Villainous Family Young Master: My Life is Over

(Beastmen Kingdom Empress’s Perspective)

”Your Majesty, this is the latest intelligence from the Antasia Empire.”

A shadow guard silently emerged from the darkness before kneeling on one knee, respectfully presenting a sealed report with both hands.

I nodded and accepted the report without a word before beginning to read.

The report detailed everything that had happened in the Antasia Empire following the Evil God’s descent.

The Imperial Capital had gradually returned to its former tranquility, while the Imperial Family continued to suppress information regarding the incident.

Unfortunately, those who could know about this incident already knew it, and those who couldn’t would never know of this. So this blockade was of no use.

But this isn’t what I cared about.

I continued to look down.

Soon, I saw the news I was concerned about.

But after reading it, I couldn’t help but clench the paper.

Controlling my agitated emotions, I looked down at the shadow guard

”You can leave.”

”As you command, Your Majesty.”

Without another word, the shadow guard’s figure gradually dissolved into the surrounding darkness until not even the slightest trace of his presence remained.

”...”

A soft sigh escaped my lips.

”Still no news...”

Just as I murmured those words, a figure emerged from the shadows.

A mature fox woman with long silver hair slowly stepped into the moonlight. A pair of elegant fox ears rested atop her head, while several fluffy tails swayed gently behind her with graceful movements.

Without saying a word, she walked behind me and wrapped her arms around my shoulders.

Stolen story; please report.

”It’s alright. We’ll find her.”

Hearing her gentle voice, which had accompanied me for countless years, the dignified look on my face collapsed.

I leaned back into her embrace, allowing myself a rare moment of weakness.

”...Sister.”

She lightly stroked my head, just as she had done when we were children.

”Maybe I shouldn’t have let Elize be so willful. That way, she wouldn’t have gotten involved in something so dangerous. Now, even the shadow guards can’t find her trace.”

”Fortunately, Elize’s Soul Fire is still burning fiercely, which means she is alright. If not, I may really collapse.”

Although I showed a dignified, calm, and cold appearance in front of the court, I couldn’t help but worry about Elize, especially since she disappeared with the unknown Crowned One.

The fox woman smiled helplessly before gently tightening her embrace.

One of her fluffy tails slowly wrapped around my waist while another lightly brushed against my arm, its warmth surprisingly comforting.

”You’ve said the same thing so many times. You know very well that wasn’t your fault.” She lowered her head, her cheek gently rubbing against mine.

”If you had tried to stop Elize, would she have listened?”

”...No.”

A bitter smile appeared on my lips.

That child, she was looking for a way to heal her sister.

As her mother, I couldn’t stop her and didn’t want to stop her.

Even though I knew that the possibility of finding the Fairyland was extremely slim, I couldn’t extinguish my own daughter’s hope.

The fox woman softly chuckled and her fingers gently intertwined with mine, ”Exactly. So stop blaming yourself.”

”I don’t like seeing you torment yourself.”

Feeling the warmth, my tense body gradually relaxed.

Without thinking, I turned around within her embrace.

The moment our eyes met, all the composure I had painstakingly maintained disappeared.

I rested my forehead against hers.

”I just...I miss her. I am worried about her encountering any trouble.”

Unfortunately, as the Empress, i can’t show this side of mine to anyone but you.

The words remained in my heart but I believe that my sister could understand me.

”I know. I miss her too.”

She nodded without hesitation.

Her hand slowly wiped my cheek, brushing away a tear that had unknowingly escaped.

”But do not worry. Not to mention that Elize has the Beast Lord’s Bell, just the fact that the Crowned One stopped the Evil God’s Projection means he definitely belongs to the Lawful Camp. Therefore, Elize will definitely be alright.”

”Besides, as her mother, don’t you know what kind of existence Elize exactly is? In this world, there are very few things that can truly harm her.”

”But if that really happens then...”

Elize’s identity was absolutely special.

The fact that she could drive a treasure like Beast Lord’s Bell at only Fifth Order, explained her Extraordinary nature.

As her mother, I knew exactly what Elize’s identity was.

In a sense, she was ⬛ ⬛ ⬛ ⬛ ⬛

”Don’t worry, even if it comes to that, aren’t there you and me. With us here, even premature awakening will not affect her.”

The fox woman words slowly soothed my heart.

Listening to them, my heart slowly calmed down.

That’s true, even if Elize awakened prematurely, her and her sister’s years of cultivation weren’t in vain.

Premature awakening may lower her strength slightly, but it will definitely not hurt her essence.

”So believe in her. Believe in our ⬛ ⬛ ⬛ ⬛ ⬛!”
