Villainous Family Young Master: My Life is Over

Creak—

I gently pushed the door of the guest room open.

Warm sunlight filtered through the windows, illuminating the quiet room.

The brown haired boy still lay peacefully on the bed, his chest rising and falling steadily.

Beside him, on another bed, the little golden fox remained curled into a fluffy ball, her tails wrapped around her tiny body as she slept soundly.

”...So cute.”

Aina unconsciously covered her mouth as if she was afraid that her voice would wake the little fox.

Her pink eyes sparkled as she stared at the fluffy little creature.

She slowly stepped forward and stopped in front of the little fox.”

”I’ll start with the little fox first.”

Aina slowly extended her delicate hand toward the sleeping little fox.

A soft golden light gathered upon her palm.

She gently placed her hand above the fox’s tiny body before softly whispering,

”Second Order Holy Magic—Blessing of Light.”

A warm golden radiance quietly enveloped the little fox.

Unlike ordinary Light Magic, the holy power felt exceptionally gentle, carrying a sacred aura that seemed capable of washing away all darkness.

Time passed slowly and both Aina and I watched the little fox without blinking.

However, a few seconds passed... another few seconds then the holy light gradually faded away.

The little fox remained curled up in the exact same position, sleeping peacefully without the slightest sign of waking.

”...”

”...”

Aina slowly lowered her hand and a trace of disappointment appeared on her innocent face.

”It... it didn’t work...”

”I-I’m sorry, Reina-chan. I wasn’t able to help...”

Seeing her blaming herself, I immediately shook my head and gently held her hands.

”You don’t need to apologize. I already expected this outcome.”

”Even my Light Magic had no effect on them. I only wanted to try every possible method.”

Aina still looked somewhat dejected.

”But... Holy Magic is supposed to be effective against curses and evil...”

”It is indeed effective.”

A calm voice suddenly echoed inside my mind. It was Master Cecilia’s voice.

”But the fox girl isn’t corrupted. The reason for her coma is both injury and her overdrawn power. Simple Holy Magic or Light Magic isn’t enough to heal her. You need at least Seventh Order Magic to heal her.”

Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

”Of course, the little girl did accelerate her normal recovery. Therefore, her magic isn’t completely ineffective.”

”Compared to the fox girl, I suggest you let her heal that boy. Her power should be able to affect him.”

I silently nodded after listening to Master Cecilia’s explanation.

So that was the case.

It wasn’t that Aina’s Holy Magic had failed. Rather, the little fox’s condition simply couldn’t be healed by magic of this level.

Even so, Master Cecilia had said that Aina’s Holy Magic had accelerated her natural recovery, so it wasn’t completely ineffective.

Thinking of this, I gently squeezed Aina’s hands and smiled.

”Aina. The little fox’s condition seems to be difficult to heal, let’s try healing the boy first.”

”The boy?”

She blinked in confusion before looking toward the brown-haired youth sleeping quietly on the other bed.

”O-Okay.”

Aina took a small breath before walking toward the boy’s bedside.

Standing quietly beside the bed, she clasped her hands together and closed her emerald eyes.

A faint golden radiance slowly gathered between her palms.

After silently offering a brief prayer to the Goddess of Light, she gently raised her hand above the unconscious boy.

”Second Order Holy Magic—Blessing of Light.”

The soft golden glow descended once more, enveloping the boy’s entire body with a warm and sacred brilliance.

(Robert’s Perspective)

—Once again, you can’t do anything. You’re so weak. So vulnerable, just like the last time. Whether it was facing that women before or facing the cultist now, you’re just a weakling.

—Don’t you think you’re too useless.

Deep in the depth of my consciousness, the voice that I had long since forgotten, sounded once again.

It was like a devil, exposing all my scars.

But it was right because I was indeed thinking that I was useless.

—Hehe, why don’t you just give me your body? I promise you, you will never have to experience this weakness again.

Although I don’t know who you are or what my situation is but judging from the last time, are you perhaps some kind of secondary consciousness or personality like some anime protagonists.

———

Hehe, why are you silent? Was my guess right?

Compared to last time, my current situation is much better. I didn’t think about it before but my body, it has something special, doesn’t it?

Compared to when I was in despair due to betrayal and kidnapping, I was much more clear headed, even though I knew I could die at anytime because of the Evil God’s descent.

Now that I think about it, why did the Author send me into the body of Robert Von Anglus? Not only that but he also gave me a System.

What exactly was the reason before it?

Recalling the plot, I remembered that in the future when Robert defected to the devils, the devils accepted him because of his special bloodline.

So what was this special bloodline and why did the devils accept Robert?

What about Lia? Why didn’t the novel talk about her having any special bloodline?

Besides, the Anglus family was a pure human Marquis family. It didn’t have a special bloodline at all.

There were also some things I don’t remember.

But now, I believe that Robert Von Anglus is a special existence in this world. He is absolutely not limited to the role of a villain because there was no such thing as a Second Personality in the Original work.

It could also be that the real world is different from the novel.

———

Hey, why are silent, say something!! I need to clear my doubts.

Although I couldn’t see or feel anything, as if I was sinking into abyss of darkness, I didn’t feel uncomfortable and even had the leisure to chat with this unknown entity in my mind.

—Hey, since when did your brain start working so fast?

—It’s a pity, some people won’t let you remember these conjunctures of yours before the time is right?

What do you mean someone won’t let me remember them? And what conjunctures are you talking about.

His words shook my mind violently. Can he see my memories? And what’s up with not letting me remember things.

—Hehe, your guess is right. I can see what you’re thinking and I can also answer your guess.

—Your guess about me isn’t entirely wrong. But it’s not entirely correct either. I am not a Secondary Personality. I am you and you’re me, we were originally one. It’s just, an existence has separated us.

Separated us??

—Yes, separated. Do you know why you do not have memories of Robert before the age of five and why do you think that you occupied his body after he turned five?

—That’s because you were separated at that time with only the memories of the past world.

—Unlike what you might think, you’re not transmigrating into someone else’s body. Instead you transmigrated into your mother’s womb and were reborn from scratch.

—As for you not being able to remember things, it’s because someone will soon obscure your memories. You will only think of this as a dream.

Reborn! Separated! Memory turning into a dream

These words shocked me

Just as I wanted to ask more, the voice inside me spoke again.

—Don’t worry, only your guess about me and my later information will be obscured because that guy wants to cultivate us. So you won’t be harmed.

—It’s time for you to wake up now. I will look forward to you falling into despair again and coming down again.
