out, with a hint of astonishment in her expression.

What Lu Yu just mentioned described Meng Yue’s current state perfectly!

Since she began working on this case, the earliest Meng Yue would sleep was 3 AM. By now, she could clearly feel that she lacked energy every day, always wanted to sleep, yet the fatigue persisted after waking.

Initially, Meng Yue was troubled by this but had no time to pay attention due to her tasks. Hearing Lu Yu’s explanation, she reacted, ”Have I hurt my spirit?”

”Exactly.”

Upon hearing Meng Yue, Lu Yu nodded and calmly said, ”Your condition is due to spirit harm from staying up late. You need a massage to relieve it; otherwise, whether you sleep or not makes little difference. Over time, your body will collapse.”

”Alright then.”

Hearing Lu Yu, Meng Yue nodded, then said, ”In that case, I’ll trouble you.”

In her words, Meng Yue’s tone showed a slight embarrassment. It seemed she had misunderstood Lu Yu’s intentions a bit.

”Then come with me.”

Hearing Meng Yue, Lu Yu shook his head, smiled, and said, with a hint of helplessness.

...

Upon entering Lu Yu’s room, Meng Yue sat on his bed while Lu Yu stood behind her, his hands gently pressing on her soft shoulders.

At this moment, Lu Yu and Meng Yue were in the room together in the late night. This scene made Meng Yue’s face blush, her feminine charms fully exposed.

”This spirit damage is a sign of your body’s exhaustion, which is harmful in the long run.”

Looking at Meng Yue’s unmistakable fatigue in her brows, Lu Yu seriously said, ”The depletion from such exhaustion can’t be recovered by normal rest.”

”I know, but this case is too important, and they’re pushing hard from above. I can’t avoid overtime.”

Hearing Lu Yu, Meng Yue helplessly said, ”If the ’Ghost’ drug spreads further, it would be terrifying for all of LA City.”

”Alright, I understand.”

Hearing Meng Yue, Lu Yu nodded and said, ”I’m going to start now. I might apply a bit of pressure, bear with it.”

”Haven’t started yet?”

Surprised by Lu Yu’s words, Meng Yue thought he was already massaging her shoulders, not expecting it hadn’t begun yet.

”I was just helping you relax.”

Hearing Meng Yue, Lu Yu explained, ”Relaxation is necessary before a massage, or the effect isn’t good—it’s common sense.”

”Alright.”

Hearing Lu Yu, Meng Yue blushed and said, ”Should I lie down on the bed now?”

Her words contained a hint of shyness, for some reason, saying it felt strange to her.

”No need, my technique is simple, no need to lie down.”

Hearing Meng Yue’s words, Lu Yu shook his head and said, ”I’m starting now.”

With that, Lu Yu applied slight pressure with his hands on Meng Yue’s shoulders, slowly kneading them!

”Ah!”

As Lu Yu squeezed, Meng Yue let out a soft exclamation, feeling an unbearable soreness in her shoulders, ”You’re so heavy-handed...”

”I’m relaxing the energy channels in your body, keeping them open and relieving your tense nerves.”

Hearing Meng Yue, Lu Yu explained, his hands slowly moving to her back, fingers working hard as he massaged.

As the captain of a detective squad, Meng Yue usually underwent appropriate training, keeping her body in great shape.

Though Lu Yu was massaging her back, the softness beneath his palms made his breathing slightly heavier.

Aware of his slightly heavier breathing, Lu Yu shook his head, took a deep breath, continuing the massage.

Gradually, the initial soreness faded from Meng Yue’s body, replaced by an incomparable feeling of comfort, as if her back’s muscles and channels were joyfully dancing.

This feeling of comfort made Meng Yue let out soft murmurs, clearly enjoying it.

The massage continued downward, until Lu Yu reached Meng Yue’s slender waist, when suddenly, he noticed a faint glint of light from his peripheral vision!

Sensing the light, Lu Yu’s body froze momentarily, a cold gleam flashed in his eyes!

The gleam quickly faded, and Lu Yu’s eyes returned to normal, as if nothing happened.

A moment later, after earnestly massaging Meng Yue, he said lightly, ”Alright, the massage is done. You can rest now. Tomorrow morning, make a porridge using the recipe I gave you, and you should recover mostly.”

In his words, Lu Yu’s tone was calm, but his thoughts had wandered back to that brief flash of light!

That light was clearly a reflection from some lens, though fast, Lu Yu clearly caught it.

This indicated a problem.

At this moment, someone was watching from the opposite building!

”Ha!”

Hearing Lu Yu, Meng Yue slowly got up, yawning as she said, ”So comfortable, I just want to sleep well now, your skill is even better than a professional masseur.”

Meng Yue felt as if she had been washed clean, her body tingling, just wanting to sleep well, without the previous fatigue.

”Just a trivial skill, not worth mentioning.”

Hearing Meng Yue, Lu Yu remained composed, not mentioning the flash of light, saying with a faint smile, ”Go rest; don’t you have work tomorrow?”

Hearing Lu Yu, Meng Yue smiled and said, ”Alright, understood. Thanks this time. Once I’m less busy, I’ll make some chicken soup to thank you. I’m off to sleep, good night~”

Smiling at Lu Yu, Meng Yue got up and returned to her home across the hall.

After Meng Yue left, Lu Yu’s smile gradually faded, a cold gleam flashing in his eyes.

He then turned off all the lights in the room and quickly went downstairs, heading to the opposite building.

No matter what the reason, that flash of light made him feel very uneasy!
