Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

After driving back to his place, Lu Yu parked the car, sat in the driver’s seat, and stared blankly at the steering wheel in front of him, seeming somewhat lost in thought.

At this moment, images of everything that had just happened flashed through Lu Yu’s mind, and a faint cold smile appeared on his face!

According to the Jin family’s conspiracy, this time they intended for Li Ming and Song Hao to hide in the shadows and assist in assassinating Gu Yunqi, which would completely exacerbate the conflict between himself and the Gu family. After both sides were severely weakened, the Jin family would step in to reap the benefits!

Such a plan was indeed very perfect, and if it succeeded, the consequences would be unimaginable!

He and the Gu family were originally enemies, so there was no need for explanation or possibility of reconciliation, especially since the youngest member of the Gu family, Gu Yunfeng, had also died at his hands. Therefore, if Gu Yunqi were to die at his hands this time, the Gu family would definitely retaliate against him fiercely!

By that time, he and the Gu family would inevitably fight to the death, while the mastermind behind it all, the Jin family, would wait in the wings to make their move at the critical moment and capture both him and the Gu family in one fell swoop!

The viciousness of such a tactic truly exceeded Lu Yu’s expectations; before this, he never thought the Jin family could be so ruthless!

If he hadn’t seen through it in time, he really might have killed Gu Yunqi on the spot, thus falling into the Jin family’s trap!

But now, the matter has been perfectly resolved by Lu Yu!

Gu Yunqi was killed by Li Ming and Song Hao’s gunfire, and Li Ming and Song Hao were killed by the Yin Blade Technique. Moreover, the only two underlings who knew the truth were executed by Lu Yu with Li Ming’s pistol, so from any angle now, it looks like it was a battle between Li Ming, Song Hao, and Gu Yunqi, having nothing to do with Lu Yu!

Furthermore, there was no trace at the scene that could indicate Lu Yu’s presence, so the scheme originally meant to target Lu Yu and the Gu family has now been completely turned on the Jin family!

And the Jin family at this moment remains unaware of this!

Thinking of this, Lu Yu let out a cold laugh, a hint of iciness in his eyes!

”Jin Qingyun, oh Jin Qingyun, I’ve already set the stage for you. Now it’s up to you and the Gu family to fight it out!”

”I really hope both of your families can put on a good show!”

In his words, Lu Yu seemed exceptionally somber.

Now, even he wanted to know what the scene would be like when the Jin family and the Gu family fought against each other!

Thinking of this, Lu Yu shook his head, then got out of the car, locked it, and walked toward his apartment unit.

...

As he arrived at the bottom of his apartment building, Lu Yu unexpectedly encountered Meng Yue at the elevator.

At this moment, Meng Yue was dressed in a sharp police uniform, and at a glance, she looked cold and stern, with a hint of fatigue, evidently just off work.

Seeing Meng Yue, Lu Yu was slightly startled; he instinctively took out his phone to check the time and found that it was already 10 PM. To his surprise, Meng Yue had just gotten off work.

”Hey beauty, busy day, huh? Why are you getting off work so late?”

Upon seeing Meng Yue, Lu Yu asked with a smile, his words carrying a hint of concern.

”You call this late?”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Meng Yue shook her head, her face showing a hint of helplessness: ”This is the earliest I’ve gotten off work in the past week!”

Due to the recent influx of cases, as the head of the criminal police team, she was naturally swamped, constantly rushing between crime scenes without a moment to rest.

”Earliest day off?”

Hearing Meng Yue’s words, Lu Yu was slightly taken aback, then asked, ”Another big case on your hands recently?”

Even Lu Yu felt a sense of awe for the police profession, knowing full well how tiring and dangerous it was, especially in the face of major cases that required them to work day and night, exhausting themselves.

Moreover, it was easy to encounter danger if they were not careful!

”Exactly!”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Meng Yue nodded and said, ”Recently, an external gang came to LA City, selling a drug called ’Ghost’ in various bars, causing a very negative impact. We’ve been tailing them for a whole week, only managing to bust their entire team three days ago!”

As she spoke, Meng Yue pressed the elevator button and entered the elevator with Lu Yu.

”You busted the whole team, shouldn’t you be resting? Why are you still getting off work so late?”

Hearing Meng Yue’s words, Lu Yu was even more puzzled. With the arrests made, and interrogation not being particularly urgent, why was Meng Yue still working so late?

”The team is busted, but they were all just small fry; the true boss and leader are still at large, so we must urgently pursue them!”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Meng Yue spoke with frustration: ”This ’Ghost’ drug is extremely harmful and addictive with no chance of quitting. If their leader remains at large, it won’t be long before the drug resurfaces, so the task given from above is heavy; we must quickly find out their leader’s whereabouts.”

Her words were filled with exhaustion but also deep responsibility, showing her dedication and seriousness in her work.

”You truly are a good police officer. In that case, why not come to my place later, I’ll help you relax.”

Upon hearing Meng Yue, Lu Yu instinctively suggested, speaking calmly and lightly.

However, while Lu Yu spoke without intent, Meng Yue perceived it differently, her body slightly tensing, and a blush appearing on her face.

”To your place?”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Meng Yue asked: ”You perverted exhibitionist, what are you trying to do?”

It was ten at night, alone together in an elevator, with Lu Yu suddenly inviting Meng Yue to his place to help her relax; such words could easily be misinterpreted!

Hearing this, Lu Yu was speechless. How could this cold and capable female police officer always think in such a risque direction?

Thinking of this, Lu Yu shook his head, then clarified: ”What are you thinking? I see you’re exhausted and sluggish; you probably overworked yourself, so I’m just offering a massage to help you relax.”
