Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

The next morning, in LA City, at the security department of Victory Group.

Lu Yu was sitting in his office playing games, appearing completely indifferent, just as if nothing had happened the night before.

Though Lu Yu was indeed puzzled, he wouldn’t waste his time pondering questions to which he currently had no answers.

Because doing so would only lead to endless frustration without a shred of benefit!

”Boss!”

At this moment, as Lu Yu was engrossed in an intense game, Wu Song came running in, and upon seeing Lu Yu, he spoke in a fawning tone, ”Yunting is looking for you!”

Yunting!?

When Wu Song said this, Lu Yu’s body slightly trembled. He immediately looked up at Wu Song, asking, ”Why is Yunting looking for me?”

Lu Yu was also completely clueless at this moment. Hadn’t he handed everything to Yunting to deal with last night? Why was Yunting suddenly coming back today?

Could it be that Yunting ran into some trouble last night?

Thinking of this, even Lu Yu found it inexplicable.

”He didn’t specify what it was about, just asked me to bring you out,”

hearing Lu Yu’s question, Wu Song scratched his head and said with a silly grin, looking very respectful: ”He also said that you’ll understand everything once you step outside.”

”Alright then!”

Listening to Wu Song, Lu Yu immediately removed his hands from the computer, stood up, and said, ”You take over my game, I’m going to check it out.”

With that, Lu Yu shook his head, looking utterly helpless, and walked out towards the Victory Group’s exterior.

Even Lu Yu didn’t know what tricks Yunting was up to now.

Walking briskly outside of Victory Group, Lu Yu looked up and saw Yunting standing at the entrance, in a neat suit, with a brand new Bentley Mulsanne parked behind him, drawing significant attention.

Around the Bentley, many Victory Group employees and clients gathered, whispering among themselves, trying to figure out what kind of scheme Yunting was up to this time.

”Yunting, what kind of trick are you pulling!?”

Looking at Yunting in front of him, Lu Yu spoke with a tone full of questions: ”Did you not handle last night’s situation?”

”It’s handled!”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s question, Yunting enthusiastically came up to Lu Yu and said respectfully, ”I am here to deliver a gift for you, Young Master Lu!”

”A gift? What kind of gift?”

Hearing Yunting’s words, Lu Yu was baffled. It wasn’t a holiday or anything, so why was Yunting giving him a gift?

”Ah, Young Master Lu,”

Yunting replied, ”The saying goes that a good horse deserves a good saddle, and a precious sword is fit for a hero. Someone of your status shouldn’t be driving around in an old business car every day. It’s not fitting at all, so today, I bought a car matching the style of your old one as a gift for you, hoping you’d accept it!”

With these words, Yunting waved his hand, and a sharply dressed henchman quickly came forward, handing a brand-new Bentley key to Lu Yu, saying, ”Young Master Lu, here are the keys, please accept them!”

Seeing this, Lu Yu shook his head and smiled.

It must be said that Yunting indeed lived up to his reputation as the boss of the Celestial Wolf Association. His grasp of social interactions was noteworthy; Lu Yu just drove around in an old business car yesterday, and today Yunting gifted him a new one, in Lu Yu’s eyes, a very considerate move!

In reality, this wasn’t just an act of random kindness by Yunting. He had witnessed Lu Yu’s ruthlessness at the Bihaus Club yesterday when interrogating Marlo, which left Yunting utterly terrified.

After dealing with Marlo last night, Yunting saw the stash of money in Marlo’s office, and without Lu Yu’s consent, he wouldn’t dare pocket it.

Hence, under such circumstances, Yunting used that money to buy the Bentley, hoping to win over Lu Yu.

So in this case, Yunting’s actions could definitely be seen as borrowing flowers to present to the Buddha.

And now Lu Yu knew how Yunting had acquired this Bentley, but as the saying goes, one doesn’t hit a smiling face. Yunting went out of his way to buy a car to curry favor, albeit not with his own money, the sentiment was there.

In such a situation, Lu Yu smiled, patted Yunting’s shoulder, and said, ”Not bad, you’re smart; I like this gift, thanks for the trouble!”

Lu Yu certainly had no reason to refuse the car; it was a gift for him after all, and his last car was totaled; who knows how long the insurance process would take.

So this Bentley, he thought, if not accepted, would be a waste.

”Of course, anytime!”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Yunting hurriedly said, with a tone full of respect and fawning, ”Young Master Lu, I’m here today just for this. Now that you’ve accepted the car, I should get going. I’ve just taken over Marlo’s territory, and there’s still work to be done on those grounds!”

After dealing with Marlo last night, Yunting wasted no time, spending the night absorbing all of Marlo’s turf, and now he was completely elated.

”No problem,”

Hearing Yunting’s words, Lu Yu smiled and said, ”Go ahead, do your thing; if anything comes up, I’ll reach out to you!”

With that, Yunting chuckled, respectfully greeted Lu Yu once more, and headed off towards the newly acquired territory with his underlings.

Watching Yunting’s departing figure, Lu Yu smiled, about to turn back to his office.

Just then, a security guard suddenly ran over, handed Lu Yu a package, and said, ”Boss, your package!”

”My package!?”

Hearing this, Lu Yu couldn’t help but laugh. What was going on today?

First Yunting gave him a car, and now someone else sent a package. Could it be that Lu Yu’s luck was on the rise?

”Yes, it’s indeed your package, Boss!”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, the security guard replied, ”It even has your name on it.”

With his name on it?!

Hearing the guard’s words, Lu Yu was slightly startled, and then he took the package and saw it indeed had ’For Lu Yu Only’ written on it.

Upon seeing this, Lu Yu’s smile froze slightly, his eyes flashed with intrigue.

Having been missing for so long, with few acquaintances left, who would randomly decide to send him a package at this time!?
